American House

All of the staff members at the Elmcroft of Brentwood have just been excellent to work with. I have no complaints at all about the facility. I have to give them a five - star rating overall for the facility.

They have done really well with getting my Dad moved in, escorting him to his meals if needed, and attending to his needs. So far I am pleased with the facility.

They are awesome. They are extremely helpful with moving my Mom in to making sure she was comfortable. Now that she has been there a couple of months they are just as kind and considerate as they were in the beginning. Working with A Place for Mom was awesome too. The informational emails were very helpful.

The Commons of Pretty Pond is absolutely very beautiful and clean environment. The staff and the community carry themselves with a lot of respect and dignity and are very helpful. Everyone in the community as well is very respectful.

My wife has only been a resident for a couple weeks but I am very happy with what I have seen so far. The staff and care givers are very friendly and helpful. The facility is very nice both the buildings and the grounds. This makes it nice and easy to take my wife for a walk or ride in her chair. I have been very impressed with the meals both the variety and the quality. I have had a chance to visit with several of the other people who have placed loved ones here and they assure me that I have made a good choice. That makes me very happy coming from people who have nothing to gain by giving me false information.

Things are going very well at Park Place, I'd give them top marks across the board! It's a nice looking, clean place, and people are very friendly.

Mom is doing fine at American House Westland Hunter Senior Living. If we have ever had a few issues they have dealt with it pretty well. Mom has a lot of support there. All of the residents seem to be really happy. There is one young gentleman that works there named George that really stood out. He really tried hard and went out of his way to explain things to us and really took the time. He still helps us out whenever we need it even now that mom lives there.

My father is a current resident and we could not be more pleased with the facility. The staff is very pleasant and always have a smile on their faces. Even the cleaning crew have asked what they could do to brighten my fathers day! The place is very clean and bright and we are very happy that we chose this facility.

At American House Bonita Springs Senior Living the weekend receptionist is a total flake. She absolutely knows nothings. She uses it as an excuse that she only works there the weekend. The weekday receptionist seems to much more concerned and on top of things. She is willing to write down notes and follow up. The care services staff are on top of everything. They have very few outside outings to offer at this facility. They do have a couple of lunches offered. I would like to see them taken to an afternoon play or something like that. The only thing I have seen them offer is dropping them off at K-Mart or something to that affect.

Communication could be better all around. Noticeably between the staff and the family members and also communication from the staff to the medical personnel and between the therapist, or whatever may be.

Well she has only been there for a month so far and I think it's too soon to judge them. They had a change of ownership and they got struck by lightening, so nothihng has been normal. It hasn't been bad, just a little chaotic. I think they are a wonderful facility. They pay attention and they respond quickly, which is good.

A great place for seniors. The management goes out of their way to help their residents. The communication with the staff has been excellent. The meals are adequate. There is no vegetarian food. The downside is that you can't choose your menu. Other than that, everything has been going very good. I would highly recommend the American House Milford Senior Living to anyone. (Activities are not applicable).

I cannot say enough good things about Cedarlake Village. Mom didn't even want to move in the first place, now she loves it. The staff at Cedarlake Village is always so willing to help. I am very impressed with the communication I have with the staff. Everyone is so caring here. My parents are thrilled!

She did receive her medication. She did not like the food however, she thought it was just warmed up from the day before. They should have been trained on how to get someone to participate and be involved. For respit care they need to be more attentive to the families wishes. We wanted our mom to be more involved with the activities, so I was not pleased that they did not try to do that. She was isolated quite a bit and we wanted to her to have more interactions with people. She did not experience what I had hoped she would.

My parents have lived at American House, Cedar Lake for about 2 months and are loving it. The food is exceptional! The people are the best! And the activities are extensive! All in all, no complaints whatsoever...I don't think I could have found a better place for my folks. Although my mom really didn't want to move, she keeps telling me how happy she is!!! And you can't even imagine how that helps us rest easy knowing that they are in a safe, comfortable, and happy place!

I can't say enough great things about Elmcroft of Hamilton Place. The Executive Director goes above and beyond and the staff have been amazing in helping my grandmother adjust to her new home!

Overall things have gone very well for my loved ones at American House Jenison! The facility itself is well kept and clean, and the staff is friendly and professional. My loved one really seem happy here!

As a whole, I think it's a very nice place. I think that what they can improve on is making sure that they have someone at the front desk at all times. I think it's important that someone is there so random people don't just walk in. Overall, I like the facility.

They've done a very good job overall at American House Riverview, I would give them high marks across the board! The staff here is friendly and professional, and they do a really excellent job engaging with the residents and getting to know each person as an individual. They've been very accommodating and easy to work with in general. The facility itself is well kept and clean, and has a welcoming friendly atmosphere!

The American House Village Senior Living is a wonderful facility. It has been working out great for my loved one. The facility is always clean. The staff has been very friendly and helpful. The value is great. The care services are great. They offer many activities to keep the residents busy. Everything has been going great. This is an excellent facility. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place.
