Atria

There are a couple of things that made my decision very easy, once my family and I visited Atria Valley Manor it was not even a question that this was going to be a great fit for me. My house was well over 2,200 sq ft, and i was not ready to move into apartments as small as 800-900 sq ft, but what I have now is almost 1,300 sq ft. It has a two bedroom which i used for crafting and if someone wants to spend the night, I have a complete kitchen, and they are like small home with very good sized patios. It is a smaller place so it makes getting to know everyone fairly easy and quick. Sometimes the food is not the best, the chef here can only make 1-2 things they want and everything else is dictated by the corporate office. This community is a very good transition for someone who does not want to burden of taking care of a house, yard garden, but also someone who is not ready to completely down size to a small apartment. If i had one small complaint is that not every apartment was a washer and dryer unit, so I have to walk outside anytime I want to do laundry, but the walk is very pretty, the landscaping around the area is beautiful appointed.

I was able to tour the Atria Bell Court Gardens and it is a lovely community, but the apartments were pretty small and it was more expensive.

It's not a very fancy facility. But it's very well kept. It's low-key and small, with just 80 apartments that are not fully occupied at this time. It's a very warm, nice, and welcoming place. It's not one of the very ultra fancy places, but she couldn't handle one of those. This is the perfect place for my friend. We had gone to many places that were recommended to us, and she felt very comfortable once we toured here at Atria Glen Cove. It was smaller and warmer as opposed to fancy and glitzy. And that was what was very welcoming to her. She says the care they give to her is excellent, and the food is excellent as well. I think it's a very good value. She is deliriously happy, which makes me feel the same.

I am a resident at Atria. The food is always tasty, the staff is excellent, the community is always very clean and my apartment is okay. Everything is convenient. I like the staff. Donya and Betty D. are sweethearts. The other residents are interesting people although, some may not be able to hear you because they have hearing difficulties. I really like the activities and the daily chronicles. There are puzzles in the daily handouts and, I love the quotes that are in there

My loved ones are very happy here and I would recommend you check out the community for your loved ones. I would like to see the housekeeping of the individual rooms to be improved for my loved ones.

The staff is pleasant and caring, the food is good and the activities are well spaced and varied.

I have a wonderful time living here at atria. enjoying the different activities and love to take walks around the building with the beautiful golf course view. Love the Thursday night live entertainment

Food is not good. Staff is wonderful

We have been able to eat a couple of meals at Atria and overall they are quite good. They are doing good with their activities, the hair salon is now opened once a week. Our loved one really enjoys when the community brings live singers and entertainment, and when the weather is nice they will have happy hour outside. The value for cost is expensive, but we do think the value is there and worth the expense. Compared to other places we looked at it was much less. It has a nice porch out front which is peaceful and beautiful landscaping. The community is pet friendly which was a huge plus. The executive director at the time of our loved ones move in was absolutely fantastic.

Very nice community and very clean. The food is horrible and they are understaffed all of the time.

The community is neat and clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They have lots of activities for the residents to participate in and the food is good too. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

My loved one is very happy there and that is all that counts. My loved one is not happy with the food and that is one thing she has complained about.

The staff is great! It could be cleaner in the common areas. The halls are kind of dirty. The only thing I can complain about is the morning meal is only 1 hour and easy to miss.

I would tell others that it is a welcoming community who is accommodating as long as there are no medical issues. Overall the food seems to be acceptable. The community doesn't provide any special dietary restriction diets, and this is a big drawback. There are outside concerts, exercise, social events, and more for activities for the residents to choose from. The engaged life program director is fantastic.

It is an average community. The staff is friendly, and the residents are getting the required care. The community itself is clean; however, my loved one's room could be cleaned more. It seems like the housekeeping could be improved. The community does seemed to be understaffed.

The menu here is Kosher for everyone. There were a lot of city buildings, too much of a city feel for my loved one.

For the same reason I choose it, there are some weaknesses as well. The community seems to be a little more hands off, which gives the residents more freedom to choose their preferences. I wish they were more engaging to the residents and it would be better if the staff could further engage the non-engaged residents to get them engaged into the activities. It is clean and beautiful community. The food is very good. This makes it feel like a respectfulness towards the residents and community. My loved one loves their view of the lake.

Our family was able to have an in person of the Atria Draper, and it was extremely loud so we did not think our loved one was going to like it there. Our loved one would rather be in a place that is more quite and calm

This is a very good option for non assisted living. This allowed our loved one to focus on enjoying their retirement years. The sense of community and socialization with the other residents is the best thing about the community.
