It's not home, but overall my loved one is having a good experience since her move to this community. The staff has all been friendly and willing to work with us. My loved one has joined some activities and exercise programs. The meals that are served there are very good.

HERON PLACE WAS A GREAT PLACE FOR MY MOM UNTIL WE REALIZED HER CONDITION WAS MORE SEVERE THAN WE KNEW WITH DEMENTIA. UNFORTUNATELY HERON PLACE WAS NOT EQUIPTED TO HANDLE THIS. EVERYONE THERE WAS WONDERFUL THOUGH. THE AIDES WERE DEFINATELY OVER WORKED BUT HANDLED IT EXTREMELY WELL. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE THAT DOES NOT NEED MORE THAN MODERATE CARE.

[Removed] was very helpful and forthright. The facility looked to be comfortable and friendly.

The staff here are great. There is a lady that lost her vision and they do such a good job of helping her feed herself. I am impressed with how caring everyone is. The food is excellent. I am currently fighting with Dish, though, so I have had no TV for weeks. I don't have many people I can talk to and I hope when they build the new community, I could move to somewheres where there are more residents I could interact with.

I just moved into this community. The staff are always very caring to my needs. I do like that they clean the conmunity very good. I know that they need to improve some of the meals that are served. I hope that they will serve more nurtitious meals. They offer alot of activities that I do wnjoy. I would recommend the care to others for the value.

I have not yet completely made the move into this community but I have started the process. All of the staff have been so helpful and friendly to me during this transition. They have offered to help move my furniture in and help hang any decor on the walls that I needed assistance with. My favorite thing about this facility that really sold me was how clean everything was and how professional all of the staff have been towards me.

I have had no complaints about this community and the care they have been providing my mother. She has had no complaints about the food and seems to be really enjoying the different activities they have throughout day. Overall I have been very pleased with everything and would defiantly recommend this place to anyone.

Grandma loves her caregivers. We have been impressed by caregivers taking gram for walks, listening to her, & genuinely caring for her. We appreciate the afternoon snacks & fresh ice water delivered to her room. The facility is clean, well maintained, we enjoy visiting gram here.

My mom is doing very well and the community is meeting her expectations. All the staff are wonderful and they take a lot of time and care with her. They took the time getting to know her and they show care for everyone. There has not been one complaint about the meals and I have ate there, it is very good. During the week the have bingo 3 times and chair exercise with card games throughout the week. The staff are good at making sure that she gets to the activities, everyone is encourage to participate rather than sit in their rooms.

i am happy with this community for the staff are very nice. They do help with good variety of meals and she is pleasing with them meeting the needs of her food request. They do have activities for those who can participate. I like they she is able to walk around in the community with others. The try and keep the community fresh as possible I would recommend the care and the value to other families for outstanding care.

I am happy with the care that the staff gives and they are friendly with my mom. It is clean in the community as well as my mom's room. It does often smell of some odors but it is a home for seniors. The meals are good and they have some activities. I picked this community based on the reasonable price and close location for me. Everything has been good and we are satisfied.

I was greatly impressed with the friendly caring considerate interaction and would recommend this facility to anyone needing assistance with a family member.

My paretns were looking for something that was alittle more of what they were use to. This community has great staff and management who were helpful. I would recommend to other who want a smaller living space. Activites were nice with a good variety.

My husband is received great care here. The staff is outstanding and very caring. They do have alot of activities that are offered. I would highly recommend this community for other families.

My loved one really enjoys the different field trips and outings they take them on throughout the week.They have been making sure that her bathroom and bedroom is kept clean and picked up. The meals could use some improvement and some more seasoning added to them.

This is a nice community. My husband has activities to participate. He is very happy with the staff that are vert nice and helpful. The meals are very good. We recommend this community for others.

The care my mom received was for 3 weeks but I have no complaints about the care. The staff were wonderful about taking of my mom and helpful to us. Like most places, they seemed a little understaffed. I also asked to make softer foods and thicken her drinks but it seemed to not always be done for my mom. I was also unaware about the non-refundable community fee until signing the paperwork.

What a blessing it has been to work with the staff at Heron Place. They have taken a close look at our situation and have helped us with the care needs of my step-father. Their attention to details and suggestions have made this transition very easy on him. We are so thankful for the caring staff at Heron Place.

Very helpful staff. Nice facility. Great location. Comfortable rooms. Their available snacks should be improved. Very complete services including the supervision of medications. That service was more expensive than we had hoped although we don't know how it compares to other facilities. Overall, very pleased.

Our family is so pleased with Heron Place. The facility felt warm and friendly the minute we walked in the front door. The residents were smiling and some even came up to us to tell us what a great place it is. Carla [Removed] is a great example of the friendly and caring staff. She makes you want to move in. The handyman even gave Mom a hug after he finished hanging her pictures on the walls.
