We pulled our mother out of memory care at Monark after 4 months. At different times we found her running a temp and with edema - neither time had they treated her. Cleanliness of rooms and hygiene of residence is definitely not a priority. We also had issues with staff not following the documented care instructions - simple things like use of a bedtime adult diaper. Monark seemed to be betting that our family wouldn't be visiting Mom much and wouldn't notice their lack of care. Staff literally told us they weren't given adequate training. Someone in housekeeping also told us their instructions about laundry service was not consistent with what prospective residents were promised. It was a hard decision to leave Monark, however, change is difficult for memory care patience. Six months later, we're very happy with Mom's current facility.

My loved one was previously a resident at Fairview Park. The administration REALLY didn't care, communicate or try to fix problems. It was terrible. Staff didn't care. Promises were not met. Medications were not given correctly. The food plan was not followed. I removed my loved one pretty quickly.

Very poor facility, all the way around. Go somewhere else for your loved one.

My loved one was previously a resident at Legacy Ridge at Alpharetta and the overall experience was terrible. I only gave ratings of 1 because a rating of zero was not an option. I would not recommend this facility to others. This facility has been declining for awhile now.

The facility was beautiful and the staff on the floor that we dealt with on a daily basis was wonderful but when we were facing the end of my relative's life, the management was absolutely horrible to me. I would never recommend Legacy to anyone and have, in fact, discouraged a friend from putting her relative there!

I was told deposit was fully refundable. It has been 2 months but no refund. My check was cashed on [date removed]. After many phone calls to marketing and the business office. Not even a return phone call. And no refund!!!!

Based off of our personal experience, our family does not recommend The Goldton at Spring Hill. Medication was mismanaged amount many other issues that we had while here.

Don't put your loved one here. Staff is constantly changing. If they can't treat their employees well enough to stay that is a clear indication of patient care. My mother was sent out to the hospital after a fall requiring stitches. She was sent out early in the morning, returned to the facility that afternoon. When I went to see her she was asleep in the bloody sheets she was found in that morning. Zero care at this place.

My loved one is currently a resident at Legacy Reserve at Fritz Farm and the overall experience has been terrible. The friendliness is okay. The cleanliness and quality of care are poor. The staff is okay. The food is good.

I think that I would rate Heartis memory care management as the worst memory care management that I've experienced. It has some good employees but overall, because of the management team, it isn't a good place for seniors who need memory care at all. The only good thing about Heartis was that compared to [facility name removed], there were less hospitalizations due to UTI's and it was acceptably clean compared to [facility name removed], which smelled like urine about 5 years ago when my loved ones resided there.

The reason for this review, is to hopefully prevent another family from going through what this facility put my family through. This decision is one of the most difficult decisions a family has to make, and our experience was the horror stories you hear about what takes place in these facilities: meds, staffing issues (high turnover), the food, barely any activities (that actually take place), this facility is a total misrepresentation of services they claim to offer. If I could give this place a zero, I would, it should not be allowed to keep its doors open. This facility was all smoke & mirrors, and not trustworthy for the care of your loved one. [name removed] specifically.

I think this would be a nice place just need a new director and a few more new people...Mrs. [name removed] really doesn't know how to talk to anyone ,she is very disrespectful and Unprofessional...I wouldn't let my pet stay in this facility

I left a basket of clothes for laundry, it was picked up, the basket was returned, all the clothes were stolen. I complained, made a list of what was in the basket and no compensation was ever received. Every meal served has as a staple a cheap carbohydrate, either pasta or potatoes, or bread in some form so the food is dramatically overpriced.

I thought The Bluffs at Greystone was awful. It felt like I was at a very cheap Holiday Inn. It did not look like it was set up for senior citizens at all - it had nothing inviting or warm about it.

It's a beautiful facility but only good for those who don't require a lot of help. They promise everything but can't deliver. They ask us to be patient but while spending up to 8k/month there is no help. My father had to feed my mother. I saw a man leave the dining room because no one was there to feed him! So he had no dinner! My father didn't get breakfast a couple of times because there was no one to help my mother. The nurse and manager do not return phone calls or emails. We are very disappointed.

After only 3 weeks we moved our loved one from the memory center of Legacy Ridge at Alpharetta. Unfortunately, the caregivers found it acceptable to let him sleep on the floor. I found him in bed as late as 2:00 p.m. lying in his urine from the night before and missing his meals and his timely medication. It was a huge mistake to entrust the care of our loved one to a memory care staff that lacked knowledge and training with individuals diagnosed with dementia and Alzheimer's. We found the memory staff very unprofessional and not a good fit for their position or any position that required patience and understanding. I pray for those left in that environment!

I assumed that memory care directors and staff would utilize strategies such as therapeutic fibs and appropriate words and demeanor with dementia patients in their care, but that is not the case with Madison Crossings. In addition to not demonstrating such strategies, their (now former) memory care director exhibited extremely unprofessional and legally questionable behavior in the following instances: she was complicit in changing my dad's medications without our knowledge or consent; she argued with my dad about the accuracy of a complaint he came to her with; during a conference with our family about Dad, she was hostile and often interrupted us when we were talking; and she lied about incidents involving our dad on many occasions, especially to create an inaccurate portrayal of him. It also didn't seem like many staff utilized strategies to de-escalate things when a resident becomes agitated or to notice patterns of behavior and intervene proactively to circumvent agitation.

My loved one was a resident here and I would not recommend them based on how they treated us and handled our situation. While living here, my loved one had an incident and ended up in the hospital. When the hospital was ready to release him, Oakview Park advised that he needed to go to rehab first and that they would accept him back to the facility after rehab. Well, he went to rehab and when they were ready to discharge him from rehab Oakview Park said he couldn't come back. They didn't ask questions, didn't come to assess him, nothing. So we were left scrambling to find him a new facility. To top it off, they tried to charge me for not giving them a two week notice. They're the one's who refused to take him back! It was just a terrible experience and I would never recommend them to anyone.

The place is terrible. My loved one loves the food. They need to improve on communication, and the overall care of the residents. It's not clean, and they are often short staffed.
