Although there were a couple things my mother complained about, I am pleased. The majority of the staff has been wonderful. The facility is kept up well. The apartment size is perfect. Especially for someone with mobility issues. They do their best to meet the needs of everyone. The food is nutritious but my mom complains about no dessert ?? I would recommend Legacy Ridge

The care is pretty good, sometimes it takes a bit too long though for staff to get to residents when they press button for help. My father's main caregiver is great! He does a great job. They have some nice activities available to residents. They have a guy who performs musically, playing guitar and singing older tunes that the residents know. I think that they call it the sing a long. Apartments and building common areas are kept clean. The eating facility is nice, it takes a while though to get service, it would be nice if they had more service staff during busy mealtimes. Overall my dad is pretty happy there and feels well cared for.

The front desk receptionist, [name removed], is phenomenal! Kind, loving and always paying attention to detail. That is very helpful to a caregiver like me who works full time. I knew I could count on [name removed] to let me know if my loved one needed anything.

No assisted living place is great. This is just a less bad one. The food can often be good. The care helpers are mostly good people.. Just not enough of them. Lots of workers don't stick around for long, or call in sick when a better paying shift is available. Turnover and inadequate ratios some nights are the continual themes.. Sometimes that gets better for several weeks.

The quality of care is a 4 because they are understaffed. Management doing best they can with staff at current level. The food is very good and there are many activities for the residents to participate in. I have not worked with any other facility so I can't determine if the level of care is better or worse than others. At the current rate, I would hope that staffing levels would increase.

The staff is great they make you feel at home. Are always watching out for the residents. Room is big. She is happy with that if I can convince her to stay. Only bad experience is that my mom is being bullied but a set if the residents and it is only a few of them and the staff has done nothing about them. I see the same ones doing it to a lot of the residents

We relocated our friend to another facility [date removed], not because we had any issues with it, but because we thought it would be more suitable to her social and cultural needs. I still have high regard for The Overlook at Suwanee and what they were able to accomplish there The Overlook had good management and a caring staff, but sometimes need attention that all expectations are being met. I would recommend both communities to others. I am grateful to each of them for their care of our friend.

The staff is compassionate, friendly, and always willing to help. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the care provided has exceeded our expectations. I would recommend it to other families looking for quality care.

While I have not yet visited in person, I am updated via phone from [Name Removed] about her experience there. There are some concerns such as she was bumped by a food cart, which she seems to suggest there was some damage to her spine after going to the hospital. Also, she thinks that there is some concern about the dining area as many of the residence seem to get watery eyes and sniffling noses when meeting there for meals. She is also frustrated when people come into her room while she is in the shower. On the positive side, she does enjoy the company of her fellow residence, and some of the staff have been very kind to her.

Negative: felt the administrative staff did not return calls or respond to emails timely. My father went in under care of hospice so he was in last stages of his life and passed. He wore a watch and upon his passing the watch disappeared. We notified the administration of this loss and was told they would look into it. We never heard back. Also, when he passed we never heard from the Harrison only heard from the hospice nurse. Positive: care takers seemed nice, Harrison is clean and provides a cheery environment. I was very appreciative that the Harrison took him in at this stage of his life.

I like The Oscar in Georgetown TX. There are plenty of activities, the food is great, the staff is great. I have a housekeeper once a week to keep my apartment clean and nice. I'm in a one bedroom apartment- which meets my needs. I have a washer and dryer. There is a dishwasher, a microwave, built in cable television, full size refrigerator, full size stove. No additional charge for electricity or internet. Secure, safe, accessible. Nice location.

The place is worth the money. We'll maintain and very clean thru out the building. Rooms are large and spacious. Many things going on to keep you going thru your aging years. Very open and people running it are the best.

Food and activities are amazing and the staff are very friendly and know just families and their visitors by name. Very clean. I have one parent in independent living and one in assisted living. The caregivers are still getting to know my dad's level of needs and sometimes we experience delays with getting him help to the bathroom if they are understaffed.

Staff seemed very friendly and facility was clean, well lighted, and comfortable. Had lots of amenities and activities for residents, including an indoor pool and outdoor kitchen and patio for cookouts during good weather.

Everything has been fairly easy regarding move in. Once in a while there's a miscommunication but they are professional. I definitely would recommend Tribute to others. The facility is clean, has a good vibe and the staff are great with the residents.

Things that would be helpful for families looking to know. How to schedule housekeeping. What employees have access to my room. Schedule as to when doctors are at the facility. (Podiatrist, nurse practitioner etc.) My mother is very happy with the size of her bedroom, bathroom kitchen, and the DN it's worked out perfect for her The front desk person there it gooldton is very very sweet with all the residence and help him with haircuts and manicures and pitches in with all the activities if needed my mother is more active there than she was. I'm living with us which gives us peace of mind because she seems so happy.

The facility was very clean and the staff was attentive and very caring. My mom passed away in her room. One of her caretakers called me the next morning to give condolences. I never heard from anyone else. I finally emailed a formal notice to the director giving termination of the lease. I found it odd to never receive a card or phone call from any member of management.

Staff/quality of care was excellent, especially [name removed] and [name removed]. Apartment size was fine for our needs. I would recommend them to others who are searching for care for their loved one.

It started out good, but then they lost their Dining Room Manager, Chef, and several good servers. Food quality diminished and wait times for being served greatly increased. Most management is fairly new and inexperienced, but they do seem to care and try. Med Techs seem nice and competent. Billing is unnecessarily difficult for residents and even their families to understand, and could be clearer. The Concierges are all nice and really try to help. It just seems like the Harrison is understaffed, especially in the dining room and kitchen at this time. We hope the quality of food and quantity of kitchen and serving staff increases. It is a pretty place with so much potential.

Memory care seems to be a step down from Assisted and definitely from Independent care. However, the caregiving staff is kind, patient, and good-humored. All of the staff really see the residents, but even so, there is an institutional approach, rather than personalized, in both food and activities.
