Everything is wonderful at American House Senior Living. The cleanliness of the facility, friendliness of staff, care provided, and services are all very good.

So far Park Place has been all that we could expect. But it is a little too early for me to give a complete 5 star rating.

My loved one has been here for a little over a month, and it has been great so far. It is a small community and there aren't a lot of residents in her unit. Everyone living there gets a lot of attention, and there is a great staff to resident ratio. Everyone is friendly and the place is clean. It really is the best place in this area.

I couldn't have completed this transition for my parents with out the support, advice, and guidence of Carol Walker. She kept me goen when I thought I was gonna crash and burn. My parents are now together at oakcrest where my mom gets all the care she needs and my dad is with her as a companion for her.

Overall they've done a very good job here. The staff have been very friendly and accommodating to my loved one, and have gone out of their way to make him comfortable as he adjusts to this new situation. I appreciate that they learn about and treat the residents as individuals. The facility itself is nice looking and clean, although I've noticed that their landscaping service could use a lot of improvement. Another area that they could stand to improve is the meal service. My loved one has had nothing but complaints about the food, and it seems they don't have a lot of flexibility when it comes to what they serve, as much of it is supplied and mandated on the corporate level.

We have only been at American House for 2 weeks. All of the staff have been helpful and have been there to answer any questions or concerns. The food is terrific and the staff in the dinning room are friendly and helpful!

The food would be maybe a two. They could be more flexible with the meal times they have assigned sessions and most of the residents want the later session. The big meal was in the early part of the day around eleven or so, a late riser would have breakfast then have a large meal right after. The price could be a little lower. They have contracted out services that could be brought in house that would be great.

They were very reassuring when I approached them. I thought there was no place that could care for my mother but were given options other than their facility. This caring attitude from everyone there made the decision easy to place my mother in their care.

They don't provide a lot of care, they take them to the doctors or shopping, but as far as the care goes, this part of Providence doesn't have much. The part that is built right now is a retirement community, and they will be constructing an assisted living and memory care unit sometime towards the end of next year. In independent living, they provide two meals a day, and each apartment has their own kitchen and laundry. People to come do hair and such, and they have a visiting doctor, but no one that oversees meds. For the money and what you get, Providence is the best thing. In fact, several residents from the other facilities we looked at ended up moving to Providence.

Thr staff is very caring and attentive.

My mom is just not willing or ready or whatever to go into an assisted living. She gave it a few days and just was not comfortable. She felt lonelier there than she does at home even though she lives by herself. She's not a very sociable person and it was just a little overwhelming for her to be put in that environment. The food was great and the people were really attentive. My mom is just not ready.

They're really good but they're not perfect. They were really conscientious about cleanliness and really friendly. It's more expensive than the last place my wife was in but I think it's worth the extra money. The care is great. I used to go 3 times a week but I started going only 2 times a week because they said that might be better. When I get there sometimes they've gone on a bus ride or have done some activity but I don't know how often they actually do that. I am of the opinion that there should be a lot of opportunity for activities. There are 20 residents there and 4 aids that check on them every half hour or so to make sure everything is okay. The house coordinator is very involved with the care. I'm very happy with them.

Elmcroft is a great community with great staff. It is all one level so it provides ease of moving around and navigating. The staff I interviewed and talked with was really good. They have a large dining room for the residents to eat. The room itself is about 100 sqft larger then other communities we were looking at. They were offering about 350-360 sqft while Elmcroft is offering 450 sqft. I am very satisfied with them at this point and would recommend them to anyone.

We chose this community because it is located close to family and makes it convenient to visit. The cost of Broadmore is good and competitive for what they offer. Seems like a good amount of their activities are religion based which could be a little different. But overall we are happy with Broadmore Senior Living.

Every time we visit Elmcroft of Shallowford everything is clean and neat. It doesn't have a smell like some of the other places we toured. We are relatively new to Elmcroft but we are happy with them so far.

Our mother has lived in assisted-living at Elmcroft for over two years. The facility is beautiful and very clean. The staff is well-trained and helpful. Mom reports the food is wonderful. Many daily activities are provided. Residents there seem happy and satisfied with the home. The staff is considerate and cordial.

Suggestion, clients and families who provide care should watch the monthly billing amounts carefully . They correct them when identified and we are looking forward to improvements .

American House Shallowford was clean and well run. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will probably go back there if the need arises again.

The tour and administration were great. Very informative. Didn’t get to see a two bedroom, that is what I wanted to see, but was promised a tour when one became available.

Mom is a lot to handle right now wish they had more staff to spend time with her one on one. The staff is very good and call with any issues but she needs a little more attention during the day to keep her awake so she doesn't get her nights and days mixed up. The front desk people are amazing and are very helpful. I guess I would say they need more staff more nurses but I know how hard that is. Everyone does a great job!
