Not sure I would rate any home a 5 overall. In general I've been quite happy with Atria Willow Glen and mom's experience. Excellent activities and a strong social community. Majority of the facility is independent living. Very nice garden and grounds.

Atria Cinco Ranch is a great independent environment for senior citizens. It's in a great location with regards to services around it - shopping, etc. Recently the turnover has been a little high, which is concerning. And my mother says the food selection could be improved. But otherwise, it's a good place to be. It feels safe and secure. And the apartment is incredible. It has plenty of room, with a nice view of the park area and swimming pool.

The people at Atria Evergreen Valley were incredibly friendly. It was a nice facility.

We picked this community because of the location. They let me know if there is any issues, they are very responsive to my concerns. I would recommend to other families.

Generally the staff is caring. The people are friendly. My loved one seems happy there. Before moving in, she was alone and immobile. And now she's walking on her own up to the second floor where her apartment is. From that perspective, it has been a positive experience for her. She's engaged in a lot of activities and seems happy. The main issue is the food is terrible. They changed food providers, and the quality has gone down tremendously - to the point that it's inedible. And despite everyone complaining about it, nothing is being done.

We picked because, it was a more welcoming-homey environment and location. They can improve on value for the money and quality of the meals, as well as honoring what they advertise. Overall, I would recommend to other families.

This was a good community with nice staff. I just felt it was too big overall for our loved one.

The tour at Atria Park was fine. It was a newer facility, but that meant the staff hadn't been there very long. However, everybody was very nice there. Mostly I wanted to keep Mom near where she lived so her friends would visit her, which I think is important when considering a place.

Other than just general communication improvement our family has been very satisfied so far. We are confident that our family member is in a good place and that they are receiving the good care that they deserve.

I love the community. The food is terrible. It's expensive. The communication was very good, about my loved ones health care. They could improve on the timeliness of providing medication. The rooms are small and it's challeging for those with disabilites, and it's not that accomodating.

Atria Harborhill is working very well with both of our loved ones there and based on our experience we would recommend them to other families.

CONS: The main con for my mom and many others is the Food Quality. Even after numerous meetings and requests, the food consistently is served lukewarm or cold. This is a big deal to the residentsl! Also, most staff in dining room are new to serving. There has recently been a HUGE price increase which goes above and beyond inflation and increases at other facilities. As an aside, read the fine print as every little addition (laundry, shower help, etc.) as it greatly increases the cost. Apts. lack proper storage. PROS: Cleaning staff, van driver, front desk workers and salon owner are kind, friendly and loving, Activities Director works diligently and with a warm smile to keep the residents happy and engaged (not easy with my mom). Lots of great activities: Local high schoolers as well as professional entertainers, board and group games ,card games, puzzle centers, happy hour at the pub, coffee time at the cafe, local trips, etc. Beautiful facilities. Mom is happy here.

The staff is wonderful, supportive and caring. Housekeeping is also good. The food could use improvement. We picked this community because, of the friendliness of everyone, and the staff seemed to really care. The place is amazing. Overall, I would recommend to other families.

I fell in love with the bistro on our tour of Atria Walnut Creek. Other than that, it looked like a decent place.

This is a very nice facility. It looks very elegant. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help. They have several activities all week: concerts, Happy Hours, social events, etc. The dining room has really nice meals during the Holidays. They provide housekeeping, it's always very clean.

It has overall been a positive experience so far for my mom at Atria Bethlehem. Everything has been great - the customer service, food service, cleanliness of the facility, etc.

They are very friendly. The do well with, the overall care giving and support of the community. They need to improve on their billing system/process. Overall, I would recommend to other families.

Our Dad has been in Atria for [date removed] now my brothers and I are very pleased with the living conditions and dad seems to be very happy with the choice of Atria Summit Ridge. All the staff has been very helpful and courteous to our Dad. Many have gone above and beyond to make sure he is happy and healthy.
