They are outstanding! It's very clean, and everyone is really friendly. There is one person at the front desk that could stand to use some help dealing with people, but everyone is nice. They are very attentive and responsive to us. They have lots of good activities. While not every single meal is on target, for the most part it's good, and they have lots of fresh fruits and vegetable, and lots of variety. They really are a great place, and we are happy with them.

The food is great, except for breakfast rolls. (Or maybe Mom keeps them in her room too long.) Staff is extra friendly, especially the front desk guy . We like the ambiance and the cleanliness. I like it that the residents change their door décor to suit the season and holidays. Mom says there are too many dogs. I think the Atria works extra hard to keep the hallways clean.

They are doing a good job. I don't have any concerns or complaints or anything I feel like needs to be done better. It's clean, and the staff is friendly and attentive. It's working out well, and my loved one is happy.

My mom was at Mission Hills for one month, and she had a good experience with them. The staff did a great job and we were very pleased overall.

I think it's a wonderful place. My parents are happy and the other residents are happy. It's clean, and the staff is friendly. They are attentive and responsive. The food is excellent. My only comment is for the on-boarding process. There was a little of a delay getting things set up for the move in.

This new home of mine is conveniently located to business places I need to use. I find my new home is quite comfortable and the staff etc are all very helpful and in a friendly way. I enjoy our meals and the way they are served. I like the way the mailboxes are set up...no going outside and in all kinds of weather to get our mail. I enjoy the beauty of Atria and the friendliness of the occupants. Glad I chose Atria

Our interaction with the entire staff was extremely beneficial in our determination of this facility for my mother-in-law. Highly impressed with the amount of activities available and the obvious dedication demonstrated by the staff.

They do a very good job. It's very clean, and the staff is really friendly. They are very responsive to a call button they respond with in about five minutes depending on how many are going off at the same time. The staff seems very consistent for the most part, they get to know the residents really well. Nothing but consistent care. The engage life staff is really energetic, and very attentive. No complaints about the food, I like the food, and the waitstaff is pretty consistent and they get to know you right away. My only minor criticism there is that there are a lot of games and she isn't much of a game player, but she does enjoy the musical entertainment. We like that it seems to be just the right fit for her, not too big not to small.

Our loved one has only been here a short time, but other than a few minor snags things have gone very well with Atria Rye Brook! Physically the community is gorgeous. It's bright and spacious, and the common areas have are well laid out and comfortable. And the staff, from the sales staff to the aides, have all been very friendly and easy to work with. They also do a great job with the food, from the meals we have had they are definitely above average! And, as an added bonus, residents of this Atria have access to the pool of the gated community next door!

This turned out to be the place for Mom. After much resistance she agree to try while we went on vacation to make sure she was taken care of. The food is AMAZING, the place very very clean and most importantly every one of the staff that we met and worked with is indescribably FANTASTIC. They are helpful responsive attentive and most importantly caring and wonderful. Some of their own family members have lived or are living at Atria Tanglewood. The residences are warm open and inviting, something Mom was extremely concerned about. But when we visit it takes an hour to say HI to all her new friends and she's only been there a couple of weeks. Mom quickly integrated into the routine, the ambassadors and guides the first week made Mom more independent and active than she has been in years. They go out into the community so they are not isolated to the location, but believe me there is no need to leave. The best analogy I can make is it is Villa Roma all the time. Plenty to do if you want, no stress if you don't want to . The choices are endless bingo, games, news and views, shopping, they have a luau, social night... The best part is family is warmly welcomes at ANY time of day or night. They are inclusive of the family anything we come. Grandchildren and children alike. Definitely worth looking into if the location and cost fits into your plans!

I think this would be a good fit for my mother-in-law. I would give it 4.5

My husband & I toured this facility last month when looking for a place for his mother. The facility is very clean, bright and cheerful, the personnel are very friendly, and the residents looked well cared for and happy. Our tour guide was very knowledgable, gave us information that was extremely helpful, and arranged for the nurse to evaluate my mother-in-law. Because my mother-in-law has developed dementia, we decided on a small care home that has a maximum of six residents. However, we would have chosen Atria under different circumstances, as we believe the care and atmosphere would create a great place to live.

Everyone has been incredibly helpful during the move-in process. I find the atmosphere to be very relaxing and elegant. It is very clean which is important to me and my mother. I would love to live here!!! Unfortunately, I'm too young. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

On the 22nd of July 2014 I went to the Garden Club, Excercise class, Food thru Film w/ Chef, and the Creating Art class -- with my mother in-law (81 yrs. old) -- she skipped the Exercise class so I went to check out how it was done. Every staff member was helpful, encouraging, and made the class fun and inviting! Had dinner with her in the evening and the food was good as all the meals I've had there.

Upon entering Atria we knew it was the place for our parents to live out the remainder of their lives. The staff is wonderful --- the residents are more than welcoming with nothing but praise for their home. If a resident remains in their room all day it is not because of a lack of scheduled activities. The dining room is staffed with exceptional individuals both in the kitchen and in the dining area. The food is restaurant quality at every meal. The final selling point was the monthly fee with no outrageous entrance fee required and a 30 day termination if needed. Overall we would highly recommend Atria to anyone seeking independant or assisted living for their elder family members.

My 89 year old mother lives in the Life Guidance area at Atria Marland Place in Andover, MA. The level of care is very high and we feel comfortable about her well-being. There is a strong familial culture in the entire building and most of the aides work on at all levels, including traditional assisted living and life guidance. Our mother is known in the building and genuinely cared for by staff and other residents. The facility is under extensive renovation, but it will be gorgeous when completed. the food has greatly improved with the new executive director. I highly recommend this facility.

I used to worry every time I wasn't with my brother, who is suffering from Alzheimer. He has very limited income and so I thought we had to put him over in Greenville, or Rockwall, as we thought that was all that he could afford. I live in Frisco and another brother lives in Irving and it made seeing our brother, on a very limited basis, simply because of the distance. I called "A place for Mom", and they helped us find Ateria. The grounds are beautiful and the staff is just out of this world, so caring and competent. I see a spark of light and a smile that I hadn't thought I would ever see again in my sweet brother. I'm so grateful to Ateria and a place for Mom. Thanks to Gayle Birdwell ( a place for Mom)

My cousin enjoyed her 4 month stay. It met all of her needs.

Staff is very friendly and the place is spotless. My biggest complaint would be the dining room experience. While the food is good, the variety and service don't compare to what you would expect for the money. Many items listed daily on the menus are never available and most are usually not served at the proper temp.

It’s very good. Atria is right up there. I was very pleased The food is good. The hours for their meals are seven to seven. You can eat any time. The service in the dining room is excellent. They staff makes it a point to know everyone’s names.
