It is expensive but The facility and staff Help to make you feel at home. We would recommend this community to others but it depends upon the income level and expectations of others.

The staff are wonderful, there are various activities every day, in the food is delicious. The only reason I didn't give it five rating is you just taking me a couple of weeks to adjust from living in my home.

I was there only two weeks but it is a pleasant community my only complaint is the awful food served in the restaurant.

Staff is all comforting. Yes, I would recommend Atria Maplewood Place to other families based on the experience so far.

I love that there is onsite physical therapy! And the practioners there are very capable and nice. The administrative and Medication management staff are friendly and helpful.

Nice setting, great staff and complete modern facility. My Mom thinks she is at a nice hotel. Been happy for over a year now.

The staff is very friendly, food is average.

Atria was one choice. However due to higher medical needs went with [community name removed]Would recommend. [community name removed] is smaller and we needed to use Hoyer lift which they will do. Care staff is very good and attentive to my dad's needs right now

Staff is great. Food is tasty (according to my mom). I can't comment on the activities. It is clean and the residents seem happy.

When I went to pick up my husband’s clothes, the majority of them were inside the dirty-clothes-container, in the bathroom, not clean, waiting to be washed. It was a bad impression to me. I didn’t complain at the time.

My friend [name removed] is very happy there and is getting good care. I have had to remind them to put compression socks on [name removed] and to help her brush her teeth. There have been a couple other things dealing with her laundry that I've had to ask about and stay on top of. They have always responded kindly and made improvements when I have asked.

That's easy of all the facilities in this area that is by far the best one overall. And we looked into every one of them

What stood out the most - Overall it has nice staff, it's clean, and there are a variety of activities. Food unfortunately isn't all that good

Overall, it's been a good experience. The staff is very friendly and knows everyone's name. The coordination of my mother's medication from rehab to assisted living was very poorly done.

My husband has been in Atria Center City since May or June. Although, he wants to come home, I am very pleased with the facility. I wish there was outdoor space like [community removed]. There are restaurants in the area which is a blessing. The resident are mostly interesting and diverse. Aside from running out of wine etc, we enjoy Happy Hour most nights. Atria is not perfect but close to it.

It is a good place. It is well maintained. I have a large apartment. The staff is friendly.

We did a search of four different facilities and atria was the clear winner in terms of overall impression and programs. It came across as more resort, like upscale, hotel, and although expensive.

They have painted the interior of the facility in the last year, as well as put up solar panels. My mom particularly loves the outdoor garden space and the weekly scenic drives. It has been a positive experience overall however, there has been some turnover in staff. For example, the sales manager who I initially worked with went out on maternity leave, and the activities coordinator has turned over once or twice. The caretakers have been very consistent and very helpful to my mom, which is important I would say The food or rather the meals have been enjoyable for my mom. The one thing I wish was different is that they paid more attention to diet being a factor with dementia for example eliminating sugar drinks like soda and juice. They also give the residents dessert after lunch and dinner pretty much every day so that's like a little thing that I consider but maybe wouldn't be as important to someone else. Overall, it has been a good decision and a positive experience.

The staff we're friendly, patient and helpful. My mom was a unique situation where she became too much for the staff to handle when her Alzheimer's progressed and she became violent. As a result, she had to be hospitalized. Overall, they were supportive. [name removed] gave great advice and [name removed] was always running a program on the 4th floor. They offered lots of daily activities and read the daily news with the residents. Christmas dinner was very good and they made sure everyone was included in the festivities. The dinner served in the dining room downstairs was exactly what the memory care residents received. We brought my mom down to the dining room and Christmas carols were being sang with someone at the piano. They truly care for their residents. -even the challenging ones

the administration is very responsive to families regarding needs or concerns. They know my dad really well! I literally get a text response 5-10 minutes after an inquiry.
