My daughter and I visited Atria El Camino Gardens for lunch and a tour. One gentleman who has been living there for a short time even showed us his apartment and shared his experiences there. He seemed quite happy. We asked to see the Memory Care section but forgot to ask about the activity room and other amenities so we didn’t have a chance to see them. I noticed that the heating/air conditioning units for each room are wall units that can be adjusted by the resident. Although that’s nice, I don’t like the constant noise of the fans.

My mom is in Life Guidance (Memory Care). I would recommend pushing for Assisted Living with a lot of care, before memory care. It is very restrictive.

Staff is excellent they really care for their residents and do a great job of providing daily activities. Multiple choices for food for breakfast lunch and dinner served in a small setting 2-4 people per table. They also give residents snacks during the day or between activities. The room sized easily accommodate a bed dresser nightstand and sitting area. We had a wonderful experience and they were great providing emergency respite care.

Atria Stamford is a well-organized and well-designed assisted living facility, in my view, and one worth recommending, with a caveat. The facility management is very particular and precise about residents on the dementia floors having the ability to stand from a chair or bed with only a hand up, so that no staff member or members are required to lift a resident in any way. That can only be done in the facility by home care workers from an outside agency, making the overall expense prohibitive. Dementia patients must also feed themselves, or be fed by workers from a home care agency. Given that caveat, which perhaps only bears on potential residents with dementia, the facility is well-planned, with helpful and friendly staff who are quite experienced, good food, large rooms, interesting activities particularly musical., multiple dining rooms/bistros, a gym of sorts, hair salon, etc.

The facility is very well appointed and well kept. The staff is very friendly and the administrative staff is very open to suggestions and listens actively to issues and resolves them expediently.

Like most places, they be a little understaffed, but the folks were friendly and helpful; seemed to care.

Food is limited cooking staff limited cooking skills ,after being assured they would adjust safety bars at their expense for my height, they have re-negged on that commitment and informed me that I would have to bear the cost.

Place and people are very nice, but we were charged [name removed]for a service she didn't need and finally took it off, but still billed prorated amount. I would recommend to others because it was less expensive than previous place my aunt stayed at and many people seem happy there.

Value is good for the cost. It consists of a huge social community, where socialization is easy. They go.pn outings, ect. Unfortunately, I'm not sure how long we will be there, as Dad is going to need full-time care. Dad complains about the food being not flavorful. I, personally, have not eaten there. They have a couple of staff who have not returned my calls, or did not coordinate his meds correctly, or got a bit of an attitude with me.

The Staff overall is the biggest plus. The turnover with staff in the kitchen has resulted in some minor issues (outages of favorite items like sausage at breakfast or chocolate ice cream) very minor and short lived but changing anything is a talking point for 90+ year old parents with nothing else to talk about.

My aunt and mom were together. They are ok nice enough. Pay more attention to you when they want to get you in but in general they are good. They have to give residents a choice for breakfast. My family hates waking up early getting dressed and going down for breakfast. They have bought up to them but they would rather start their day a little later. We got them Keurig and bought breakfast stuff for them to have breakfast at their leisure.

The staff at Atria Palm Desert are very accommodating and friendly. My sister seems happy and has made friends. Her unit is clean and has a balcony which is nice. So far, we are pleased with the place.

Staff has been great! Very kind and helpful. She wishes there were more activities. She’s not a card player. They have a new chef. So, we'll see. She has a 1 bedroom plus, so it's quite large. Lots of storage. She had a bit of a hard of a hard time in the beginning, but is finding her way. She said yes, she would recommend it!

Having a bus weekend travel trip is my favorite reason of being a resident here at Atria on Hudson. Next year is the sharp increase in the monthly fee.

It is very good..my brother likes it... it is clean, food good, etc.

They didn't offer modified soft diet which is why my father couldn't go there and my mom had to leave. The staff was generally great, from sales to the cleaning staff.

So far things are going well with the Atria Cranford. My mother is adjusting well. The staff is pleasant and they seem to be doing a good job of communicating.

Nice 1 bedroom apartment, good food, nice amenities, good activities, nice refresh of common areas. A little pricey, no theater room, still having trouble with getting the apartment clean for move-in and have been pay since end of September.

The grounds are great and very well maintained. Staff very friendly. There is really nothing they can do about this, but there is no way to avoid walking up/down a ramp or stairs to get to the main activity floor. This can be somewhat of a challenge for people with walking difficulty.

It is a good facility. My mom is well cared for and seems to be doing well. I would recommend to others. Considering that there aren't that many options for memory care in the area. The aides on her floor are very attentive and really care for their clients.
