Atria

The community has a very convenient location for outings with the residents. The studios were pretty small. The care has been excellent. Everyone is friendly. Overall this has been a good experience, and come check the community out to see if it would be a good fit for your loved one. There were issues with the safety of the residents while showering.

Our family had an in person tour with Atria Crossroads Place and the community itself was very beautiful and the staff members were very welcoming and friendly but they were not equipped to handled our loved ones catheter so it was not going to be the right fit for our family.

I happened to be in Hurst visiting my daughter and Atrica staff contacted me. My daughter and son in law were off and we did tour. They were running a special and apartment was coming available on first floor that I needed for my dogs. Nice looking facility, appealing from outside. Friendly staff.

My mother lives at Atria Park of Glen Ellyn. The staff is warm and friendly. The food is fine, smaller portions and less variety than my mom would like. The activities are not always what is stated on the calendar. The health care has been very good.

Overall, a very nice place. Clear and open communication. Caring staff. Nice facilities. We picked this community, because of the location for my sister and I to easily visit was one of the major reasons, and of course reputation.

Since my visit is very short, i can’t evaluate lots of the individual item listed. My general impression is this is a nice clean and friendly place. The staff is very helpful. Hope to revisit again, and be able to participate some of the activities and mingle with the residents a little bit. Sylvia

One important consideration for my husband and me was management. All the management staff members here are extremely approachable. They know residents by name and will stop and talk with them whether in the hallway the dining hall or their office. They listen to the concerns of residents and tried to approach those concerns as quickly as possible, always keeping residents updated about what is happening. Communication and management skills here are extremely outstanding.

I love it here,and have made a lot of new friends. I have enjoyed myself here. I would recommend to others for their relatives. There is all kinds of activites. They have a great memory care facility.

Dining has been a problem. They keep getting a new chef. Some days it's great, some days it's horrible. We've had meetings here and discussed that with the staff. They are working on it for the better, and I feel like it could eventually be a 5/5. One of the most important things - and I'm sure this occurs at many facilities - is the cost is extremely high. They do annual increases for everyone at the same time (as opposed to when your contract is up for renewal), so you can have an increase before you've even been there a year. This year's increase of 15% is astronomical, and you have to fight to bring it down. Cleanliness petty good, and the woman who cleans my apartment is great. The other residents and the staff are very nice. The grounds are beautiful and suitable for walking. The facility is in a great location in Alpharetta. It's pet friendly. The activities are really good. We have an indoor pool with a water aerobics instructor, which I really love. One of the nicest things here is there is a washer and dryer in the apartment. After looking at about five different places, Atria North Point was definitely the best. They just need to work on the food and pricing.

The people are really nice and helpful. I think if they had a more computerized system or portal it would be easier to do follow ups. They do need to work on improving the meals. They have very few vegetarian options. All stuff they are working with me on though so I appreciate it.

My loved one has adjusted quite well to her new surroundings since moving in. It's the best known senior living facility in the area. We picked this community becasue, the overall value for monetary cost was better than others in my view. I would recommend to others.

I thought it was nice. It was smaller/less residents than Oakmont. Not as pretty. We chose Oakmont because that is where my mom lives and it's what she knows, better weather and likes her doctors. Atria Hacienda was less expensive. I didn't check out the larger Atria down the street. I believe the larger one has memory care. If/when my mom needs to go to memory care I'll check out the larger Atria.

It is perfect for my loved ones as they just walk and do low impact exercises. That it is a good value with friendly staff. It is more suited for less active seniors. If you want a full gym, swimming pool or a tennis court / pickle ball court you will want to look at other places. I would recommend to others.

We toured Atria North Point and it was a very nice facility. Everyone was very friendly. The cleanliness was good. The activities offered seemed good, also. The pricing that we were quoted was great.

Our family had an in person tour with Atria Kennebunk, and the tour was just okay. The tour guide had a lot of good information but we found him to be a little invasive Also the community did not give us the warm and fuzzy feeling we were looking for, and it was way more money.

Office staff has been wonderful and very easy to work with. However, very often it seems like they are understaffed when it comes to those who are caring for the patients.

We toured Village Green and it was a very nice facility! It was definitely more expensive than some of the other places that we toured. They also offered more than my loved one needed, she's not a very active senior.

The facility was clean and nice, staff seems friendly. My two disappointments were regarding communication about cost and medication administration/cost.

The staff at Atria Canyon Creek is excellent. Meals are great. I have no complaints.

Atria Westchase was a nice community. It was more than we wanted to spend. They also had a very long waiting list for the memory care unit, and we need something quickly.
