Elmcroft was the first place on my list to check out for my 88 year old mother. It was the last place I checked! I was treated to one of the most pleasant experiences of my life!!! Admin, staff and residents were friendly and inviting. I knew immediately I would have the peace of mind I needed in the care for my mom. Since my mom has been there, after a 12 hour trip from Maryland, she has been happy! The facility is clean both inside and out and does not have an "institutional" feel or atmosphere. A family friendly place where love combines with exceptional care! And "Peace of Mnd"! They ROCK! J. Scott McCauley Gallatin, TN

We toured this community when we were looking into care options for a loved one. This was a beautiful place, the facility was brand new, and the staff all seemed very friendly and professional. However it was also very expensive.

I have visited the American House and would rate them a 5. It was very clean and the staff were friendly. I did not have a meal or attend an activity, but I did look at the menu. This will be the community I choose for my mother.

I visited Park Place and gave them a 5 star rating. it was really nice, the staff was friendly, and it was like being in a luxury hotel. I also liked a couple of other places I looked at, but Park Place was my favorite. It's somewhere I would move into myself.

I toured here. It was a nice place overall. They were very friendly. I was surprised that there were not more inclusive options. When I went I saw the residents at the lunch meal, and that seemed okay. I saw the activity rooms but I didn't get to see the activities in progress. There is some difficulty with having one loved one that has high care level needs, and one that is fairly independent.

Friendly staff, clean building, good food.

WE FINALLY FOUND A PLACE THAT WE COULD BE AT EASE PUTTING OUR UNCLE THERE. WHEN WE TOURED TO THE COMMUNITY, IT WAS QUITE A DELIGHTFUL EXPERIENCE AND VERY REASSURING TO KNOW HE WOULD BE SO WELL TAKEN CARE OF, AND IN SUCH A NICE COMMUNITY TOO. COULD NOT BE ANY HAPPIER WITH THE CARE AND OVERALL SERVICES OFFERED TO THESE RESIDENCE.

The community is a very clean and a good match for my parents, with other couples their age. The staff is very friendly, they have in home care help. The food servers are very good and helpful, though my parents have been disappointed with the food sometimes. The only problem was the snow removal was a little disappointing, it was hard to get to a safe place at the front entrance for my father in his wheel chair to get in the car. Oh, the two bedroom one bath apartment is nice and spacious compared to others i have seen. I really enjoyed the service provided by For A Place For Mom.

We toured a number of communities before choosing American House Jenison. The community provided everything we were looking for and we felt the value was great for my mother. The staff is knowledgeable and available for contact for questions. They are also friendly, alert and do provide medication management. My mother feels that the food is in good portions. She has lost a little weight, which she was thrilled about. She has participated in a few of the activities and has won a few dominoes challenges. The community has outings to the grocery store and sometimes restaurants. The only issue we found that isn't mentioned in their literature is that the community is faith-based. However, the community has taken steps to include all forms of worship for their residents. Our family is very happy for the help given by A Place for Mom. We are very happy and with the decision we made and relieved that my mother is in a safe and stable environment.

I needed to find a place for my parents and had only two weeks before my dad was discharged from the hospital (broken hip). Their home was unsuitable for recuperation and really for their long term safety and comfort. Bentley and Bonnie, specifically , worked quickly and with a heartfelt effort to make this transition possible. My parents said they were willing to stay for the winter. Well, their feelings about a short term stay changed almost immediately. Within two weeks, my mother began to talk about selling their house and where she would put all her furniture. Every time I visited she would exclaim "we love it here! How did you find this place?" I was elated that they were in a place that not only provided for all of their needs (nursing care, meals, friendship and social activities) but a place where every employee treated them like family. And I'm not exaggerating when I say EVERY person that works at Bentley . This includes staff in the kitchen, maintenance, concierge and the variety of nurses and therapists. It is clear that Bentley raises the bar high when they are hiring. Do not hesitate if you are looking for a comfortable, safe and supportive location for your parents. There is a shuttle every day for errands, doctors appts and sometimes just for a quiet scenic drive around the area. The food is delicious and not institutional at all. Thank you to Bentley And All of their wonderful staff!

American house has been great so far. It's clean and the staff is friendly. The other residents are complaining about the food, they miss having omelettes all the time. My loved likes the food though and thinks there is good variety.

Cedarlake Village is not only safe, clean, and beautifully decorated but it is staffed with some of the most amazing and caring pillars of our community. The employees and residents are genuine, kind, caring, honest and good hearted people that you want your loved ones to be surrounded by. My sisters and I are very blessed to have our parents join such an amazing senior living community. Thank you !!

My mom, World War II Veteran, feels right at home here at American House - Westland Joy. She's made many friends in staff and other residents. So many activities always going on, all ages included, never a dull moment. :)

My husband is at Elmcroft at Hamilton Place...in a memory care room and we are extremely pleased with everything. The quality of the care is beyond amazing. I visit him everyday and he is always so clean, and dressed so nicely...you can see he's being well cared for. His room and bathroom are always very clean and his bed is always made. His clothes are kept washed and clean. I have stayed often during mealtime, the food always looks very fresh and home made and although I have never eaten any of the meals...my husband says the food is very good. My husband was at another assisted living facility for respite. That place was very different....the residents were lethargic. The food looked very institutionalized. After seeing the great quality of care given at Elmcroft...I would have to say in comparison the care he was given there was just average. At Elmcroft, there's a nice amount of energy and liveliness....either due to activities or because of the residents gathered around laughing and reminiscing with each other or with the caregivers. We made a very long distance move for Elmcroft. Our move was based on recommendations from others...and with the assistance and kindness given to us by Billy Cross...who is the Community Relations Director there. I will end my review by saying that I'm so very happy that we made the long distance move because of the wonderful care being given to my husband at Elmcroft at Hamilton Place in Chattanooga, Tn

They have really been great. They have helped out in every possible way that they could. The experience has been a really good one. They interact very well with everyone that comes in there, and provide really good care and service. I'd recommend The Commons on Pretty Pond to anyone.

We're very pleased with how things have gone so far at Elmcroft of Lebanon! We didn't have any experience with senior communities and the staff at Elmcroft were happy to answer any questions we had throughout the whole process. The facility itself is nice looking and clean, and they take good care of the people who live here.

They are very professional and very compassionate. Very friendly, and very respectful to the seniors that live there. Everything was just great! Our friend is receiving excellent care and attention, getting the needed meds, good nutrition, etc. It has really been a blessing. It's almost as if the dementia has decreased. We are all very pleased!

I have no concerns, it's wonderful there, I love it. It's not just the employees, who smile at you when they walk by. They are all happy, the residents, everyone. The food is the best, the chef Sam, is awesome. This place is the best! They have so much to do I can't keep up, I can't do everything because I am still in one thing when another one starts, it's great. Sarah makes it happen, she hires the right people, and in the dining room all of the workers are adults, not teenage workers.

The entire experience with Elmcroft of Kingsport has been positive. They have taken excellent care of mom, and everyone there has been exceptionally friendly. We've been very very satisfied.
