I toured Atria and really liked how friendly and lovely all of the staff members were. The facility itself was not as open as we would have liked and felt a little crowded.

The community is very nice and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The activities are great they have so much going on for us to da. I would recommend this community to others based on our experience.

It's very nice. Other people who have come in with me to visit can't believe how nice and clean it is. Atria Maplewood Place has been very, very careful about Covid and the necessary restrictions. Now those restrictions are loosening up, which is good. They're very friendly, and everybody seems to be very nice. They also offer plenty of activities.

My Mom has been in Atria for almost 4 years. I visit her in Texas about 4 times a year. The facility is very clean and seems to offer a lot for the residents there. My mother is 88 I speak to her several times a week and although with a bit of dementia I can understand some of her concerns. So based on conversation here are some suggestions. Hold a movie night each week but, play movies that are more to date . Start taking them out on weekly outings. Take them shopping once a week. Hold happy hour events Friday evening., set up a bar and make it let them feel like they are out of Atria. Perhaps do it on the patio, and bring in entertainment. I would encourage greater attendance. All in all I think Atria is a good safe place for my mom. She just requires a lot of social stimulation. Also, I recommend better case management services to help with transition to next steps and perhaps an on duty nurse on the weekends.

It is a beautiful high rise. The apartments shave recently been renovated and are spacious. Initially the food was very good, and now the food isn't as good as my loved one first got there. There is a lack of communication and responsiveness from the staff to the family. The caregivers seem to be doing a great job. The nursing staff isn't available 24 hours a day. They don't have coverage morning to night. The nurse is inconsistent with the time they are here. If your loved one needs more care with nursing, I would be concerned with a loved one being here with those needs.

The Sales Director was engaging. They even gave us cupcakes as we left. The staff was good. The drawback was the community wasn't as new and the staff wasn't as a diverse as we had wanted.

I would tell others it is in a good location that is near museums, theaters, and shopping. If your loved one is one who won't take advantage of all the services, this may not be the community for them.

We are so happy our loved one is here, this community is really working for her. The cleanliness of the community is great, and everyone there has been extremely nice. The meals have been on of the biggest challenges, they don't have menus for those with dietary restrictions so sometimes it is difficult for our loved one to pick and choose what to eat. The activities are still partially reserved, but they do have board games and happy hour once in awhile, we are hoping they really open back up. Also we moved our loved one in over a weekend, and there was no one there to show us the ropes so maybe they could have a little better orientation process.

I would tell others it is a nice place to go. It is in a central location in Stamford. It is an expensive community. They have exercise activities, singing, movies, bingo, board games, and more for the residents to choose from.

Our time has been during the pandemic. It is a beautiful place. The people are super friendly. The community doesn't have doctor's on staff. I've had to hire additional staff to assist with the care of my loved one.

I chose Atria Carmichael because I needed more care than I was able to do on my own and they were able to help here. The studio apartment is a lot smaller than I thought that it was going be, so I moved to a 1 bedroom. The meals here are good, we get to choose off of a menu and they are chef prepared. There is a lot of friendly residents here for people who want to socialize. I would recommend to others looking to check it out.

Everything is pleasant. I haven't had any issues except they're a stickler for the rules. But every community has to have rules. And they're on top of everything. My loved one likes the food, but other residents we've talked we've talked to aren't a fan. In the end I think it just comes down to preference. The staff are all friendly and knowledgeable, and they all treat my loved one well, which is the most important thing.

The staff is just great, very friendly, very helpful and overall accommodating. We did keep the community two 4's, one reason being the disposal in our loved ones kitchen is not working and it seems like nothing is being done about it, and the meals. The meals look delicious, but sometimes the meals get mixed up and our loved one gets something he did not select. However, all in all its a good experience, it is exactly what our loved one needed. The community is in a great location, and super easy for us to come visit.

Our family were able to have a virtual tour and our experience was good. The took us around the rooms, and the lady who spoke with us was very nice and answered all of our questions. However, we just were not able to get a good feel for the community only seeing virtually.

We chose Atria Park of Sierra Pointe because of the location of the facility, it is very convenient to family members. It served our needs for what we were looking fort at the time and the pricing was a factor as well. The apartment are decent size, he is in a 1 bedroom and he has a full working kitchen and the bathroom and closets are good size. They offer other layouts and styles of apartments as well. The residents here are very friendly an helpful, especially to new residents. I do think that the dining room could be run a little more efficiently. Overall it has been a great experience and we feel he is safe and well cared for here.

The community fits are purpose. My husband is very happy here. The food service is the problem which is the reason for my low score. The service and communication with the residents on where to eat could be improved. They keep the residents busy with all the activities they have to offer. I think this is great for the residents to be busy.

I would tell others location, location, location. Move in, however, select your apartment very carefully. The inside of the apartments are all the same; however the outside will vary by view and the size of the patio. If you like the outdoors, select the apartment carefully, and your view. There aren't a lot of activities that are on the younger side of life. The activities don't have a lot of variety and this may change after the pandemic. The food is very good and very monotonous . Lots of fresh fruits and veggies, low salt and sugar. There are a lot of residents that complain about the food. It would be nice to have variety of the food and this would help the residents with the food. The grounds are beautiful. They have a koi pond. There are mature rose bushes, trees, and the gardening is well attended to. It is a pleasant place to wonder around. If you like a beautiful garden this is the place to come. If you want to grow your own garden, there is one on site. On the downside about half the people in independent living have either full time care takers, or have some type of memory care concerns. I would have expected it to be a different level of independent living here. My review is based on my less than 6 months experience.

The food is good and presented in a very nice way. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There are so many things happening during the day so people can stay busy or not. As they please. My favorite activity is the creek walk every day.
