The atmosphere when you walk in is welcoming and comfortable. The staff has been very friendly and they go out of their way to accommodate us when we need something. The activities seem a bit repetitive, so I wish they would come up with more for the Senior's to do. Other than that, things are going well.

Our loved one hasn't been here long, but so far things have gone very well! The facility itself is well kept and clean, and it's got a comfortable homey environment. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they do a great job looking out for the residents. It's a nice place, overall!

I took an unannounced visit to Bickford yesterday as well as other 4-5 star locations listed and I can honestly say I was most impressed with this facility! It was clean, the staff was friendly and the three longtime residents I met on my own were all happy with the location. One of which allowed me to view her own apartment. Reading some of below reviews do not reflect the people I met or the location I visited. Which doesn't say much because one of the other 4-star (Summerset) locations I visited yesterday had mold on the walls and ceilings. And the first room they brought me in to visit had a foul smelling stench that almost brought tears to my eyes. Bickford at Buckhead is by far my front runner for my loved one!

So far so good at Brookedale Oviedo. Jill is very sweet here and Pam the business manager is too. I've been there numerous times and it was very nice. It is very clean. The only problem I have is you can walk right in after hours and that is what I would change. I came in around 7 o'clock after most of the staff had left and no one even noticed. That is a red flag to me. The place was nice. The people are nice. It always smells good. I know my mother is having a really good time there. I would hear about if she wasn't.

The building, all-in-all is a very homey looking facility and that is really about all I can say about the place for now. I really just have mixed feelings about it because my loved one has fallen down twice now.

We haven't moved our sister in yet, but couldn't ask for nicer people so far. Have been very helpful and willing to help. Hope this continues, if so couldn't ask for better.

We used this facility for a brief respite stay for a loved one, and overall I thought they did a very good job. The facility was clean and well kept, and the staff were friendly and professional. My loved one did not need much in the way of care, but they did a good job looking after him all the same.

Bickford has the best staff in the memory care unit. They truly care about the people and are always supportive to those coming in to visit. I can't say enough about the people. They helped us thru some difficult times and were always calm and patient with mom. I would recommend that you go in and meet with the care team to assess if they will meet the needs for your loved one. Memory is a hard issue and you want to find the right group for you. We wanted a place that would truly check on our mom regularly so she felt safe and that people stopped to visit. An outside area was also important. They try to keep up with activities for everyone, but there are so many different levels of care in there that sometimes it is hard to meet everyone specific activity needs. They do try to get everyone together daily for things.

We have been very pleased. Everything is clean, and the staff is friendly. We have been pleased with the food, and they even had a nice Easter dinner, everything is well prepared, and well seasoned. There is lots of good entertainment and activities. There are a few little things that could be a little better, the staffing is a little short sometimes. They do a good job on whole.

However, the staff just didn't seem like they'd had time to work out all the kinks yet. It was a nice place, but I wanted somewhere that I felt would be more of a sure thing for my loved one.

I have a family member at this Bickford. She didn't want to move in and leave her home. We were all worried and she seemed depressed but when she moved in she changed. The staff was welcoming and the activities lady took her under her wing and totally changed my family members out look. They have some of the best parties. My family member laughs a lot and this makes me happy. She enjoys the food but would like more of a southern flair to her meals but she calls it home and never wants to leave, she has told us this. Thank Bickford for making her whole again!

There were a few reasons I chose Bickford. I really liked the small intimate nature of the facility. I also liked that they had twenty four hour a day, seven day a week nursing care. I felt like the staff were more personable than others I had looked at. So far it's working out pretty well.

Very secure - must have key code to even enter the building. Building seemed very quiet when I was there.

This was my second choice, and I liked that the caregivers were all C.N.A's. The people up front were really friendly and nice. Paula was wonderful and followed up with me. She was great, everything was positive. The reason we didn't choose it, is because a lot of the people that worked there, had some heavy accents. With hearing issues and some dementia, this would make communication very difficult for my loved one. Other than that they seemed like a great community.

We toured this community when we were looking into care options for our loved one. This place looked very nice, it was clean, they had plenty of activities going on, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. However by the time we'd seen this one we had already toured another that really blew us away. I know they would have done a great job here, but this did not end up being the community we selected.

They are not as expensive as other places and not the cheapest either. They are short staffed, especially on the weekends. During the week they were excellent and very attentive, and gave her very good care. The food was ok I would give it a three. I really had to stay on top of things to make sure that she was getting everything she needed. They seemed to have some difficulty coordinating with hospice. I felt like they were a little overly optimistic with needing hospice and I had to set up the hospice care. Hospice was supposed to provide medication and certain supplies, and the aides didn't seem to be well informed about those things and there is always someone different working with her.

Very nice. The rooms were a good size and nice layout. Staff was friendly an helpful. Felt welcoming with a personal touch.
