Transitioning a parent to a facility of any kind is not something most of us are prepared for. It's a bit exploratory in process and there will be hiccups along the way. On the whole, Atria has much to offer: thoughtful clinicians who help match the best level of care for your loved ones; a flexible kitchen staff who accommodate the best they can and members who engage your loved ones with activities. There is a library, a theater, outdoor patio, a piano, a place of worship, yoga... all in the heart of a safe, suburban neighborhood.

A few hours after touring the Atria Kew Gardens facility, my mother decided to do a 30 day trial stay at Atria. We were a little surprise with her decision since my mother initially said she wanted to have the ability to cook and live in a different borough of NYC. Two weeks into her trial stay, my mother decided she wanted to stay at the Atria long-term. Her decision amazed all of us! In my mother's words, the facility is "nice", "comfortable" and "a little expensive". My interactions with the staff have been friendly. I would also say they are accommodating to your needs. The following rating's reflect my mother's opinion. Please note my mother does not believe in giving perfect scores anywhere since she feels there is always room for improvement and no one is perfect.

This community appeals to the needs of the most residents as possible. The community is kept very clean, and the staff and fellow residents are very friendly and fun to be around. The activities are quite varied.

We picked this community because of the availability at the time. They had an immediate memory care opening.

They have everything Mom needs so we just knew. It was the first and only place we looked plus they had a room ready to move into immediately and Mom needed their type of care sooner than later.Mostly positive but the recent change in Director has caused some unease on Mom and her friends as making changes when your trying to settle in is a bit frustrating. Mostly good though.

It's a nice facility. The staff and residents are friendly and helpful. We picked this community because of the location. I would recommend to others.

What our family likes the most about the Holiday Maplewood Place is the value for cost and the caring atmosphere. We would recommend this community to other families who are looking for a place for their loved ones

What we like the most about the Atria Walnut Creek community is the overall friendliness of everyone there -- all of the staff members and the residents living there. Based on the experience we have had with this community we have already recommended them to others and will continue to do so.

My loved one is currently a resident at Atria Summit Ridge and overall her experience at this facility has been good so far. The cleanliness, friendliness and staff have been great. The care services, meals and activities are good. The value for cost is okay. All in all, based on our experience with Atria Summit Ridge so far, I would recommend this facility to others.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming at Holiday Maplewood Place. I will say that there was not a good formal move-in orientation and we were randomly asking for things that would have been helpful to have information on up front. The food is not as good as it sounded before we moved in. I think they need more healthy options and more fruit offered. The laundry machines are quite outdated. They do have a few new machines, but most are old. Maintenance is very helpful and responsive. The facility is lovely and updated and bright and cheery.

Our family had an in person tour with Atria Hillcrest and overall the community as well as the tour experience was really good

I think the Atria Stamford community would be open to more activities if they are available. I like the fact that there is no reserved seating at meals. Our apartment is outstanding. I am always amazed that they run out of food stables such as breads or cereals or even fruit. Food service is perfunctory. However, if you need a well maintained assisted Living community with a dedicated staff you should consider the Atria Stamford.

I was able to have an in person tour at Atria Evergreen Valley and it was a nice tour experience and less money but just not the nicest out of the communities I had toured.

Neat and very clean building. Food is very good. Activities are both fun and meaningful. Outings are frequent and fun. Entertainment at least once a week with good variety.

Overall, my experience has been very good except dining has gone downhill. It was very good until, recently. Director and staff couldn't be better.

My area of disappointment with Atria Park of Great Neck, was in the misdirection that they were able to handle all things medical. Not true. I needed to hire additional aides to make sure my mom's needs were addressed.

My loved one is currently a resident at Atria Larson Place and we've been somewhat satisfied. The cleanliness, friendliness and staff are great. The care services and value for cost are good. The activities are okay. However, my loved one dislikes the food. If she was able, she could give the chef lessons on how to cook!

It is nice living here.

Our family had an in person tour with Atria Willow Glen and we really liked the staff but I didn't like the surrounding area. Family members would have to use street parking and when we were there we saw a lot of unhoused people doing drugs. I felt uneasy.

Atria is very clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly and courteous. The meals are prepared and presented well. Effort Is made for special events:ie the Labor Day BBQ. There are activities available every interest. I'm disappointed in costs.Ex: I was told by [name removed] that meals could be brought to room by caregivers but this is not the case. A $15.00 charge per meal is charged by Atria!! A 25.00 charge for each guest joining for a meal?
