Although the cleaning staff does a terrible job keeping my mom's apartment clean...so I'd give apartment cleanliness a. They are extremely friendly and show a lot of concern and care for the residents. This is the 5th one my mother has been at and she is definitely the happiest here

Friendly & willing to address our needs but like every place these days short staffed at times. Also we pay close to $[removed]/mo. Since my brother is in a wheelchair & needs additional help. There is no registered nurse on staff.

First off, we could get a doctor to tell us our father had dementia. Because originally we were looking at assisted living but dad showed all the signs of dementia. So my sister and I thought it would be best if dad was placed in a memory care facility. This was to after having multiple assisted living facilities do their assessment of dad and saying what we had assumed, he needed memory care. The care facility did what they could having nurse as primary caregiver on staff. Dad was only at a facility for 6 weeks before there was an incident. They sent him to the hospital and from there he was placed in a mental hospital. He was in and out of the hospital for 3 months. During that time the hospital finally said he was on the downhill course of dementia. He was finally moved to ICU, then Hospice where he was for 2 days before he died. If he been diagnosed with dementia early and placed on medication things may have gone differently. So my experience with care facilities isn't good. They all want the perfect patient.

Facility is great. Staff is friendly and reactive when you have a problem but very hard to get hold of. I would recommend the community to other families based on the experience so far.

We feel like it's the best place to send someone like my dad. They are kind, professional, caring, understanding and mainly they listen to us when we have some special questions and concerns about my father. They are very supportive.

Positives: Lovely facility - individual units and common areas. Dinning is quality in service and food. Many activities. Flexibility of schedule for residents and their families. Cons: The support staff can be slow to respond, intrusive when coming in their own (during the night), vary in capability.

For the most part the staff is nice. They are always short staffed causing the workers that should be caring for residents to have to do things like work in the dining room. There has been a lot of turnover over the last few months (upper management, finance department and nursing staff).

Lots of staff turnover, food average but improving, activities adequate but improving. Facility is impressive but problems will be apparent once moved in. Staff working to correct. The activities and food seem to be improving.

Better communication between nursing care and families would be the biggest improvement needed. The community was always lovely to walk into and well maintained. The caregivers were all very kind.

Staff in the memory care center are nice and caring. Facility is small and a bit outdated but well kept and clean.

My mother was in memory care only for 12 days before she died. The workers were caring and compassionate. They took great care of her. Everyone is friendly and loving and they keep the residents busy with activities.

My mother spent her first 2 months on the memory care side. I did not like the care at all. The only person on that side that I was impressed with was the activities person. She was excellent, friendly and caring. I tried to get my mother out of that side asap. Once on the other side, everything was much better. I would definitely recommend the regular side of the Goldton. They were very accommodating and friendly. All of the staff was very good, but the weekend nurse, [name removed], was exceptional. She was an angel. So kind and caring to the patients. She was also the weekend nurse for the memory care side and I was always relieved when I knew she was there because I knew that she would check to make sure my mother was all right.

Tribute is well run for the residents. The staff is friendly and the facility is clean. There are many activities that vary from day to day giving residents choice in what they do from cognitive to active sessions. Mom has had nothing but positive things to say about Tribute. My only concern is some of the staff lack communication skills. It would be nice to get a weekly or monthly summary of how mom is doing medically and cognitively. The front desk staff is stellar though! They keep track of everyone, knows everyone’s name, and answers questions readily. I have found this to be true for the weekday and weekend staff.

Excellent quality of care. One parent is in independent living and the other is in memory care. No place is perfect, they all have issues. However, they are both receiving excellent care. Overall, the food is good and offers a good selection of choice. The ownership, administration and staff have changed quite a bit in the past year. Management has all changed. Many of the staff members have changed too. However, they are doing a good job to add staff and replace those who leave or move to other facilities. Management is sometimes slow to respond to emails and there is room for improvement with communications. Clean and does not smell. It’s a place that you will want to consider for independent, assisted living or memory care.

We are pretty satisfied with the quality of care that our mother mother is receiving at this time.

Ask questions!!! Not all the things the marketing people tell you are actually in practice. Read the contract. Find out which staff person is responsible for what if they don't provide a list. Ask for what you need. Talk to residents before signing on the dotted line. Heartis is a beautiful well maintained community. People are friendly & welcoming but the staff has been hard to find sometimes. The resident handbook needs updating & orientation never happened. I found answers by asking other residents.

They had a friendly staff, the food was pretty good, lots of activities and everyone I spoke with was very friendly and seemed to care. Everyone was very helpful. I had questions about the different levels of care and how that worked and I got a great explanation of how it worked. Also asked about what happens if I needed to move to the memory care and they explained that process as well

Staff is friendly and kind. They take good care of my Dad, helping with dressing, bathing, and other daily tasks. Activities are scheduled daily for anyone to take advantage of. There is a gym and salt water indoor pool. Silver sneakers exercise classes are held several days a week. Food options are offered at the bistro. All Dad's meals are served in dining area just down from his room. Microwave and refrigerator/freezers in room for use making own smacks. Overall Legacy Reserve is a safe place, I am happy with my decision.

The staff is so lovely! We always see the same pleasant faces. The building is CLEAN - and its smells clean. The dining room is cheery and the food is varied and cooked well (albeit maybe not exactly like Grammas). There is a lot of effort to keep residents active. Medical and pharmacy needs are Ssslllooowww... (Although routine care is excellent.) But if you need anything of an urgent nature (UTI) then carry them to urgent care. Otherwise you are at the mercy of labs that take days to run.

The staff is very approachable and my sister is able to get help when she needs it. Room sizes are adequate. Larger than others I've seen. Very modern.
