Avista Senior Living

The staff were absolutely amazing, however they did not have enough staff to give medicine out over night. My loved one ended up without medication for a long period of time due to no medication being given at night. This was not okay to me and something should have been done and more staff hired to cover this gap. My only issue was the staffing but the people there were amazing.

Despite high staff turnover the atmosphere is warm and friendly. The residents are treated caringly. There's lots of great activities and support.

I did not like this community as much, it seemed very dark and depressing to us. However the tour was great and well done.

The building was beautiful. The residents apartments are well designed and comfortable. We have a great caring staff but it seems we are always short staffed and work long hours which is frustrating for all.

There have been many issues at this facility due to constant turnover. But the ones who stay are compassionate, caring individuals, and the environment is intimate and homey. There are all kinds of activities run by a wonderful activities director who really connects with the residents. Being owned by a corporation is apparent—very high fees and an absentee landlord. They should treat their core employees well for how hard they work…they are stretched very thin from what I see.

My only negative remark is that one department is very slow to respond to a request that was much needed. This has resulted in a long delay still pending with my long-term insurance company. But my relative is very satisfied with this facility. She has made such progress in her social behavior. This facility is so much more efficient and safe than the facility I moved her from.

It is very new and very clean, which is very important to me. The facility is updated. The food could be better, but I realize it's hard for the chef to please everyone. It has three levels of care, so you don't have to move if you need assisted living or memory care down the road. I think the staff are a little difficult to communicate with and can be almost rude. And one of the major issues is they say they will do something and then don't do it. But it's still one of the best facilities in the area.

My loved one really likes it here. I like that it is a smaller community, and that there is more one0on-one care from the staff. They will text, call, or post on Facebook about the residents. Trivia, games, art, news, morning walks, and more are activities available for the residents to choose from.

This community was great it was just not the right fit for what we needed at the time for our loved one.

My sister toured and she was very impressed with The Lodge. The only reason we did not pick it was because the facility itself is huge and we thought mom may get lost.

We chose Foothills Place because it seemed like it was going to be the best fit for my brothers at the time after talking to the staff members, especially [name removed, the sales person and [name removed], the head nurse. I would recommend to others looking with careful consideration as long as they meet your loved ones needs.

Meeting went very nicely. Lovely facility but didn't get to see activity because they were shut-down/in-rooms due to Covid positive for one of their team members. This facility does not offer Memory care, where we believe Mom will need it in the near future. Will not be able to consider this facility.

The community is very nice, new, and beautiful. The value is good compared to other memory care communities in the area. The staff is very friendly and they have activities going on to engage the residence. I would recommend this community based on my experience.

We chose Avista Prescott because of the good reviews that we saw and we had been there previously to visit with other family friends and it looked like a nice place that was well kept. The intake person was also very helpful. The room sizes here are good size and the facility has great views. We did have an issue with communication, the people actually giving care was good but the communication made it problematic. I would recommend to others looking with the caviat that communication was not the best.

I would recommend this community to others. Everybody seems to know each other and the community is very clean. Communication between the community and our family is very good and they keep us well informed and updated.

Very nice discussion with [name removed]. Her focus on needs and solutions was appreciated and she provided a live tour via FaceTime. Additionally, she followed up with cost breakdowns so I have all the information I need to make a decision. I plan to visit in person when I come to Tucson in mid-March.

We chose Foothills Place because they take alltec and they were taking new residents during covid. Overall, I am pleased with our experience so far. We have had some issues with communication but it was resolved quickly. I would recommend to others looking, but I would want others to know if your loved one has Alzheimer's and there has to be a lock down it may be very distressing or confusing for them.

The community is nice and it is small. The staff is trying their hardest. There is a turnover in staff. The food is horrible. The most recent lock down was lifted in the last few days. The community goes on and off lock down due to the pandemic. Franklin Place doesn't have any activities for the residents to participate in. They are affordable for the family and residents.

The staff is very welcoming and they love to have visitors. The floor plan of the facility is well laid out and makes sense, and The room sizes are good. I would definatly recommend this community to others
