Staff, management, room set up, meals, entertainment, cleanliness are top notch care. Really think we get the best bang for the buck. I have referred it to others already. They were impressed also but not ready yet to make the change.

Definitely 5 stars!! The staff treats my dad with the upmost respect. They have plenty of activities and and to say the place is clean is and understatement!!! I would absolutely recommend them!

After touring several facilities, my mom decided on American House Coconut Point. She has yet to move in, but everything is now in place. She liked the facility, the 2 bedroom apartment she chose, and the people she met.

My mother moved into American house about five months ago. She was really against moving into an assisted living home at first. But once she met with the [name removed] there she really warmed up to the idea. [name removed] and everyone was so welcoming and eased her worries. She really enjoys living there, she has made many friends and loves all the activities they do there. They recently even asked her to be an ambassador which means she meets with new people when they move in or visit to help answer questions they might have or help to ease worries they might have like she did at first. It’s been really good for my mom living there, we know she is being taken care of and don’t have to worry about her being home by herself anymore. And it’s good for her to have people around her that are her friends and she enjoys spending time with.

I would give all these categories a five. The apartment size is the best I've seen and my dad has been in three other facilities. The bathroom in each room is a huge thing. Activities are several everyday and they are both inside and outside the facility on property. They also have their own bus to do road trips. They usually do one or two road trips each month. Example, they went to gatlinburg aquarium and to lunch. I was able to go also and meet them there. Food and cleanliness are to notch. The staff is absolutely amazing. Examples, they know what you like and don't. My dad loves coffee and they would make sure he always had enough. They know what each person likes to wear for clothes and shoes. My dad gets cold easily and they always had warm clothing on him. They take time to listen to the patients stories although they have heard them many times. When you visit they know your name also and if you visit each week on certain days they let them know you are coming so they get excited. So many other comments I could write a Book. This facility is very well run in every aspect. I highly recommend it and have recommended it to friends for their loved ones. Only regret I have is that I didn't find this facility first.

As a recent former resident, there is not enough time or words to express my hearfelt graditude and thankfulness for the leadership and staff at American House Burlington Creek. Due to unseen finanical challenges we encouner which did not allow us to stay; nothing but grace and compassion, patience; was shown upon our disparture was delivered to us.Coupled with professionalism and customer service displayed. Because of that... upon returning from stablizing the challenges we desire to return to enjoy our final days at American House. Burlington Creek. Thank you....[name removed] and staff!

Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Beautiful facility. Sales associate was very considerate and thorough. Very helpful in helping us with our questions regarding the assessment process and any other steps necessary to move our family member from his old residence to the new one. Also helpful with information regarding veterans assistance, etc.

When I visited everyone was so informative and so nice! I especially was glad to learn that you can have a roommate which I feel in some cases is a good idea. I was not aware of this possibility! I have 2 places I have considered would be a good fit for my husband. This is one of the places!

Sales staff was extremely helpful and the facility was extremely well kept. The apartments well a nice size.

American House was very clean and everyone was exceptionally friendly. [name removed] did a great job explaining everything to my husband and I it’s a wonderful place and I hope to be there one day. My husband is just not ready right now.

The staff has been wonderful. They are all so kind, friendly and very helpful. I do not know all the names yet but i want to give a special thanks to [name removed]. He has gone above and beyond helping me with this transition. His kindness radiates. Also a big shout to [name removed] in the kitchen. Your food is delicious. 5 stars for All the above for the attention and times of my visits , during the time of Aunt [name removed] stay and care while I kept busy seeing after her affairs.

So far so good. They were good about quickly fixing anything she hasn't been happy with. The apartment is very nice. She doesn't drive so the shuttle service has been very helpful. The people are nice and she has made quite a few friends. She's glad to be there despite some initial hesitation.

I loved the place, Independent Living. We will be moving in shortly. [name removed] and [name removed]are great to work with.

Though there is a 1.5 year wait [name removed] was happy to give us the option of a tour. We are glad we did tour as it gave us the opportunity to see what they offer - which is a lot! American House has set a high bar to compare with other communities as the units and amenities are very impressive. We added our name to be placed on the wait list in spite of the extensive wait. However, they reach out to everyone in the Fall to update the list which can lower our position on the list.

I had a great meeting with [name removed] and she took me on a tour of the facilities after a thorough discussion of my family’s needs. I got to meet several of the residents and a lot of the staff. Everyone seemed really friendly and caring. [name removed] helped me think about how to talk to my parents about this decision and gave me some treats to take home to my kids. This was my first tour and [name removed] and the other staff really made me feel at ease with this challenging process. I’m looking forward to bringing my parent to see the community that’s been cultivated at American House.

I originally toured this facility (via virtual) in 2023 with [name removed]. I found the facility to be very charming—-a place where my father could receive memory supoort care, and at the same time, maintain a sense of dignity which is very important to him. I recently toured the facility with [name removed]. I am happy to say that American House did not disappoint. It has maintained a welcoming community atmosphere that I haven’t found in other facilities that offer memory support care. The furnishings are well appointed and the caregivers are friendly and capable. Additionally, [name removed] showed us the Veteran’s Wall. This warmed my heart immensely. My father is a veteran and holds his service to our country in high regard. And so, [name removed] made my sister and I feel as though — if my father were to transition there—-he would be treated with respect and care. My sister and I do not live locally, and [name removed] really put us both at ease.

American House Brentwood is my choice for moving my sister. The total value proposition, quality of living, cost of living there, and location became the best choice among all the high quality senior living options provided by Place for Mom
