What our family likes the most about the Atria Collwood community is the responsiveness of the staff members, the safety checks they do, and the different activities and outings they do with the residents.

My loved one loves the food. The food is delicious. The grounds are very well kept and peaceful. We picked this community because of the affordability, location and the amount of services that they provided. I appreciated the friendliness of the staff and they made the transition with filling out paperwork smooth. It's a really nice place and I would recommend to others. And I have recommend to others.

This is a cheerful, bright place. Almost all of the staff is super friendly. The two bedroom my parents have is really nice. BTW - [name removed] was awesome throughout the entire process - and it was a long one.

Everyone was extremely friendly and courteous . The only negative point was whether it was an accounting question or the nurse getting back to me regarding general questions was a little slow and took several attempts to get answers. The reason my mom and I went with Atria was because it was a new building. The staff was extremely friendly. Food was pretty good and price was reasonable. Look, there's not a facility out there that has a perfect score and I would definitely refer Atria to my family and friends and I have.

I am a resident here. Dining has a wide range of choices including various fruits, salads, fish beef and chicken. They have happy hours several times a week at Atria's private pub which serves beer, wine or non-alcoholic beverages. Shopping in our Atria Bus enables us to go shopping near or far. The Bus is also used to transport to Sacred Heart on Sundays and also other denominations. A few times a month various singers, piano and dancers come in to entertain. They sing country and western to classic love songs and attract large resident audiences. A trained nursing staff is available around the clock. Each apt. is thorougly cleaned once a week and each floor has a laundry room for residents' use,

I really like living at Atria Hacienda. I like the activities and how helpful the Engage Life Director is. The food is very good and the care staff is very friendly and helpful. I wish I could live back in my own home but since I am not able to I am glad to live here.

Mom picked it. She was very familiar with Atria Briarcliff (and some of the others) and it's where she wanted to go. The facility is very nice, not new but well maintained and comfortable. The staff is the "ace in the hole" for Atria Briarcliff. Mom loves them! They are friendly, helpful, and kind. The services are excellent, but expensive. There are plenty of activities if she wants to participate. And she feels the meal menu could use more variety.

Our family had an in person tour with Atria Covell Gardens and we also really liked this community and the tour but the location was just to far away from our family.

Atria is a very nice Senior Living Community. Dining room and other facilities are clean and very organized. Good food. Pleasant staff and friendly residents.

Everyone I've interacted with there has been genuinely kind and cared about the well-being of my loved one. The thing that stuck out most about Atria Lafayette Hill over others that we looked into was the fact that it felt more so like an apartment building and less so like a medical facility - we really liked that.

My parents are getting used to the routine. They seem happy. So far so good. It's nice but sonetimes I have to remind them to do things. It was smaller than some others and seemed more personal.

The tour with Atria Rancho Mirage was okay, but I just did not get the same feeling that I got at [facility name removed]. However, I was impressed that they offered assisted living as well as memory care all under the same roof!

I have lived at the Atria Bay Shore for over a year now. It is a comfortable, secure, safe location. The staff is very nice and accommodating. My one bedroom apartment is spacious and accommodates all of my needs. The proximity to St. Patricks Church is perfect for me as I Catholic and attend mass at least twice a week. Main Street in downtown Bay Shore is a short walk from the Atria and the bandshell is a great location to enjoy outdoor musical entertainment in the summer months. The Atria staff works hard to keep residents engaged, entertained, active and save. The only thing I do not enjoy is the food. I think the chefs and kitchen staff try hard but the food is never hot when served. The cookies/desserts and salads are great but the main meal is never hot when served.

There are certain employees that have a warmer feel than others and truly appear to care. [name removed] at front desk has been amazing! I also clean when there but garbage collected daily. They need to make sure toilets work properly to dispose of all waste. Again done staff if quite warm n welcoming without a prompt others stay quiet. It's my dad and no one is perfect. I do believe they need more training on patients with higher needs. The staff needs to offer the help. When I say my dad needs...they do it BUT they should be trained on how to help without being told. That's a world of difference for the patient trying to keep control and dignity as well as family feeling secure if the care. Some days the meals are better than others. Mistakes happen but many meals are over cooked and since he's on hospice n gets meals in room and has trouble swallowing meat needs to be cut into much smaller pieces not just cubed and again help to cut if too big needs to be offered. It is sad that my dad will not partake in any activities but I do see there are plenty of options. There are always hidden or confusing up charges but that's everywhere! My one big gripe is medicine...some covered at hospice ,some not, someone says they called it in but hadn't, it became a stressor and had several meetings with [name removed] and [name removed] about medicine... all was worked out thankfully and they were glad to help... Just like I said it was stressful n sad to get all meds and their overflow set straight so he doesn't run out but at this moment all ok

The staff at Atria Hillcrest are all extremely friendly. Room for improvement: I do think that it would be nice if they offered more excursions (activities off the property) for the residents who are there.

This was a very nice community and tour. Actually Atria was gorgeous, but economics precluded us in choosing this community. We found another community in the area for our loved one.

My loved one was a resident at Atria Cranford. [name removed] was terrific. The first gentleman that I spoke to was rude and obnoxious. Communication was not that great. I didn't care for the nurse who did my loved one's evaluation. And the fees were very high for a person who stayed in her room. I'm not sure if I would recommend this facility to others, depends on the care one needs. I didn't like the scale that they used. And they should consider accepting insurance.

There isn’t a lot of choice for a senior community that is attractive to active and independent New Yorkers. Atria Forest Hills tries hard to provide that space to enable resident engagement - either by being involved in organising their own activities, suggesting activities or indeed just attending them. I had the pleasure of staying with my mom for her first week at Atria and met wonderful residents and employees - everyone was welcoming and genuinely kind. The transition from living in your own home or apartment to having help with cleaning and maintenance can be daunting and the team all understand and genuinely respect every residents individual experience. It will be an adjustment for those that want to pick and choose different mealtimes each day (there isn’t a price reduction for eating less meals) but the benefit of set meal times is the social engagement and true friendship that blossoms over a meal. In my experience the Atria team have been exceptional and gracious.

1. Just because you have Long Term Care Insurance don't assume you you will be accepted for its benefits. 2. In my case it feels like I am living in a hotel. 3. Try to talk with as many staff members and other residents before making a decision. 4. Eat one of their meals.
