American House

This is a nice place, but the health care part is iffy. The nursing staff doesn't communicate well with the residents and families. This specifically applies to getting things coordinated. I feel that they didn't want to communicate and it made me feel that it wasn't any of our business. Hospice was also in there for my loved one, and they saved me with their great communication.

Before COVID the activities were great, there was four different craft areas and during the day they brought in outside events. Our place now is a two bedroom and we were able to bring the furniture we wanted, it is a perfect fit for me, There are also different variety of rooms structures to choose from.

The community has been wonderful. The time I have spent there the staff is amazing and cheerful. The community has always been clean when we visit. The community was wonderful in working with to get my loved transitioned into this community.

Both my wife and I love this community, the cleanliness of the community is well done. The staff is great, and we think the value is fantastic. We are getting very good care. We do like the activities, however now with COVID it is difficult, but the activities director does a super job. We like this new bean bag game that is on Wednesday, and playing card.

We chose American House because of the affordability, the location, and past experience with relatives being here. The apartment sizes here are spacious. I have eaten here before COVID and the meals were very nice. Now with COVID, they are delivering the meals to the residents and everything is prepackaged. The best part about this community has been the socialization for my mother in law, and for us, they are great at keeping us informed. I would recommend.

this community is a great place to live. normally they get to go out and have lots of activities and they are working hard to continue activities with covid. The staff is very friendly and amazing. I would recommend this community.

I am a diabetic, I need a full diabetic diet, breakfast, lunch, dinner. I do get some sugar free dessert to help! When I was at home my readings work good. I have been fighting this for a full year since I now live here my readings were 150 to 200. Some of it is because a lot of stress, trying to do better! Thank you!

I feel safe here. Staff is friendly and helpful. The meals are very good, balanced and varied. Pleasant surroundings and clean. I am very happy here and enjoying pampering very much. Everyone goes out of their way to accommodate us.

The people here are very nice. The med team, the housekeeping, the dining room. The staff is great also. And also [names removed] are great also.

My wife and I feel safe at American House. We find that this is a great place to spend your retirement years. The staff are terrific helping with all our needs. Any friends we have made at American House and complements make new one. American Houses great!
