The tour was given by one of the maintenance people and he was very knowledgeable about the community. The rooms were not the same as the community we choose as you had to pay extra for a room with an outdoor patio.

Our loved one has adapted well. Staff is great. Management seems in a state of flux.

We visited this community while looking into care options for a loved one. The staff members that I met seemed friendly and helpful, and the facility itself was clean and well kept. However, it just had sort of cold, impersonal hospital feel. I did not think my loved one would be comfortable here.

At the price point and accepting Medicaid, it was by far the most clean and least depressing place. Everywhere else was extremely expensive for someone that qualifies for Medicaid or put two to four people into a very tiny room. Lots of places were dirty and dark. This place seems to have more personality and happier residents and stuff overall at least compared to the others in the same range. I would recommend it only if someone had a similar budget to my dad, otherwise I'm not sure it's ideal but none of these really are

Tribute at One Loudoun- it is a nice place, clean, friendly sales people. The food is decent. There were a few challenges with nursing staff and making sure they could accommodate my dad with his medical needs, but once we got that sorted out, things went well.

They need to put a better transition team in place. My mom's adjustment was very difficult. I had no idea what to expect and it would have been helpful for a bit more assistance getting her settled. Also don't move in around the holidays or staffing transitions. There weren't enough people on staff for a time.

The facility is pretty. The dining area was nice. My Dads room was smaller then I expected. The people working there were not very responsive to issues. Lost glasses, transportation issues, wound care, hard to get in touch with people. I probably could have alleviated some of these issues if I lived in the area. It was hard being 1000 miles away.

It was a nice, clean place, could have used some general sprucing up and brightening of corridors and various rooms. PT/OT was almost nonexistent. They did have a lot of nice activities. Difficult to judge room since it was completely empty though the rep said it could be brought in if needed. The rep seemed more interested in what I thought about other sites vs trying to tout what Goldton has to offer. Many of the same activities were available although other sites had much more to offer as far as PT/OT and medical services. The facility was located in a nice area, had nice grounds, but is purely Assisted Living and didnt offer higher level care.

The facility itself is beautiful and the administrative staff in Memory Care are very supportive and caring towards the residents they care for. However, the Director [name removed] is not suitable for the job in my opinion!

When we got here [time frame removed] the menu was better than it is now and the dining room service was much more prompt. We have not even been to the dining room in two months, because we are much happier preparing our own meals in our fully equipped kitchen.

We are new to memory care and I rate it as fair because there is not enough activity and the staff does not engage with the residents as they sit idle all day.

Members of the staff did not speak English to the patients. It was very confusing to them. I would not recommend this facility for those looking for memory care.

[name removed] is a super nice man and he will bend over backwards to help, but some of the people that work for him are something else. The majority of the people there are super nice that take care of my wife. The building is always clean and everyone is nice to me. If not for the problem with the meds, I would give it a 5.

They need more staff and the building/rooms are outdated.

They present at the tour much better than they perform in reality. I would never again put a loved one into a facility that doesn't have fall cameras and also doesn't provide residents with pendants to call for help.

3.5-4.0. The facility was recently purchased and it's now Goldton at Lake Nona!! They do try hard but Dads care is rapidly changing and he's gone from fairly independent to needy.

Below expectations, left 5.5 months of my 6 month lease. Issues trying to get maintenance to repair shower. Activities planned but were not executed very well. Seemed like most folks ate and just went back to their rooms.

Over all it's been ok. They are nice and her room is nice. The staff has continually had issues getting her meds correct and mom needs to have me intercede to get her the right help. The wait time for assistance is no where near the 7 minute response time they touted. It's more like 10-15 minutes and sometimes multiple calls need to be made. They are also losing their director and changing primary care providers at the facility. The food seems to be good and their activities director is very nice and a great fit for his role. We will see how things go with the above mentioned issues.

but let's give them a 3 overall...food my husband says is a 1. Friendliness and care about 4 and over all cost is very high to me...but I don't have any assistance yet.

The facility has some positive things about it. The management has changed quite a bit in the past year. There are some very dedicated employees there but they are understaffed. A new management company has taken over and things are improving. They are still under staffed however.
