I've lived here for 4 months now. The facility is always clean and the staff is very friendly. I thought the facility came furnished and it didn't but the maintenance crew helped furnish my apartment. They do need a lot of help in the kitchen I waited for 1 hour asking 4 different people to check on it and all I was getting was a turkey and cheese sandwich. People that came in after me were getting their meals. That is the only complaint I have. I would recommend this to people in fact I already have and they are thinking about it.

The director of the Syringa Place is caring and tries to do a good job. The monthly family dinners are a great way to connect families with their loved ones. It is much appreciated. Staff are courteous. The nurse is helpful.

I had a great tour and liked what I saw,however, I don't think they have sufficient nursing staff. And they charge for ever thing. Some activity but not too much. Rooms are nice. I have not ruled out this place yet.

The review and boarding process went very well. [names removed] have all been wonderful. They made me feel like my mom will be well taken care of.

This is the kind of place I am looking for. Willing to interact with the residents and care for them the rest of their life

Is a great place to live and the patient care is fantastic.

Quaint, clean and homey environment. Staff was courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. Mom thought the one bedroom apartment was adequate for her needs and she really liked the walk in shower. We have several other locations to visit so if others seem as good as this one we will have some tough choices when it gets down to making a selection.

Heron Place was really a good fit for us for my loved one's respite care. I feel it's a very expensive, and we did have some issues with the medication management program there, but overall, the staff were really sweet and were excellent at giving my loved one the TLC she needed. [Removed] was especially helpful to us. I loved that Heron Place was in a convenient location for our family, for my loved one's friends, and for church services. The church van could easily come pick her up. Heron Place was clean, welcoming, and homey, and I felt secure knowing my loved one was getting the care she needed there.

Overall, I feel my loved one's experience with New Beginnings was a good one. They have nice, friendly staff members there, the place is clean, and the food seemed to be pretty good as well. I would recommend this community to others.

While looking for a place for my loved one we were drawn to this location because of the level of care that was provided, all the amenities, and how safe and secured the place is. There are a whole bunch of activities given such as bible study and fitness classes like senior Zumba. It is a bit expensive, but I would recommend them to others.

The staff is extremely friendly to residents and visitors and the staff has been consistently patient with my mom as she struggles to adapt. Before she moved in they had got the apartment into great shape. There was new carpet, paint, and it was clean. Also, all the common areas are maintained nicely. I identified a maintenance need, and the maintenance man was there within a few days (not immediately because I'd stated it did not need immediate attention) and noted that he had already identified the problem and had the necessary part on order. My mom seems to enjoy the food (she isn't complaining, which she would if she didn't like it) and I ate in the dining room for several meals and I found the food tasty but I know I'd gain weight if I ate there routinely. I noted that the staff all work at meals to ensure that new residents are not left out, so when they arrive at the dining area a staff person greets them by name and will take them to a table with a vacant seat and introduce to the people there, facilitating getting to know people. I think they steer the new person away from less friendly folks. They have activities for the residents, and the activity manager [Removed] is particularly nice. I have noted an activity that we'd been told about that isn't actually offered, which is group walks on the greenbelt that is a couple of blocks away. Perhaps I misunderstood what I was told, and this was instead an ad activity organized by some of the residents (and not happening anymore). One thing I particularly like is they allow residents to place some personal item(s) on the door or adjacent hallway wall, or item near the door. For someone like my mom, who suffers from memory loss, this is a great aid to being able to find her way around Garnet Place on her own and not need assistance to get to and from the dining or activity room areas. They also allow things to be hung from walls and ceiling in the rooms so that you can really personalize it, no restrictions noted on hanging things. I can say the experience thus far is extremely positive, and I have hopes that my mom will settle in well.

I toured this community when I was trying to find a place for my friend and wound up speaking with [Removed], who is the manager. It wasn’t overbearingly fancy. It was very nice though. The grounds were fabulous and very well kept. The facility, when I saw it, was absolutely clean. If somebody had enough money and was able to partake in some of the activities that they provide, I would say it would be great. What I did notice is the amenities are many and you don’t see a lot of residents taking part in them. The facility itself is just a bit on the smaller side and cheaper in price. We ultimately went with a home care option instead.

When I toured, it was a really nice community and our tour guide was terrific. The rooms are clean and looks like a nice facility to stay in. If my Mother was more independent it would have been great for her. They just didn’t seem to have the facilities or ability to take care of a person in a wheelchair. If you’re using a walker, it would not be a big deal.

I toured the Windriver Place community. It was a nice and clean community. The staff was friendly. I that it was too small of a community for my parents. I thought it was also overly expensive.

We toured Syringa Place. The staff was friendly and they gave a nice presentation of their community. It was a clean and well-kept community. We chose another community that was more in-line with our budget.

This community was very lovely it has a nice view of the mountains. The landscaping is lovely nice areas to walk and sitting areas that you can enjoy the fresh air. The staff is very nice appears very professional. It didn't appear they offered a lot of activities to keep the residents busy. Inside the community appeared to be clean and well maintained.

My mom and her cat has been adjusting well. I am pleased with the staff so far. Her room is fantastic, it has a great view of the mountains. The transition has been very good. There were 2 things important when picking a community. 1) I needed to be in close proximity to where she is 2) Finding a safe and good environment. The financial aspect is good, we locked the rates for her room and board. If her dementia progress, they have a memory unit which means we would not have to move her again in the future. So far it has been a good fit.

Mom was only here for a 2-week stay but from what I understand it went well. Mom did some of the activities there and enjoyed the staff and the other residents. She liked the food no complaints. I would recommend the community.

My mother in law was doing very well here before getting ill but she is starting to recover slowly. Prior to her being sick, she was doing the activities and social events and she likes being around the other residents.The community is on a smaller size scale which is a better fit for her not as many people so it is not as loud as some others. The caregivers are super nice and sweet. The food is good.

I thought they were a nice and clean community. I did not see any problems and the person who gave me the tour was on time and professional. I was just looking for a place that was convenient for me to travel around.
