I like tribute. It's beautiful. They take good care of mom. Nice people.. I'd recommend

My mother has been a resident for about a month. She has been well cared for with a friendly and welcoming staff. To date there have been fewer activities to engage her than I'd hoped. New staff has been hired which I hope will show improvement in that area.

The staff is wonderful, I haven't met a single person there in a year that isn't friendly and playful with my Dad! The activities could be a little better. They had this Connections program that bridged the gap between assisted living and memory care but the program leader left a few months ago and the property changed management companies shortly after that. They said they'll bring it back so we'll see. The food is pretty good and they just got a fantastic new chef so it's only gotten better! Most importantly my Dad enjoys it there, he has little inside jokes with so many of the staff and loves every interaction he has with them! The property is beautiful, smells nice and is always perfectly decorated for every single holiday!

They are really good. The staff is kind including management. There is some turnover, but it hasn't changed the level of service for the most part.

Place is clean and there's activities with friendly staff that are willing to help.

Legacy has 3 areas in the facility for residents- not assisted(more like retirement living), assisted(bathing, toileting, transferring, getting places), and memory care(full care). It's the only place in Columbus, Ga. That has all three in the same facility....I visited in depth at all of them! Assisted area, resident must be able to feed their self and not be completely bed bound- if they can't do those things, they will need a skilled nursing home for their care. A range of different activities are offered to residents so that ALL can participate in something. Weekly Walmart and Publix trips as well as trips to doctors appointments are included. The rent includes the room, utilities, food, and most activities. Residents supply all furniture for their room and hygiene items. Small kitchen area with a microwave and dorm refrigerator in rooms. They will give in depth guided tours and ask/answer sessions.

I nothing negative to say about the Goldton. Top notch. Yes, we would recommend The Goldton at Venice to other families based on the experience so far.

I would give a 4 on all 8. We were blessed to be there at a good time. They had a lot of turnover right before my husband died. I am sure that is normal. Yes, we would recommend The Goldton at Spring Hill to other families based on the experience so far.

Love most of staff they are caring people. Mom loved them too. I think it was because I was always there they didn't check her as often as I thought they should. I also disagree with the night shift being shallow to sleep. Many times they would sleep and not do hourly checks. I also they need a person on Duty 24 hours who can give meds like an antibiotic if needed. I feel more training and documentation needs to done. Every shift should know how to assess all the residents. That way they can be alert for problems. At the price of the facility they should pay staff a good enough and provide weekly meetings for discuss what each resident are doing and any problems.. also classes to gain new skills. If a patient has need for things ensure they should supply it for residents who can't eat the food they provide. Many times I would have to send them to find something Mom could eat. Activities should include the ones who are weak and bed bound. This was the 1st time I have been involved with Memory care I didn't see the level of needed care of Memory Care. Work. On helping fight to help keep memories from being loss.

I think Madison Heights is better than any place I checked in the Augusta/Columbia. County area. It is clean, smells good, has small pods so that residents don't get lost or overlooked. Care is personal and kind. Rooms area all private with en suite bathroom, closet and storage. Finally, it is well-priced ( considering that they all are EXPENSIVE). I know my wife is safe and well-cared for there.

We were blessed in finding The Goldton in Southaven when searching for a place for my brother. The staff was welcoming, understanding and accommodating. He has been living there for over a year is happy with the experience. The communications with me have been excellent. I am comforted knowing that is his good care.

The Goldton of Southaven is a great place for yourself or a loved one to live independently while receiving additional care and assistance if needed. The staff are friendly and the facility is very clean. There are daily activities and occasional outings. Improvement is needed for timelines of maintenance/repairs. Residents are charged for meals delivered to their room when there are often times the residents does not feel well or has physical conditions that, at times, hinder their comfort to walk to the cafeteria.

They could offer better diabetic friendly snacks/desserts/this is the area where my mom has had some issues with service/portion size. We've had no issues with her medication technicians. She has one who is her main technician, and we LOVE her! She definitely loves the patients. The staff have been very prompt with their responses, when we have questions. There is a new protocol with the MOXY pharmacy, no medications can be out sourced, unless it's from the VA. This is a new change this summer, so no issues yet, but just concerned with any emergency care or urgent care, that might need medications. Just a concern.

Nursing staff is great. Mom is happy. I was a bit disappointed with the lack of a proper orientation for mom and they have been very slow providing the promised Alexa device to help mom remember daily events. I am overall very pleased, just a big lapse on the intake portion is my only concern.

No answer for activities as my mom refuses adamantly not to participate in activities. We'd strongly recommend that someone use the in house doctor. His staff is very knowledgeable and communicative. Lunch is alright and dinner is so/so. Items tend to be fried and creamy though they do offer grilled and baked chicken but as my mom's short term memory is very poor, she doesn't remember it is there to order. All the staff know each resident and do go out of their way to say hello

You have to supply your own wipes. Medicare only provides 1 pack/month. You have to get the salon lady to do nails as well, because the staff won't. The room is nice. The bathroom is a little cramped. The staff is friendly and usually helpful.

Very polite, friendly and responsive staff. Lots of daily activities. Nice, new, clean building. Community is not to small but not overwhelmingly big.

Food in memory care disappointing at times when covid, flu, or other issues resulted in simple meals presented in Styrofoam boxes. - Memory Care has low threshold for what care exceeds what they are willing to provide. Some reasonable medicines for alzheimers will not be administered so any behavior issues easily get magnified resulting in resident being kicked out. They provide care only while it is relatively easy. - Caregivers and nurses for the most part are very caring and competent. - Communication with relatives could be better. Sometimes hard to find out what's happening, status, etc. - Facilities are quite good. Much better than several other local memory care facilities.

I don't live near the facility but my sister that lives in the area does. She believes since [name removed] left, the facility management has decreased. I believe all facilities have some problems. You just have to figure out which will be problematic for you. We don't like that my mother's clothing are frequently loss in the in house laundry. We have found my mother wearing clothing that are not hers. But, that is really minor. You should determine if the facility is clean and kept up, if the food choices are good (healthy) and if there are truly regular (more than once a year) doctor/nursing visits to ensure the health of your loved one is met. It would be nice to get some kind of monthly or bimonthly report on your loved one.
