After leaving. Recovery nursing home I stayed at Atria for a couple of months until I was able to go home

The value for cost is incredibly high, but the memory care unit really stood out to us, it is very nice. The reason this community gets 4 stars instead of 5 would be because of the communication. Since our loved one has dementia we agreed to not put a phone in their room, and that when we needed to reach our loved one the staff would bring them the phone. However it is becoming a problematic issues because either the nurses are not answering when we call in the time frame they gave us, or they answer and tell us they will call back but they never end up calling back.

It is a good community. The staff and residents are friendly and the value for the money is good. Some of the activities that are available are: a movie theater, some social gathering, laughter therapy, trivia, exercise programs, and more for the residents to participate in. The food is good or very good most of the time.

The community is neat and clean and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Overall so far so good I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

This is a great community for your loved one. The staff are friendly, and they have been able to make it a smooth transition for my loved one. The staff are amazing! Some of the activities have been limited due to the pandemic. I wish they had better walking grounds, especially for my loved one who likes to walk outside. The tram isn't available for store runs. However, the community is open to new ideas for activities.

Entertainment every week is excellent, so is the arts and crafts. Movies are usually good, some are rather old. Food could be better.

Staff and residents are friendly and very willing to help when needed. The meals can be improved with more non-meat options. low salt and reduced sugar options. The salads are usually very good - fresh! The grounds are well kept with lovely flowers and plants. The building is usually clean but the hallway carpets remain dingy even after deep cleaning because they are old, badly stained in certain areas, and quite worn out. Activities need improvement - more variety, better quality entertainment. Transportation service - extremely helpful! Overall I am pleased to live here.

This is a beautiful old facility staffed by wonderful, caring employees and full of friendly residents. Everyone works hard to make this a nice place to live. Because this is an old building there are always problems with the utilities and they charge a lot for the ambiance

My loved one is very happy here and we are happy also. The only thing I am upset about is my loved one was supposed to be weighed daily per the doctors orders after hospitalization and that did not happen. I have also communicated that I want to be informed whenever the doctor sees my loved one and the results of the visit and I have never gotten that. I have suggested my loved one is supposed to have a reduced sodium diet and that is not always followed, but my loved one does love the food. The activities seem to be increasing and they do encourage them to participate. The staff members and the residents here are all very friendly. Overall my loved one loves it here and we would recommend, but just make sure things are followed through on.

Some of the things that stuck out the most was the overall layout and design of the community. The aesthetics are very nice, the place is well decorated. There are a lot of big windows that provided natural light making it a bright and warm atmosphere.

We love the community. Sometimes there are challenges with staff in the dining room The staff are great to work with though. Overall, love the amenities that are included in the monthly price for our loved one. We were able to decorate my loved one's room the way we like it.

I would recommend this community to others based on our experience. The food is very good and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We are pleased with this community.

Love rooms, environment, dislike interdepartmental lack of communication. Residents, caregivers, chef-cook. Good and not good items and problems

I would recommend it. Like all places, you have to be aware of what's going on there, and you can't just turn everything over to them. You'll want to communicate with the staff and your loved one, which is just normal process. At first, it took a little while to get all the care service details sorted out, but everything is good now. They weren't letting us know when our loved one was rejecting certain services she was signed up for, and we just wanted to know so we could talk to her about the importance of each one. But that's all ironed out now. The front desk has been a little less friendly, but overall the staff we've met and have interacted with have been friendly for the most part.

The people are nice, and I've made good friends. The food's not so good, but oh well. I would say it's average, nothing to write home about. Some days it's better than others. But I think they have good intentions. It's a nice, safe place, and utilities are included.

The Atria is a clean multi story facility located on Hwy 121 feeder road which, from the front of the property, was a bit noisy. Since food and activities are important to my mom, I viewed both the Activities guide and menu and found them to be very appealing. The apartments offered spacious kitchenettes with a lot of counter space and storage but, although there were both studios and one bedroom apartments available, no units were available on the first floor. The property had a nice outdoor area for sitting and gathering with a covered porch and pavilion. The base price of the apartments did not include laundry service which would be essential for my mom. I decided against this property due to the lack of first floor apartment availability as the second floor that I toured was too quiet and isolated for my moms preference. In addition, I feel that the base price for a unit should include laundry in order to make priced more competitively.

We chose Atria Maplewood Place because it was close to where his house is so he is familiar with the area and he would be more comfortable there. The apartment sizes are on the smaller side, he has a studio and we are looking to maybe upgrade. They do always have activities going on for the residents. The staff members here are all very nice. I would recommend to others looking.

The community is very nice, and the staff is very nice. The only issue is the food. My loved one does not like the food. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

Our loved one felt that this facility was too stuffy. It was just not the right fit for what she was wanting.

Atria Marina Place is in a good location and they have a lot of activities.
