Belmont Village

I did a comprehensive search for a place for my elderly (90) mom who had advanced dementia. I toured over 10 facilities and by far Belmont Villages was the best one I found. The Sunnyvale location was better suited for my mom's needs, but San Jose was also a very nice facility. I focused on memory care, and Belmont had a great specialized area for such patients with specialized care personnel and programs. My mom declined rapidly and passed before she transitioned into Belmont, but their actions are a testament to their philosophy and management. I put a deposit down and was going through the process of getting the necessary paperwork completed by Hospice before my mom could transition. When I notified Andrea at Belmont of my mom passing, they waived the deposit even though they had help her space for 3 weeks. They then sent a beautiful flower arrangement to the home. I would highly recommend this facility.

The community is outstanding! The people, the community, and environment make it outstanding! The food is very good for my loved one. Some of the activities include guests coming into sing and play music, noodle ball, Wii bowling, and more for the residents to choose from.

They really focus on getting the residence out and meeting people. My loved one wasn't sure about it at first but now he is very active and enjoys interacting with the other residence. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

We toured this community and the tour was very good. The staff was very friendly and shared a lot of great information. I learned a lot by touring this community.

My mom previously stayed at another facility. She was at 3 different locations at the facility due to several family moves. I am also a medical social worker and have received feedback from numerous patients. Belmont Village - Lincoln Park location is heads and shoulders above the rest. Their accommodations, security and parking are all very modern and so much easier to work with than other facilities, even during the pandemic. The facility looks beautiful and airy. But more importantly the staff are all very eager to please and assist however they can. This alone makes all the difference. There are excellent physical therapy providers, a delicious cafe that serves family/friends, hair dresser and theatre all on site. The nurses, when needed, have been very good, providing superior care. Also, other facilities talk about programming being offered but I rarely saw it happen. At Belmont Village, I see activities going on all the time.

The community is very nice. The staff are very compassionate, and do their best with the staffing they have. They worked with us and our loved one.

We are very happy with the Belmont VIllage, and things are starting to slowly open back up. Our loved one is very happy with the meals they are providing and we do think the value for cost is very good.

We did a virtual tour of this community and the tour was great. The staff was very friendly and they answered all of our questions. They had good follow-up and communication also.

My father is a difficult one but a great dad. He had a major fall a few months ago and after rehab, we found Belmont Village in Albany. I worked with [name removed] on his admission process and you couldn't have a more knowledgable and compassionate person to assist through this difficult time - especially since I live on the East coast and was not able to meet in person. Dad has been getting great care. He likes the food. He has referred to Belmont Albany as "The Mink Palace" because the amenities and the architecture is so nice.

On Feb 17 I had a Zoom tour of Belmont Village In Burbank and on March 5, my husband and I toured on site with [name removed]. We enjoyed the tour and had the opportunity to watch an activity in session. The Circle of Friends seems like a good program for my mother and this community is close to our home. We are at a standstill due to family health issues, however we continue to evaluate what seems best for my mother and our family.

Belmont Village is a premier organization offering assisted living and memory care residences. BV Lincoln Park is well-run, a place where the staff truly works to make every resident’s day as meaningful and successful as can be. Here are the precise sentiments of our Loved One with Dementia: “Everyone here is so kind.” “They (the staff) are very, very nice.” “She (assisting staff) is so gentle.” We hear remarks like this every week. Please reach out to the Community Relations Director if you are looking for a place with high professional standards of care, excellent communication, and a demonstrated caring, kind and respectful environment.

We recently moved our mom into Belmont Village and have had a great experience so far. It was an urgent move, and the whole team went above and beyond to make it happen and provide a smooth transition for her. She loves the staff and residents and couldn't be happier with her new life. Our family can rest easy knowing our mom is at Belmont Village.

I would tell others this is an excellent community. My friend likes it here. The staff is friendly, and take care of the residents. They will find residents to make sure the meds are taken by the residents. They have excellent entertainment to entertain the residents.

A little over 2 months ago, Texas went through its worst winter storm in generations. The situation was very serious with shortages of electricity, water and limited ability to drive around to acquire staples. My mom, who has been living at Belmont Village West Lake Hills for over a year, barely noticed. Belmont Village was well prepared. Even though water shut off to the area, Belmont Village made water available for drinking and flushing toilets. The staff and management stayed in the building multiple days working long hours and tackling the challenges as they came with some doing tasks for the first time. Other high end assisted living places in the area did not fare as well. I talked to several staff members after the ordeal who seem to be fondly reminiscing on the heroics done. This only happens in a place where the culture is healthy. Incidentally, I could easily write another review on how well the pandemic was handled. We made the right choice with Belmont Village.

The assisted living areas of the complex are beautiful, plenty of light and spacious apartments. On the memory care side, it wasn't quite as well appointed, but we were told there are plans to give it a 'face lift'. [name removed] was extremely thorough and took the time to learn about my mother's needs and was very transparent about pricing and levels of care.

Finding a senior living home for my mom with dementia was one of the most stressful things I've ever had to do but the folks Belmont Village were so kind and patient with all my questions. This place is so great for her. They really go out of their way to give their residents as much independence as possible while keeping them safe and engaged. My mom was a very active and social woman and as she lost abilities it was so sad to see her with nothing to do every day but now that she is at Belmont Village her days are once again full of activity and socializing. This place is a gem!

Belmont Village was a beautiful facility. They invited us to come for a day visit and we got to eat a meal there in their restaurant. The only reason we did not choose this facility was because they did not take medicaid and were privately owned, so it was going to be too expensive, but it was very enticing.

We chose Belmont Village Lakeway because of all of the above reasons It is a beautiful facility that is very clean with great food, activities, etc. They do send out newsletters and are good with keeping families updated with what is going on. Overall it is a good experience and I would absolutely recommend them.

The quality of the care is good. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is good, very flavorful. The companionship is good. It helps to be well heeled - be prepared to spend a lot of money. One thing I'm not pleased with is I receive a statement and not an actual bill. And the statement is always behind, not always reflecting my past payments. I would like to see improvement there. Also, sometimes I feel like they're lagging a little bit in responding to certain care requests. Otherwise, things have been good, and the dining room and activities are opening back up again.

It was lovely. I would move in tomorrow.
