I scheduled a tour for this community, when I arrived I was told there was no one available to give me a tour, that the guide was out sick. I rescheduled and when I arrived for the second one, no tour. I was told no one was available to give the tour. The lobby was empty and I had to wait for someone to come to the reception area both times. Not a good start so I didn't return.

It was an older facility. It was very outdated, and needed a lot of repairs, and was expensive.

Unless your loved one can really take care of themselves, I wouldn't recommend the community for early diagnosed memory care residents. The community is short staffed overall. The community promised they would be checking on our loved one every two hours, and instead it is three times a day at meal times and when medications are dropped off. The communication with the staff isn't good with the family. They aren't addressing our questions or concerns we have brought to their attention.

Legacy Ridge has some competent workers but not many. If you are independent and able to speak up for yourself then you’ll be fine but if you really need assistance with showering, dressing or eating, this is not the place for your loved one. Also , the administration takes zero responsibly for any concerns you might have and the staff is unsupervised. The admin has excuse after excuse and never admits to any wrong doing on their part. I would not recommend this facility as a true assisted living facility.

The activities director was very nice, and I liked that the facility itself was very nice. The staff members I would speak with were nice but the care takers at the community were not very nice.

I would want others to know that there were several occasions where the doctor on staff here did not return a phone call to me ever, not once in 7 months. I asked to speak to him directly because he had her on a drug that had a side effect of bleeding. 2 doctors ended up telling me she should not have been on that drug. The director said they had issues with him communicating with other families as well. My dad was on hospice and hospice did not ever show up. I called hospice to talk to them about it and they said they had everything documented and the facility never called to let them know to be there. There were also lots of discrepancies of things that the director told me and what actually happened. I do not think they have nearly enough help here for what is needed and they were unorganized. I had no trust in the facilities leadership and I would not recommend them to others who are looking.

We had issues with communication and would have trouble receiving return calls. They are good with covid updates and have let us know about any changes. I would not recommend this community based on our experience so far.

I have been disappointed with our experience with this facility, particularly the leadership. There were some very caring people there and the rooms were nice, but my mother fell multiple times. 2 times, she called me to call the nurse. Once resulted in stitches.

I would want others to know when looking into Oakview park that half the staff we signed up with are no longer there, so all the people we liked in the beginning are now gone. COVID hit and we found out that a lot of people here had it. They were not prepared for this at all. They were horrible with commutation during COVID as far as contacting families with what was going on. It has been a roller coaster, we have had ups and downs with the facility.

Nothing to say. There for respite care only - two weeks. Nearly destroyed my brother.

My mom moved into Thrive in October. When we arrived, her room wasn't ready for her (blind was broken, stains on carpet), her call button pendent wasn't given to her and no one escorted is to her room or gave her a tour of the facility. (She was from out of state so hadn't set foot in there yet). There was a schedule of meals, showers, etc. Thrive had an opportunity to warmly welcome my mom and make her feel comfortable. They did not do so.

The facility is beautiful. Good place for an active younger senior.

My family member has been a resident of Alto since it was known as Bickford, and then Charter Senior Living. We have been extremely pleased with the care given until Allegro Management took over in early 2018. Since then we are seeing a dramatic turnover in nursing and CNA staff. Wonderful gifted people who have been providing dedicated care for years are leaving. And new hires quit or don’t show up for work. I believe one of the most important things in a senior citizen’s life is consistency, especially for those with memory issues. Being cared for by someone who knows them, their daily needs, likes and dislikes goes a long way towards providing them with the ultimate quality of life. I am holding on to hope that this facility could return to its original greatness, IF Allegro Management wakes up and fixes what is broken before it’s too late.

Very short staff. nice building. poor delivery of medical attention. Only started recently ( as I understand) after one of the owners made some changes........ not for the better relatively to residents and their care.

This was not a very welcoming community, in fact, the atmosphere was one of a lock down Unit. It was very drab and dark and I would not want my husband to be here.

Most of the time the community had so many technical problems with their emergency call buttons. I didn't feel that my loved one was secure because the emergency buttons most of the times were unavailable, so she didn't have someone to assist her right away. The meals were not good they didn't have much taste to them. The community was kept clean and some of the staff were nice.

Took a unannounced visit to see Bickford on a Saturday . We were unimpressed with the two staff members we met . They were very nice, but one of them was so sick with the flu that he had no business being there under any circumstance. Outside areas of memory care had lots of stored poles and construction debris. we found the place very messy and unorganized.

We were exceedingly disappointed. We were not happy with her entire universe when she was there was being parked in front of the tv or herded in and out of the dining room activities were unimaginative and sparse. and there were instances of something grievious happening in the room and no one knew for six or more hours. We were not pleased with the food. The dining room used the same place mats at every meal and they are not washable placements. There were injuries that were not reported to us. They were giving incorrect doses of medication. Above all else never once did I see the director on the third floor the Alzheimers unit. They were in the middle of remodling the first floor Alzheimers unit. They had a few good caregivers, two or three on the night shift. I wouldn't send anybody there if it was free!

I would tell others that my loved one has passed away and I have not received the billing I have requested via email and phone call, and in person multiple times. The medication was never correct, and it took several times in person from someone out of town to speak to this error, and it was never corrected. There was staffing storages, and during my loved one's stay there was turnover of upper management in the community.

Unfortunately, Legacy has slipped considerably over the past months. Impatience, neglect, lack of knowledge and training of staff and short-staffed. Disturbing.
