Atria

We are pretty happy with Atria Del Rey. It is everything we hoped for. Dad is fitting in quite well there. There is nothing I can think of for them to improve on. We are just thrilled about this facility.

Jennifer was very helpful at Atria Hacienda from the first moment. The place is like a 4 star hotel, very nice and fresh. The food is excellent, a key point for those who really look forward to their meals. Lots to do: arts & crafts, movies every day in the charming movie theatre (with popcorn) and a nice beauty salon on site. Nice bright atmosphere. The best place we saw in the desert and my parents are doing well there. Location was very convenient to shopping, their church and doctor's offices. I do not have to worry anymore about them. Living all the way in New Jersey, this is a relief. A Place for Mom made the experience very easy. I said what we were looking for, and I immediately got calls from 5 or 6 good options. We went to look and 3 days later made our decision.

Very attentive to needs of residents: excellent menu, and activities to keep them mentally and physically healthy. They keep family members regularly informed about their loved ones condition, and about ATRIA activities for family members.

Atria Valley Manor I one of the best places. The units are spaces and well kept. The food is exceptional and choice are great. The people who work here are friendly and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Residents are very nice and welcome you and tell you that you will enjoy your stay. Lots of activities I hope she will try to get involved in. My sister in law likes the food and the helpful staff.the apartments are very nice and good lighting.

Atria Covell Gardens is a pretty amazing place. Everything has been really good there. The only issue we have had is that my grandmother has not been very involved in the activities. I don't know if they are doing a very good job getting her involved and encouraging her along those lines. But other than that we are happy with the whole process and she really loves it there.

My mother stayed at Atria Hillcrest for about a month for respite care and they were very good. It would be a different experience if she had her own room and was settled there permanently, but it was good. She enjoyed the food, the activities, and everything.

It's a very difficult thing to do, to remove your parents from their home, down sizing their cherished possessions and facing up to the fact that they need more help than you can give. I toured 4 facilities in my area and of those four the Atria was the most beautiful and upbeat place. There is an energy there I did not feel in the other three places and even the residents were super friendly and all were Emily each time I stopped by. The staff are wonderful and caring and the activities are varied. Before, my parents were at home with an aide. There was no one for them to I teract with. My mom had stopped setting her hair and putting on makeup and my dad slept all day. The only place they went was to doctors appointments. Now they get up, go to meals and sit with other residents and converse, They are getting the meds they used to forget to take and they look forward to the day's activities. On the weekends, the place is full of family who visit or take their parents out for the day. It's not a place people just dumped their parents. So for us, it was the best place. It's bright and sunny, immaculate and full of life. There is no perfect solution when your loved ones start to decline, but it is peace of mind that I was able place them at the Atria because their life has changed for the better. They give them a reason to get up in the morning.

The only thing they really can improve on is the service for dinner. My mother-in-law has had to wait a long time. It is very good, but it is a long time to wait if you have to wait over fifteen minutes. That has happened quite a few times.

Mom really loves it now. She is very involved with the activities. She really likes her apartment. It met her needs when she decided to leave her home. The first couple of days she felt alone. She had questions and no one had visited her to answer the questions. It would be nice if they could do a welcome visit from the staff. Once she got use to it and met people she was okay. She is really enjoying herself now.

Everyone is so helpful and nice. The best customer service I have seen in a long time.

My mother is had some trouble adjusting to this move. This staff from the housekeeping team to the activity Cordinator's have been amazing. With their tender care and understanding, I'm absolutely certain that she will be like every other resident I've talk to you in this facility and love it.

Atria was a nice place. I would rate them highly. It didn't end up being the best place for us. We were in the memory care, and it just wasn't where we needed to be. It's clean though and the staff is friendly.

My mom has been at Atria for 2 weeks on the memory care/ life guidance floor and I have visited unannounced every other day at least. They did a good job listening to my requests and generally remembering mom's quirks. The aides have been excellent at getting her involved in activities and helping her socialize which is awesome. She has been out to lunch, to a ballgame, painted a picture and done karaoke to the oldies ( it's amazing how many residents knew the words to "how much is that doggie in the window"!) Some of the aides are truly excellent with a gift for dementia patients, the others are at least trying and are cheerful and kind. I sat in on a staff training session with David Troxel, Atria's corporate expert on dementia care and found his " best friends" approach to make sense and have tried to incorporate some of it into my own interactions with mom. Out of the several other places I visited, this has been the most respectful of mom's needs and abilities and so far I am very pleased!

The Atria is awesome...it is spotless, the staff is awesome, it seems that they know everyone by name and greet them as such, they are more than helpful, they go above and beyond when a request is made. Food is great, and dining is always in a clean, well lit, friendly environment, never paper, always linen on the tables. We are very comfortable !

My loved one was here for a while. Her stay here was helpful for her. She was starting to get out and about. There weren't any problems with how clean it was, or how friendly the staff is. She told me that she loved the desserts. They did a pretty good job.

Everyday they put a schedule of the days activities by each residents door. The food is a good variety and very good. Can't say enough good things about Atria Campana Del Rio I am so glad we chose this facility. The staff is fabulous and the facility is very clean and well kept. I would not recommend any other facility only Atria!

While helping my 91 year old father make a transition to independent living in this new community, we couldn't be more pleased. The staff, administrators and residents have already set the groundwork for feeling like a family. Atria provides a variety of activities that meet all your needs. You can choose to participate in all of over 200 choices or just a few depending on your interests. Be prepared to stay as busy as you like and make new friends. Their ambassador program pairs you immediately with a knowledgeable resident that instantly makes you feel welcome and safe. We highly recommend Atria at Willow Park.

This is the one of the few memory care facilities that I could find. I was very concerned about my mother's adjustment to such a different environment. The facility is clean, there are activities and they provide services I couldn't provide at home even with a home health aide. My only concern and this is not limited to Atria is the cost, which is quite expensive. It's not that the necessary services aren't provided, there's 3 meals, snacks, all exits are protected with security pass codes, laundry is done and there are various levels of help depending on the condition of the resident, but it is very expensive. I looked at cheaper facilities, about half the cost and none of these services were provided. So you have to spend every cent you have to ensure your relative is in a safe clean space or spend less and worry every moment that they aren't with you.

Very friendly. The place is nice and clean and staff is ready to help.
