Our family had an in person tour and we did not get to far into the tour, after the resident manager asked our loved one a couple question they realized this was just not going to be the right fit for them

We chose Fairview Park because they were the ones who contacted us and we needed placement for her quickly and they had availability. I gave the care a 3 because I think they could improve on communication to families on the care. It is a beautiful facility, a very pretty setting and clean. It does not have that nursing home smell when you walk in. I would recommend to others looking.

Our family was able to have an in person tour, and they did have some covid restrictions but we were able to get a decent feel for the community. We were able to see different model rooms, but our of the three communities we toured this was the most expensive.

Things started out well. They've had a lot of nice people there. We were pretty much sold on it right away. Their marketing person was terrific, as well as the people at the front desk. We were pleased when my loved one first moved in. The meals were good, and now they're not as good, so I don't know if they lost their cook. The med techs are doing double duty serving meals and cleaning up after meals, so you cant get your meds during those times. And you have to walk to a designated spot in the building to have your meds administered, which is not good for residents with mobility issues. They've not reordered necessary medication. Just a lot of issues and pushback around administering meds. They have a movie theater, but there's never any movie showings. Apparently the equipment is broken, and they say they're going to fix it. We've had a significant maintenance and safety issue that has taken a few months for them to resolve. The Executive Director hasn't been timely or consistent in returning our calls and answering our questions, which bothers me a lot. He's really a cool guy, but I wish he would get back with us better. It's a pretty place, but they've changed ownership, and we feel like communication and quality of services have taken a hit. Their price is good, but they don't keep up with things. They're always saying they'll fix things. . . The woman at the front desk is great. She's been a godsend. Some of the other staff have already left or are leaving soon. They have some activities, but nothing special. For instance, when they have an ice cream day, they just serve the ice cream, no decorations or anything fun going on with it. They don't go around and encourage the residents to join in. I truly believe it has the potential to be such a good place, but they don't have their act together right now.

This facility was very nicely laid out. Rooms were nice but they did not have a closet just an amour which took up a lot of space in the room. Also the cost of the facility was almost double the option we chose in the same county.

One of the biggest improvements we think this community could make is with their staff, and also the cleanliness only once a week is just not enough. There is no one there to take our loved one to activities so the activities are just none.

We virtually toured Tribute at the Glen. They did a wonderful job but we just didn't get the feeling that we got at the facility we ended up going with.

This was the first place that we toured and it was a shocker because we had never been inside a facility before. The woman showing us around was very nice but it definitely had more of a nursing home feel to it, the residents seemed like they needed a lot of care. It is a smaller community and the men to women ratio was lower.

They've had high turnover in the administration. I wasn't impressed with the community at first. The new Director is fantastic and has only been there for three or four weeks. If there is any issue the new director works with the families in trying to resolve the situation. The community hasn't had a hair stylist even during the reopening of the community post pandemic.

Overall the community is very attentive and gives a good level of care. They do have a high turnover in management and staff and that is concerning. They have been very with communication and keeping us informed. I would recommend this community to others.

Make sure that this is the right place for your loved one. It is assisted living, so if you're on the border between independent and assisted, then this probably isn't the way to go. But for a lot of the residents here, it seems like the right level of care. It's definitely made my life easier knowing that my loved one is watched 24 hours, and I'm completely comfortable with his safety and security here. It's a nice place, in a nice area, and I don't have worry about him here. My loved one feels comfortable with the staff. He relates well to them, and they're the ones who keep him going since he feels less connected to the residents that are differently abled than him. It's really clean inside. My loved one finds the activities to be kind of silly, for instance flower arranging, caring for babies, hitting a balloon around. He's not crazy about the food, and it's gone downhill quite a bit since Covid. They're currently understaffed. Since my loved one is pretty self sufficient, I don't feel like he's getting care sometimes when he might need it. I did appreciate that they got their residents vaccinated quickly. I'm happy that he's safe, and I feel better having him here than having him at home.

The rooms at Madison Heights community would be a five out of five, and the food they serve is very good. We would recommend this community to others if they are not far along in their Alzheimer's stages.

It depends on the condition of the person going there, Most of the residence there seemed happy with the community. The room's size was great and the food was ok. I would recommend this based on the person's condition.

We chose Madison at Clermont because of the location and they had availability when we really needed it. The room sizes here are adequate. I would want others to know that I do not think they take much attention to the residents. Communication was also an issue with them. At this time, I would not recommend.

Before entering my loved one into this community there were a lot of promises of taking care of my parent that has not been fulfilled. Communication skills is their weakest point. The next weakest point is knowledge on how to take care or deal with demented seniors. Traning is needed.

The overall look of this community is very pretty, the rooms are spacious. They have trivia and karaoke. The food was fine, our loved one never complained about it. This community is very bright and cheery.

Check other options. The room sizes and layout of the community are very nice. The food is mediocre. They had some wonderful staff and there were some lazy workers. My mom fell and fell and waited 30 minutes for someone to answer her call. She was not bathed on a regular basis.

Overall my mom's care was very good, but there was an incident with another resident that bothered me. Due to this incident it made me decide to pull my mother out of this community. I believe they interacted with my mom very well. Overall there was very nice people. My mother has dementia and it is hard to get her involved and participate in activities.

The facility was lovely. The staff were very nice. They had my name on a nice welcome board. They called me 5 times over two days before the appointment while I was busy. When I called back, I got a voice mailbox. I left a message and never got a return call. They have a very small parking lot.
