American House

This community was very nice but it felt dark and huge. They just did not like the way it was set up and it was too far away from where I lived.

We had a very good tour at Elmcroft of Hamilton Place. I had no problems with it. Our tour guide was very informative, upfront, and thorough. The place was clean. Really the only issue was our personal preference for a one-story facility. I felt that with the two levels at Elmcroft, it wasn't suitable for our loved one to have to drive her wheelchair and get on elevator for meals and such.

It has worked out well. Our loved one is happy here. It's clean. The staff is personable and kind. It's a small enough community that you feel like they really know the patients and the families. I appreciate the more personal touch. And this is the only place that our loved one has not complained about, which says a lot.

With the exception of COVID quarantine-we are very pleased!

Most accommodating! They try to make you as comfortable as possible! We had them furnish the furniture and oh it is ever so nice and comfortable. Truly so so nice! Very happy with American Housing!

From the Admin staff, to the kitchen staff, to the health and wellness aides, my mom had a beautiful experience. She was well taken care of and enjoyed her time at Park Place. Thank you all.

We loved everything we saw during our tour with Elmcroft. If our experience does not turn out at the facility we chose, we will definitely be coming here!

When we moved on there were only a few people. There were a few kinks that had to be worked out but for a brand new facility it was to be expected I have found the staff and residents very friendly and helpful . .

We are 90 years of age and lived in Gainesville , Florida for 34 years. We decided it was time to look for a smaller home. Our Daughter found American House and we drove over and decided to take a tour. We were here two hours and we signed the lease. We have been here two months and WE LOVE IT1 Our two bedroom two bath apartment has a delightful porch overlooking the swimming pool. a big kitchen with great appliances. Our furniture fit just great and we are very happy. We have met so many friendly people and the staff have been so helpful. The greatest treat of all is I have not cooked a meal since we arrived. We have had a healthy selection of food to eat and the dining room is very comfortable, Who ever chose the furniture and decorations did a marvelous job, We have joined in on many activities and we find the happy hour to be fun.

I have felt a strong, caring sense of community here. Staff and residents are very nice and respectful of one another. The amenities are great.

My mother lived in her own home by herself until March of this year when she had a fall,. She was in a rehab facility for two weeks and then moved to a retirement facility which she hated. When American House opened and she knew she could not go back to her own home, she moved into American House. It is a new, beautiful facility with a caring staff. My mother has three children in town and we all visit regularly, so we see the residents, staff and facility often. My mother gets wonderful meals and a variety of social opportunities . It seems as if there is a party going on every week. She is transported to doctors’ appointments, shopping trips and other activities. She is looking forward to a picnic at Fort Desoto park this week. It is a relief to me and my family that our mom is in a place that we all are comfortable with, knowing that her needs are taken care of in a beautiful setting.

It is bright and clean and the process to tour, reserve and move in was easy. The staff is so kind and helpful to the residents/families. It is a great community with activities that keep the residents busy and happy daily without having to leave home with opportunities to venture out into the community as well. Our favorites are the pub, the pool and the salon. With so many Amenities included we were also very happy about the cost. We are so happy to have found this place for my dad!

American House is a warm and caring place where seniors can thrive. A variety of activities daily provide the opportunity to interact with others and help maintain both physical and cognitive skills. The staff is supportive, helpful, and friendly. The food Is delicios too.

Mom is super happy , calm and loving her life her at American House . She actually told her grandchildren that she feels like she is living in a movie . From touring the community before it was even completed, to move in and now her daily life, every aspect was more than what we expected . The staff is super sweet and takes each resident and makes them feel welcome and comfortable and at home . This is her home . She has made wonderful friends , has taken part in activities that she hasn’t done before . It makes me feel at ease knowing how vibrant a life she is living . This community is number one in our eyes !!

We are thrilled with this beautiful facility and the care provided. The apartments and common areas are lovely and spacious. The staff truly cares for its residences and the new chef is making delicious meals. Please check out American House. You won’t be disappointed.

Our family had an in person tour and we really did like this community a lot but it was just a little out of our price range.

If you're looking for a place that has care and love and kindness and concern for not only the patient but for the people putting them into American House, you couldn't ask for a better place. We were also very taken with the setting. My loved one's apartment overlooked the swimming pool, garden, and cattle out in a back field. It felt just like we were back home.

Anthology of Wildwood was hands down the best facility that we saw out of all of the ones we toured. I was extremely impressed with the facility and the staff. If we were to do it over again and my parents moved closer, we would have definitely chosen Anthology.

Warm, caring community enlightened management, life enrichment and reality. Gave my wife and I 3 more years to our love story. I am forever grateful.
