Because my loved one has dementia, the challenge has been staff being accessible for family to talk to. You have to go through the front desk, they do not have direct lines. It was not clear who I talk to about what. The onboarding experience I felt that they dropped the ball. There was a lot of hand holding until we signed the contract. Then when we moved in, we were kind of left on our own. There were things we expected that did not happen. I felt like we had to ask a lot of questions and figure things out on our own. I looked at many different places and am happy with Atria Sunnyvale. It has a smaller footprint. She loves the location of her room, it is ideal. It is smaller and not overwhelming and easy to navigate. My loved one says she loves her room, the staff, and the food. She is very happy here. The executive director is a very kind person and really loves what he does. Their maintenance person assembled all of my loved ones furniture and we really appreciated that, we did not even have to ask.

It wasn’t easy to place my mom in any assisted living. She had her routine and preferences and I wanted her to still be able to make choices. [name removed], the executive director at Atria Evergreen follows thru with our care in order to personalize her care. My mom wanted help with showers in the morning versus later in the day.? Done. Mom wanted raisin bread for breakfast? Done. Mom’s carpet needed steam-cleaning and her bathroom thoroughly cleaned? Done. Mom wanted to personally speak with [name removed]? Done. From the front desk ([name removed], [name removed], [name removed]) to the maintenance department ([name removed] and [name removed]), to the med team ([name removed], [name removed], [name removed], [name removed]), to the caregiving department and to the housekeeper [name removed], everyone has been very caring and accommodating!! I am so grateful for the Atria team, that they are able to help my mom get comfortable in her new home. No place is perfect but the staff at Atria Evergreen are kind and full of smiles. There are various things I like about living here. The care staff is dedicated to their work and they seem like they enjoy it and genuine to you. The activities have been enjoyable for me since they offer a variety of things to do and various places to visit. The food is generally excellent, the chefs and cooks are responsive to reasonable requests. I give my hat off to this team.

We really like the high quality of the facility and the meals are just fabulous. The downside to Coterie Cathedral Hill is that they are still pretty new so here is a lot of information that is not provided and it is not very organized, we have to constantly follow up with things,

Overall things are going pretty good and I am very pleased. I think it is one of the best in the area. The staff that deliver medications are very nice and that is a big plus. She also just likes having their company. It is pretty expensive and there are not many activities provided. I would like to see more of those so she can get out and about more. It has been a very positive experience.

Atria at Foster Square may not be perfect but it has been a really good experience. The cleanliness is absolutely amazing and the staff members really seem to do a good job reaching out to the residents. We gave the quality of care 4 out of 5 stars even though the care is good it does seem like at times there is a level of confusion on who has to decide amongst the staff on what happens regarding a residents care. It does not seem like they are highly highly trained but there is a doctor that comes around if/when there is a problem. The meals are pretty good there is adequate quantity, it is not the best food ever made but overall it is good. They seem to fill the day with plenty of activities and the staff members are very interactive but the residents with their age and health state may not be all that interactive - they certainly make an effort though.

Atria Park really is family orientated - the staff really do treat the residents like one big happy family and we felt very comfortable having our loved one here from the beginning. Our loved one is on level one care because they are still able to do the basic needs for themselves and handle their own medication with our families help. They are experience some early Alzheimer's (short term memory loss) and that is it. Our loved ones room is right in the middle of everything - all the activities, the dining hall and close to the director's office - with that being said we wish the staff would prompt our loved one to come out of their room and go to the activities, and go eat lunch and dinner in the dining hall. With what we are paying we wish they would do this a little more consistently and be more encouraging - that is the reason we gave it an overall 4 star

I picked this community, because of the friendliness, services and food. They overcharged me, and lmy oved one was not there a few a months. They need to be more honest and transparent.

My loved one had a short stay here due to health issues. The community is beautiful and has a secure garden area for the residents to be in. If you can afford this community it is wonderful. The rooms are spacious. The staff truly care about the residents. I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones who are ready to move and is early on in their journey and can then transition here.

The staff is warm and caring. However, I'm not thrilled with the head nursing staff. The communication isn't great. Same with the doctor on staff. But the care workers (aides?) are so kind to my mom. They work so hard and need more help. One main positive... because it is a small facility, everyone on the staff knows every patient. I would recommend Village Green , but I always recommend to be involved too. My mom has visitors 5-7 days a week. They also give a discount for military spouse.

The facility itself is really beautiful. The residents and staff are very friendly. The food is excellent. The location is very good. Of all the places I've toured, the residents were the most social, friendly, and happy here. People always talk to me and are friendly when I visit, which I was really struck by, as well as with the creativity of the menu.

I toured this facility and it's ok. It's clean, the staff is very friendly, beautiful inside. It just felt more like a hospital or rehab facility. I didn't get the homey/cozy feeling we were looking for. I did get to try the food and it was very good!

Atria Tinton Falls was incredibly helpful in a very stressful time. We had to move our loved quickly from a rehab facility, and they worked well with us to make that happen. Their staff are very knowledgeable and helpful, including their leadership team. They walked me, as a layperson, through the process step by step, and I'm very grateful to them for that. Their admissions administrator and executive director were incredibly helpful. Immediately through all of our interactions, I felt very comfortable that I was providing a new environment for my loved one that would keep her engaged mentally, keep her physically healthy and safe, and allow her the social interaction that she really needed to thrive during this time of her life.

Friendliness = 1-5( varies by person). Staff = varies 1-4. The facility is very clean and the salespeople are very good. My dissatisfaction comes from the nursing staff and poor communication between staff, families and outside providers. Unless my mom's case manager is on site, things fall apart rapidly. The nursing staff seems overwhelmed, provides no feedback to families and does not follow through with routine matters. My mother was discharged from hospital over a month ago and even after repeated requests, I have not received her discharge summary. The billing is almost always wrong, which is frustrating and time consuming to resolve.

Our loved one is not overall thrilled about the meals we aren't sure if its the quality but our loved one says the food just does not taste good. They do seem to be very satisfied with the activities they have going on. Based on our experience so far we would recommend the Holiday Maplewood Place to other families.

We decided on Village Green because of the overall family friendly atmosphere, we have a big family so if we were to go to visit, there were many community areas where we could congregate and that was important to us. We have had issues with the quality of the care provided. The help does not really come in regularly or introduce themselves to her, so that has been an ongoing issue. We are thankful she is more independent, but she is almost getting less care than when she lived with me at home. It is just the small things that they could use improvements on. I would definitely recommend Village Green to other families.

I had a really great tour experience at Atria Kinghaven. I really loved all of the staff here. There were 2 main reason we did not choose this facility. The first one was because they do not have a front desk person there 24/7. So if my dad needed something, he would have had to leave the room to find someone. Also that means we would have longer wait times to be buzzed into the facility. The second reason was because they do not offer memory care here. I don't think that my dad will need that, but just in case he did I did not want to have to move him again. Other than that it looked like a great facility.

Atria Hertlin Place is a beautiful facility and very nice. I really like the green scapes. It is difficult for my mother to be here because I am not able to get medical aids and she needs more help. They did just increase the rent 20% which was pretty shocking. I felt that they were very good with the family and super hospitable. I was able to stay with her in her apartment when I came to visit. They did just add something called Atria Home Care and they are working out the kinks with that. It looks clean in the main areas but they do not have enough staff to keep up with the weekly room cleanings. They hired outside cleaning services to come in so they are definitely trying, it just does not happen on a regular basis. The maintenance department has been great. Good with maintenance. It is a very good place for independent living.

One of the good things about Atria Grass Valley is just how attentive and accommodating the staff members are to the special needs of the residents. Based on our experience so far we would recommend this community to other families.

We chose Atria Plainview because I just liked the overall feel and look of the facility over others that we had looked at. They offered a lot of good services such as having a van to take them to church, doctors appointments, etc. Aside from really just liking the place, the location is perfect. It is central to everyone in the family. The only real issue with have with the facility is the food. My mom complains about it and said the other residents feel the same way. The rates have just increased over $1000 and they are saying it is due to inflation. Overall we have been pleased and would recommend them to others looking.
