This was an okay community, I didn't get to see any residents during the tour.

The community is above average. I would recommend the community about as much as any, communication between the staff could be better. The community is expensive but so are all of them. The community is clean

I think this facility is best for memory care like dementia or Alzheimer's. The rooms were nice in size and plenty of storage space. The food was good and they offered a great variety. I would recommend this facility for older memory care patients.

The legacy is a new, clean community located at a busy intersection in Lexington, KY with ample nearby shopping, entertainment and medical facilities. While there are some activities, it’s seems a little quite and dormant. The food is fine, nothing special. Dining room service is slow and my loved one complains of small portions. The courtyard is beautiful and enjoyable as are the many nooks of “living room” spaces on each floor which are high end in decor and pretty comfortable. The lobby and library are beautifully decorated. While my loved one is totally independent living, I would like if there were more organized activities. All in all, it’s a very nice facility. The transportation is limited. Just know, you are on your own here.

When we toured Traditions we were very impressed. My in-laws got moved in and settled. It took about a week or so for them to adjust to being someplace different but the staff was encouraging and patient with my in-laws and with us as we worried about them settling in. However, at one point issues started to arise - Slow responses when the pull cords/buttons were used; dinner being slow at being served; quality of food; no follow through on medical issues that Traditions said they would provide. There is now a new director and the food service has improved and we have been told staffing issues are being resolved. We are hoping it all works out because the facility is in such a beautiful location and the building is new, clean, and the staff that is there is very helpful.

What I really liked about this community it was designed specifically for residents with dementia and Alzheimers. On the tour, the staff was very nice and informative. The community appeared clean and well maintained.

My mom is a new resident in this community and so far she is okay. The care is good and so far we like it too. She likes the activities like painting and ice cream social. It is an enjoyable atmosphere for her. I wasn't happy with how her room was cleaned. I mentioned this to the staff and it seems to be better now.

The tour was given by one of the maintenance people and he was very knowledgeable about the community. The rooms were not the same as the community we choose as you had to pay extra for a room with an outdoor patio.

Our loved one has adapted well. Staff is great. Management seems in a state of flux.

We visited this community while looking into care options for a loved one. The staff members that I met seemed friendly and helpful, and the facility itself was clean and well kept. However, it just had sort of cold, impersonal hospital feel. I did not think my loved one would be comfortable here.

Marketing people were very nice and helpful as was the director. Once you actually get into the place, there could be more cerebral activities other than bingo and Christian related activities. Many people aren't Christians. I think the colors inside on walls are dull there and don't invoke cheerfulness when you walk into the place. I thought maintenance was very good though- and their attentiveness to issues and maintenance needs with the individual resident was very good. There needs to be more orientation taken with the new individual and many times they're just given brochures and packets of info. Well, when you're disabled & have some memory problems that's not the best way to orient a person - other than that, I think it was a better than average place, but could be even better. Also, the landscape outside desperately needs attention and does not match the nice interior at all. You see that when you drive up in the place and that's very important I think - what you see First definitely makes an impression -it just has never had the attention that it needs.

Cleanliness of the facility 5 for common areas. 4 for rooms. Friendliness depends! Front desk 5. I think the facility is very nice and the activities they do and the energy on the first floor is fantastic. I think for patients that need a little more care it's very hit and miss depending on who the aide is that day.

Food, and facility itself is nice, but they're not very good with communication. Emails and calls go unanswered. It's just ok, not great...not terrible

They seemed more concerned about the camera in his room than actually helping him. They frequently told me they had to be rough with him because he wouldn't listen. They were worried I saw it on the camera.

3 separate areas within one facility...unassisted/retirement, assisted, and memory care. There is a calendar of events for each area for those residents that want to participate. Rent is raised around $[Amount Removed] each year. Turn over rate for care staff has been high in the last year. Care staff in assisted areas need better training and need to be monitored more by administration. Urine smell and bathing is concerning in this area. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided within the cost of rent. Food is mediocre here. Walmart and Publix outings once a week for residents who can go. Transportation is also available to those needing to get to medical appointments.

From my observations, the assisted living residents have a completely different experience from the memory care residents. It's obvious why that may be the case. However, I would ask very specific questions about the quality of food for memory care patients. I know that families will not get a truthful response but show up for lunch and dinner when it's not part of the tour. I will add that I would suggest looking at facilities that allow cameras in the room.

The people that were and they were great. The situation we had was financial mistakes that costed us quite a bit of money and I had to get a lawyer

At the price point and accepting Medicaid, it was by far the most clean and least depressing place. Everywhere else was extremely expensive for someone that qualifies for Medicaid or put two to four people into a very tiny room. Lots of places were dirty and dark. This place seems to have more personality and happier residents and stuff overall at least compared to the others in the same range. I would recommend it only if someone had a similar budget to my dad, otherwise I'm not sure it's ideal but none of these really are

Tribute at One Loudoun- it is a nice place, clean, friendly sales people. The food is decent. There were a few challenges with nursing staff and making sure they could accommodate my dad with his medical needs, but once we got that sorted out, things went well.
