My Mom and Dad moved in the facility near the end of March. So far it has been even better than expected. The community relations rep Tera and the director Abbey have both gone above and beyond what can normally be expected in providing superior customer service. My parents have really enjoyed the food, entertainment, games...

It seemed like a good assisted living. The director and staff was friendly and asked a bunch of questions. The residents their were happy. This maybe the place its clean and nice looking.

We are pretty happy with them. They are awesome, we don't have any complaints, or anything we want improved at this time. I would rate them very highly.

We are very happy, she is doing very well there. She has started getting involved with the community, now that she is all unpacked. It's immaculate, and a well kept. The people are really nice there. We are really happy with it.

We toured this community when we were looking into senior living options for our loved ones. This was a very nice looking place! The staff were all very friendly, the facility was clean and well kept, and the prices were good!

My father was there only 4 days, so I don't have a lot to go on but the staff was very friendly . My husband and I went to visit everyday at different times. Every time the patients seemed to being cared for. My father had a stroke and passed away only after being there....I hope it wasn't because of the changes of leaving his home which was not home to him....I will never know....but I think it would have been a place we would have continued to be happy.

We went to visit this community to see what it was like as we are trying to place my Father into a community. We thought it was great! It is a realy nice place. After visiting this community, we feel like this is the place for my Dad. They have a lot of activities going every day to keep the residents involved.

We visited this community when we were looking into care options for a loved one. I thought this was a very nice looking place! It was clean and the people were friendly. However it was also one of the more expensive places we saw, and out of the price range we were looking in.

Elmcroft was the first place on my list to check out for my 88 year old mother. It was the last place I checked! I was treated to one of the most pleasant experiences of my life!!! Admin, staff and residents were friendly and inviting. I knew immediately I would have the peace of mind I needed in the care for my mom. Since my mom has been there, after a 12 hour trip from Maryland, she has been happy! The facility is clean both inside and out and does not have an "institutional" feel or atmosphere. We toured this community when we were looking into care options for a loved one. This was a beautiful place, the facility was brand new, and the staff all seemed very friendly and professional. However it was also very expensive.

I have visited the American House and would rate them a 5. It was very clean and the staff were friendly. I did not have a meal or attend an activity, but I did look at the menu. This will be the community I choose for my mother.

I visited Park Place and gave them a 5 star rating. it was really nice, the staff was friendly, and it was like being in a luxury hotel. I also liked a couple of other places I looked at, but Park Place was my favorite. It's somewhere I would move into myself.

moving her to elmcroft was a very good decision she's receiving much better care and it's may just a world of difference in her

I toured here. It was a nice place overall. They were very friendly. I was surprised that there were not more inclusive options. When I went I saw the residents at the lunch meal, and that seemed okay. I saw the activity rooms but I didn't get to see the activities in progress. There is some difficulty with having one loved one that has high care level needs, and one that is fairly independent.

Friendly staff, clean building, good food.

WE FINALLY FOUND A PLACE THAT WE COULD BE AT EASE PUTTING OUR UNCLE THERE. WHEN WE TOURED TO THE COMMUNITY, IT WAS QUITE A DELIGHTFUL EXPERIENCE AND VERY REASSURING TO KNOW HE WOULD BE SO WELL TAKEN CARE OF, AND IN SUCH A NICE COMMUNITY TOO. COULD NOT BE ANY HAPPIER WITH THE CARE AND OVERALL SERVICES OFFERED TO THESE RESIDENCE.

The community is a very clean and a good match for my parents, with other couples their age. The staff is very friendly, they have in home care help. The food servers are very good and helpful, though my parents have been disappointed with the food sometimes. The only problem was the snow removal was a little disappointing, it was hard to get to a safe place at the front entrance for my father in his wheel chair to get in the car. Oh, the two bedroom one bath apartment is nice and spacious compared to others i have seen. I really enjoyed the service provided by For A Place For Mom.

We toured a number of communities before choosing American House Jenison. The community provided everything we were looking for and we felt the value was great for my mother. The staff is knowledgeable and available for contact for questions. They are also friendly, alert and do provide medication management. My mother feels that the food is in good portions. She has lost a little weight, which she was thrilled about. She has participated in a few of the activities and has won a few dominoes challenges. The community has outings to the grocery store and sometimes restaurants. The only issue we found that isn't mentioned in their literature is that the community is faith-based. However, the community has taken steps to include all forms of worship for their residents. Our family is very happy for the help given by A Place for Mom. We are very happy and with the decision we made and relieved that my mother is in a safe and stable environment.

I needed to find a place for my parents and had only two weeks before my dad was discharged from the hospital (broken hip). Their home was unsuitable for recuperation and really for their long term safety and comfort. Bentley and Bonnie, specifically , worked quickly and with a heartfelt effort to make this transition possible. My parents said they were willing to stay for the winter. Well, their feelings about a short term stay changed almost immediately. Within two weeks, my mother began to talk about selling their house and where she would put all her furniture. Every time I visited she would exclaim "we love it here! How did you find this place?" I was elated that they were in a place that not only provided for all of their needs (nursing care, meals, friendship and social activities) but a place where every employee treated them like family. And I'm not exaggerating when I say EVERY person that works at Bentley . This includes staff in the kitchen, maintenance, concierge and the variety of nurses and therapists. It is clear that Bentley raises the bar high when they are hiring. Do not hesitate if you are looking for a comfortable, safe and supportive location for your parents. There is a shuttle every day for errands, doctors appts and sometimes just for a quiet scenic drive around the area. The food is delicious and not institutional at all. American house has been great so far. It's clean and the staff is friendly. The other residents are complaining about the food, they miss having omelettes all the time. My loved likes the food though and thinks there is good variety.
