They seem caring and responsive. Yes, I would recommend Madison at Ocoee to other families.

The facility and staff are friendly and concerned about residents well-being. They will bring your meals to your room should you not want to or cannot make to the dining room. They inform loved ones when an incident occurs. The food is sometimes slightly overcooked but they have a healthy menu. The staff will sometimes get behind on laundry but respond if laundry is needed.

We chose Madison at the Range because of the comfortable feeling and cleanliness of building. Different things to see in the building, friendliness of staff.

My mom lived there for a handful of months. She had an issue with overpowering air fresheners that aggravated her COPD and that was never resolved. During her stay the facility also lost their cook and the meals were not great while they searched for a new staff member. I felt she was safe and the staff was friendly and kind, but it was definitely a poor fit for her. The stay came to a planned end, but if it had been a permanent move we would have been looking for a new home for her.

Staff turnover seems high so new people caring for stepdad aggravates him. However, yes I would recommend this community to other families because the cost everywhere seems high and this facility condition is nice.

Overall seems good, compared to things we have heard about other area facilities; my mom is treated well and with respect and seems to like living there. She has made several friends there and generally gets all of her needs met. Beautiful and clean facility! Aides and kitchen staff are very friendly to residents! Difficulty with retaining staff in higher level roles (head nurse especially!) and retaining aides, likely due to complaints about pay. Some delicious meals; others repetitive, as per my mothers report. Activities have been improving recently, but have been less "engaging" vs movies, bingo, watching musicians, etc than we would have liked over the past year. New activities director has been stepping it up in this area over past 2 months though. This is a very expensive facility! Recommending this beautiful and pleasant community, with hopes that the new director will be able to improve staff numbers and retention issues.

Staff is flexible about level of communication preferred by family.

This is a very nice facility and the staff generally do their best to take care of the residents. Their only issue is being able to keep enough staff to do this really well. But I think that is a problem that all facilities are facing. The Wildcat staff is genuinely caring. If they had more people, they would do a better job. When we left in June, they were very stretched and were doing the best they could, but it was hard because the management kept accepting more residents without additional staff. I would definitely recommend Wildcat Senior Living.

We've been happy overall with Thrive. It took a while to understand all the procedures, rules, and how to get things done but now that we know those things we're able to work within the system well. They could use an onboarding guide or something to tell the family and resident how to check out meds, get laundry done, get seen by resident doctor/CRNP, etc. Staff and food are great and my Mom is very happy with both. Meals have two mains choices and the food has always been very good. Lots of activities during the week but that goes down to just a few on weekends and holidays. Facility is nicely appointed, and pleasant. Apartments are also nice, large baths and closet. It's not a big place which is a plus - easy to navigate. Price is competitive for the service level.

1. Overall experience -4, there have been some hiccups along the way but they have overcome most of them. Staff turnover, and mid level management issues have been the worst. 2. Cleanliness -3, went for an extended period without a cleaning staff. Other staff filled in from time to time but did not maintain rooms as they should have been. 3. Friendliness of staff -4, majority of staff is very friendly and personable. 4. Quality of care -4, don't care much for the way seeing their doctors is arranged. Use a company out of Birmingham and they are only available once a week. 5. Meals/Dining -4, Meals are good on the most part. Could use a bit more variety. 6. Activities -4, they try hard but it is difficult to find good activities for Memory Care residents. 7. Value for Cost -3, I know things are expensive these days but over $[removed] a month seems exorbitant. The management of Monark Grove has changed three or four times in the two years we've been there. Because of that there has been a lot of inconsistency in all the rated areas. From what I've seen, Monark Grove is much like other assisted living facilities, only newer.

Definitely the cleanest brightest memory care in town. I think rooms could be cleaned more often. Food is overall good but some items are hard to chew ( frozen chicken fingers with hard breading). Few people would eat them just a waste. I think the staff truly cares about the patients. Had issues early on with medications which has finally gotten corrected. Rebecca with a place for mom was wonderful to work with. Was a huge help in the decision making process. Made it easier on me to know i was making a good decision.

Overall I like the activities they have and my mom is happy. They get a 5 for cleanliness. Once or twice I've smelled an accident but it's always clean, considering who/what they deal with. The staff at Memory Care have always been super nice. There was a nurse awhile back who was irritable but she is no longer there. My only complaint would be that it is very hard to get answers from managers and there is so much staff turnover that what one person says doesn't hold for whoever follows them. Quality of care- good. The people actually caring for her are tender and kind. Not always the smartest, but they really do care for her. Also, mom is supposed to be on a low salt diet but is not. I've realized that just is not going to happen. I'm ok with that because I just want her to be happy in her last yrs.

The leadership there now is not nearly as good as it was when we moved my father in. They have trouble keeping good staff. It is a very beautiful environment. They encourage family visits and help to that end.

I live 4 hours away so I am basing these numbers on my loved ones reactions and experiences. My loved one had a rough time adjusting but has settled in finally. My loved one loves the caregivers, the food, and when I have been there it's clean and inviting. I rarely see the administrative staff so that's a hard one. But overall, my loved one seems content and they take good care of them. I am mainly pleased with the setup, 2 caregivers for 12 (at the most) residents. More one on one care. And it's almost like a house. My loves one thinks they are at her home most days. It really is a nice place!

Overall the place is nice and clean. Staff are friendly and accommodating. First week didn’t go well as it almost seemed like they weren’t prepared for my parents to move in. Everything was worked out and my parents are settled in and happy. They keep busy with activities and engagement.

The facility is wonderful. They made a statement that you have four places to choose from to eat. That is not the case. You can order something from the Bistro or eat in the dining room. I haven’t enjoyed the food in either place. I took about two months getting familiar to the activities and learn to come and go when I want to. I had been in an assisted living facility for a couple of months and had a tightly, regimented schedule. I also enjoyed feeling I could do what I wanted, when I wanted to.

There is always room for improvement, and the first 4 months have been a transition period for Mom and all of us. The ratings have improved for us this past month. When they say "light cleaning of rooms, they mean it. I feel they could do better. The Med Techs are all sweet, but they need more training when it comes to the administering of eye meds (most important in Mom's case). Mom does not participate in activities other than Sunday church service due to her blindness and hearing issues, but I do see a lot of residents participating and looking forward to it. Everyone is super friendly and we are very satisfied with how Mom is being taken care of there. I would highly recommend the Madison at Ocoee to anyone in need of assisted living.

I think consistency and continuity of staff is very important. The facility is doing ok with this but would like to see more effort in this. I would also like to see more cultural and ethnic diversity in food choices and activities.

The staff I've worked with are kind and helpful. My father doesn't need much help so he doesn't make use of a lot of the amenities offered. The transport to the doctor is super helpful! Medication has been an issue, but we manage it now rather than having the facility do it.

I would recommend this facility to a friend- yes. I think I would recommend additional staff in the memory are unit. Staff does not have enough time to meet the needs of all even though they do their best.
