Belmont Village

This facility is excellent! It's new and very nice. The staff is wonderful. They are a bit short staffed, but that's everywhere right now. The food is good quality and they have a good variety. They do housekeeping often and do a great job. They also do laundry once a week or more often, if needed. Communication with the family could improve. I have to initiate most of it. I have no problem getting answers, but no one reaches out to me unless I've called them or asked them first. There's a huge variety of activities. I would recommend them to family and friends.

Enjoy visiting Belmont Village Aliso Viejo because their residents are always out and about with smiles. Plus [name removed] truly knows the medical needs of the residents from his years of experience.

The staff is diligent about checking on my Dad. The Circle of Friends leaders consistently come get him to participate in their program. The Circle of Friends program has helped tremendously in helping trigger memory and encourage speech and cognitive interaction. The nursing staff consistently gets him his medications. The in house PT and OT have helped him regain balance and movement. The meals are well done and provide variety. There are several engaging presentations brought in regularly. The pals are good at checking in on him the amount that he needs. It was more at first, but as he has regained more independence he has requested less. At first he needed help showering. The pals did help, but not as often as we had thought or requested. I think that may have been due to understaffing. He did get a shower at least 1x week. He has since regained independence and the ability to shower himself. Pals take care of laundry each week. Overall a good experience.

Belmont Village Geneva Road was a beautiful place and we had a positive tour experience with them. For our situation we though that a dedicated memory care facility would fit our loved ones needs better which is why we went with another place.

I toured Belmont Village Memphis, and they were very nice people. I really liked it and I wanted her to go there because they had a Hoyer lift. She'd likely be able to stay there as her needs increased. The main reason why we chose another community was because of their shower and closet, which were huge. The shower was flat and she wouldn't have to step up into it. We had a negative experience with an unsafe shower at a previous community, so that made me nervous.

The residents and the overall transitional hospitality of the staff was REALLY good. A lot of people are coming into this situation blind and they were a huge help. They do a great job of not babying the residents who do not want to move. They really cater to the families and respect the residents at the same time during this period of time. They have a type of transitional program where you can come stay for 1-3 months and see if it is the right fit and we really like that aspect. From what I have heard when people do this, a lot of the individuals end up just wanting to stay there. They are very transparent about pricing and the different levels of care that are offered and we appreciate that. Residents can age in place, so you do not have to worry about moving them again if their care increases. The facility is very homey and does not feel institutional - I do not have to worry about her anymore and she does not feel insecure about being here. She made friends right away as well. They have wine and cheese days on Wednesdays and they bring in live entertainment - the activities are just great. I would absolutely recommend Belmont Village Oak Park to others looking.

Belmont is a good place to be. I am almost 95 and have lived here four years. I am able to do most things for my self, but driving, running errands, etc. are no longer good to be doing alone anymore. Belmont furnishes many interesting activities, exercise, plus opportunity to meet interesting people and make new friends. It has become my new home.

Belmont Village has good staff and is a good, secure, healthy place for your family member to be in. The care is good, although there is some red tape for certain things they don't do in-house, like wound care. The food is good. It's like you're eating at a 5-star hotel. They do a good job keeping everyone busy with activities, especially during the day, with more easygoing things planned during the evenings. And the cost is within range of other places in the area.

We have felt very welcomed, and the executive staff have listened very well to my concerns. They've mediated where they possibly could. The care is very good, but not as good as home care which is one-on-one, vs. assisted living where you have access to 100% care but you have to ask for it when you need it. Executive response has been very good. Caregiver response has been above average. And the facility itself is beautiful and very welcoming.

I toured Belmont Village Memphis and I thought it was a good community. We chose another community as it boiled down to location, it was closer to my home and it seemed to fit better.

Belmont Village has met all of our expectations. As so many businesses have come through pandemic, they are thin-staffed for short periods of time, but never to the point where we thought the care was comprised. In assisted living, the activities are offered but you're not required to participate. In memory care they say, "this is what we're all doing today". We need to persist to get ahold of my mom because she's always busy and out with activities! There are no worries about the level of care, safety, food, and so worth. They have helped us through every step of the process from helping asses what mom needed in terms of level of care, to helping to strategize as to how to best relocate her from the home she lived in for decades to Belmont Village. They've kept her busy; we are very comfortable with the care and the safety. There are physicians who visit the location so that gives you a lot of peace of mind. I think all of our family members feel the same - that mom is in the right place, and we are comfortable with it.

I highly recommend. I know my mom is safe, content and well taken care of at Belmont. She didn't want to move to AL but has adjusted beautifully. She considers Belmont her home and tells me often she likes where she lives and is happy.

Beautiful place. I really liked it. The distance was great. We needed special equipment, in which they did not have, Overall, I was impressed with the intake session.

They have a new chef. They have outings for the residents. The staff is great and they communicate well, and send out regular emails. It's a more modern building and updated facility.

If you are looking for a community, you can feel comfortable in placing your loved one here. The cheerfulness and compassion of the staff stand out to me, along with the way the family is treated. The communication with the staff is good. There are three meals a day served in the dining and there are options for the residents to choose from.

It is a good and safe place to leave your love ones.

We've had an excellent experience. The staff is very accommodating. And their Circle of Friends program is great for someone with early stage memory issues but not yet ready for full memory care.

Belmont Village Glenview is very caring and very responsive to questions or needs. They are responsive to any problems you may have, and they really seem to care about their residents. I'm there almost everyday, so there's no need for them to call me; but they do send out monthly newsletters regarding activities for the different groups. They mention birthdays and others general information in that announcement as well. Overall I would recommend Belmont Village to others.

This was a good community. it was too big for my loved one, and more expensive that we wanted to spend.

Out of all of the facilities that we toured, Belmont Village was by far the nicest. My husband was ready to go home and pack our things and sell the house to move here. It was an absolutely gorgeous facility. The memory care we just felt was not the best fit for my loved one and it was pretty expensive.
