American House

Our family was in a difficult situation and American House has been amazing, it has been the best fit for our loved one. They were life savers to our family and we appreciate everything they have done. Everyone we have spoken with has spoken highly of the meals and dining service, and we have even eaten meals ourselves and they have not disappointed.

I have worked at this facility for 4 years. The working environment is great, the management team is great too and the residents are very friendly and fun to work with.I wouldn’t trade this place to any other place,I’ve been able to grow my skills and gain more experience.

Our family had an in person tour set up but once the doctor advised our loved one needed memory care we did not tour this community because it was only assisted living and independent living. However the people spoke with were very lovely, and very forth coming. We felt if we had any questions even if we weren't moving our loved in, that they would be very helpful and accommodating.

My mother was a resident at AH Kentwood until she passed away in April 2018. Sadly she was only there for 14 months. She was in the Riverstone Bldg in memory care. From the moment we made contact to her final breath this was truly a fabulous place. The staff was very accessible. I lived out of town and the team was great in keeping me up to date about my mom. She was as happy there as she would have been anywhere. We made a donation of something in error, [name removed] (the now ex-executive director) is no longer there to text which is why I am now searching for someone to speak with. The nice thing about my quest is I get to add to reviews long neglected.

They do a great Job of keeping clean, and service is good.

I really liked this community but my loved one was not ready to go into a community just yet. I thought this would be the one we picked but my loved ones health changed and more care was needed.

I'm glad I moved my mother here. Staff is very helpful, especially [name removed].

My loved one currently lives here and she is very happy! There are a lot of activities to do or to not do. The choice is hers. It is independent living so no intrusive people coming to "check" on her every couple of hours but I have peace of mind knowing she is not alone. Someone is always on duty to help. Food is great and servers kind, they do work a lot of hours but good help is hard to find. They have maid service weekly at no extra cost and their driver takes mom wherever she needs, within reason and area. Cost is on the high side but worth it in my opinion and my mom's. She feels safe, the building is kept up and they are always trying to update colors on walls, floors and general appearance. The office staff is great! Those ladies are something else! Always available to talk to me if I have any concerns. They truly care about the people living there. It is definitely this families blessing to know our loved ones are well cared for and loved!!

Elmcroft was not the fanciest nor nicest place that we visited but the staff was just fantastic and that is why we chose Elmfroft over the other communities.

Overall it's been a very good experience. Every family and individual's needs are different, and it's still new, so we're still navigating through that. But the staff go above and beyond and really do try. My mom has some very unique special needs, and they're really trying to accommodate as best they can. My parents are pretty happy with the food. And I feel like the cost is competitive with the other places that I looked at.

Anthology of Wildwood is an amazing place to work. With a max occupancy of 87 residents, our care team and the residents are able to have much richer relationships. It’s an amazing place to be.

This is an outstanding community! The staff is very attentive and helpful. They always make sure the care of the residents is a top priority. Thank you for all you’ve done for our family. Also this community is gorgeous.

Beautiful location, wonderful staff and extremely attentive management!

Due to our loved ones health they are not able to participate in the activities, but when we do visit the activities look wonderful. What really stood out to us at first was the friendliness and professionalism of the staff members and the overall appearance of the community.

Our family had an in person tour and Anthology was our second choice, but it ultimately came down to the price which is why we went with another community.

We chose Elmcroft of Kingsport because they offered memory care and they sold themselves during the inquiry really, the tour was great. They have a lot of nurses on staff so the ratio was great and that means they take good care of their residents. I would recommend to others looking.

We love American House and have really gotten to know all of the people there. We do volunteer church services every other week, and we love going and the residents love having us. We really could not ask for nicer people. The management has been very accommodating when it comes to the finances, and we overall are just excited about American House. Our loved one has never complained about the food which is a good thing. The director of memory care and even the night time nurse just go above and beyond for our family. They go out of their way to send us pictures of our loved ones, they go out of their way calling different doctors for us and even setting up physical therapy for our loved one. They are amazing.

Toured the community and liked everything I saw. All the residents seemed happy and the building was nice and clean.

The community is very good for being so new. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

This is a great place and community for a loved one that needs to go here. The staff are very pleasant and make sure that the job is done. The food is good and it is very pleasant also.
