American House

Our experience has been great so far, the staff are friendly, patient and problem solvers. It is a very clean facility and the residents all seem happy. The folks in the front office have been great, the whole move in process and maintenance support our loved one has received is very strong. Overall great communication.

Only issues we are having is they are not dusting our loved ones bedroom. We thought that would be included with the house keeping and the price we are paying. The community is lovely, well decorated and very nice. Very positive first impression. We have heard very good things about American House, so we wanted to try it ourselves and so far we are having a great experience, I would highly recommend this community

I would highly recommend the community, they do a great job. From the activities to the care everything is excellent. Some of the activities include: bingo, parties, parades, and more. The residents look like they are always having fun. The staff try to include all residents in the activities. There is a caretaker that will take time to read to my loved one.

American House is very good care for our loved one, the staff members are very friendly. They are always willing to help our loved one with anything they need without having to raise a fuss. Covid has impacted the meals a little which is unfair just with speaking with our loved one.

The staff was very nice and helpful. But the location and price was not right for us.

My mother loves it and I would recommend you go check it out.

The staff is always friendly and respectful to me and mother. This year has been very difficult for all. Everyone seems to be doing their best to make it easier for all involved.

We were very please with just about everything there. I would HIghly recommend the American House. The food was very good. The room sizes and layout of the community was also very good. They have a patio, courtyard, and fountain for outdoor space for residents s to use.

It is a beautiful, well-maintained community. The staff was very caring. I am pleased with the care my mom is receiving. My mom is in memory care. The room is the right size for her needs. My mom likes the food. They have lovely secured outdoor space for memory care with paths, benches, flowers, and fountains. The communication is poor, hard to get a call back regarding my mom's care. Overall it has been a positive experience

As you walk through the door, I get a feeling of family and community. The staff are friendly and smiling and ready to answer questions or help the residents. The menus have a variety of dishes that are served each day. Residents choose which meal they would like, and the kitchen staff works hard to please each resident. I have enjoyed lots of tasty meals there. The community has different activities each day: Bingo, Cornhole Competitions, Singing, Brain Games, Bible Study and many more. Fridays are special for residents that want to go out to a restaurant to eat as a group and sometimes even a little shopping. Doctors visit Elmcroft twice a week and a nurse administers medication, as well as helping in other ways. If a resident needs to go to say the Veteran's Hospital for appointments, transportation is arranged. There is now PT services on site, also. Finally, I love sitting on the porch in the rocking chairs enjoying the view.

This place is wonderful! Everyone is friendly, the food is terrific for rooms are very nice.

I love American House East Senior Living Roseville. My mother has great care and has made many friends. She is always clean and the food is excellent. Since she has been there, she has been very happy.

I absolutely had my doubts about sending my friend to any assisted living but American House in Livonia was not only attentive to her but always made me completely at ease on how well they took care of her !! They are the best place for your loved one!!!

The place felt 'homey' as soon as we walked in the door. Everyone from the top down is so friendly and caring. They really want to serve and care about the residents. Activities is lacking in some areas but these are being worked on. There is some lack of communication which makes it a little hard at first until you get to know the routine. The food is very good and varied for the most part though a little slow getting on the tables. The dining room is pleasantly appointed and meals are restaurant style. The Director and staff are committed to any improvement to make this place the very best.

Your first impression is an eyeful-has a touch of the old west. Depending on your retirement fund many floorplans to suite your needs. Completely renovated dining room and wide choices of breakfast, lunch and supper weekly entertainment and in house movie theatre with nightly movies. Outdoor heated poo, hot tub l and full service saloon and short order menu. Two community busses to take residences to appointed doctor visits and shopping. Great choice for a new life of independent living and the monthly rental is fair. Forgot to mention each apartment has a washer and dryer.

This facility was clean, friendly and very welcoming! I especially liked the convenience of having Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care all in the same building!

My father has lived at American House Coconut Point in an Independent Living studio for five months. He gave up driving at the same time and was apprehensive of losing his independence. He is so happy living there and has not missed driving. They offer so many activities and have a shuttle that will take him wherever he wants to go along with regular outings to stores and activities. He has made many friends and participates in many of their fun activities. As his daughter, I could not be happier! The employees are so friendly. I never he could be this happy!

My dad received compassionate and loving care while he was at Stonecrest in Town and Country. My family will forever be grateful to the staff.

My father lived at American House Kentwood for 10 months and always received excellent care. He was past the point of wanting to participate in activities, but those activities--both at the home and in the community--were always available. The staff did not turn over much during his stay and was always ready to answer my questions. The care was especially tender during his last days when he was on hospice there. When I asked him whether he was ready to go into hospice, he told me yes, so long as he didn't have to move from where he was.

I moved my mother-in-law in a few weeks ago and I couldn't be happier. The facility is beautiful and spotless, everyone was so nice. Many amenities are available and the dining room is lovely and the food is great. I am sure she will enjoy her apartment and I am glad that I chose American house for her.
