American House

We chose American House Murfreesboro because the director was so nice and so welcoming and just made us feel like we were going to be a part of the family. The room sizes are ok, he has a one bedroom with a shared bathroom but he does not have a closet which I find strange. It is a very peaceful and quiet atmosphere and since it is a smaller community, all of the residents know one another. I would recommend them to others looking.

Our loved ones stay was short but the overall experience was excellent. The staff members were super nice and they had assigned one care taker to our loved one during her stay that really took care of all of her needs - we were very impressed. They were putting new carpets in the facility and doing updates which was nice. The apartment was bright and cheery and they did have some activities but she was just not there long enough to really settle in

This is a good fit for my loved one. The staff seem good to work with if we have questions or concerns about our loved one.

We looked at several places and when we came to visit Anthology we fell in love with the property. It is very updated and modern, the building is only about 7 years old. The staff were so warm and inviting and we just felt comfortable from the moment we walked in. I like the layout of the memory care unit, it almost feels like a hotel setting and is very spacious. We have not had any issues and he is very content here and he has not been that way in a while. They have an activity every half hour to 45 minutes between 9:30 and 3:30. There is always something for them to do. They have a projector TV where they do travel without passports, they make cupcakes, do fitness classes, etc. You name it, they have it. He has never been someone to participate but now he is. I have an app on my phone and I get alerts when he participates and it shows me what he did. I wish we would have found this place sooner, it has been a great experience for our family.

My mom thinks the food is wonderful. She loves the staff. The apartment is a small studio, but it's very nice and everything she needs. It came fully furnished, which was a big plus for us. We looked at other American House facilities in neighboring areas, and they were not as nice as this one.

I have been here for 3 months. so impressed by the staff. everyone is friendly and so caring. if you have a problem it's covered in 24 hours. each resident seems to be watched out.

My mother-in-law is certainly blessed to have moved from Virginia to Florida in [date removed] to live here during dream that is “living life to the fullest.” My mother-in-law, husband, and I are eternally grateful to American House Wildwood to assist us to give Mom a new The gift of where she can spread her wings and start a new chapter in her life. From the bottom of my heart we want to thank all the Wildwood American House employees my mother-in-law has the desire to look Beyond the Horizon. Wildwood American house is a treasure and a blessing to all of us!

American House Hendersonville was our second choice. The facility is wonderful and the staff members were all friendly and attentive. It seemed like a great place to have a loved one.

I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The staff are fine to work with. They have good meals, lots of activities, and they are friendly here. All the meals, local transportation, laundry, housekeeping, utilities, basic cable, and changing of linens are included in the monthly rate. When I make a comparison of what it was costing for my house and here at Beach House it is nearly the same price. There are three menus a day for meals, plus they have an alternative menu the residents can order off. They just hired a new chef from San Francisco.

Even though they are currently undergoing construction the community is very clean. We have not had first hand experience with the meals but every time we do come to visit they look great. It sees like they have different activities going on all the time, there are magic shoes, all different card games and they even bring in different speakers. Based on our experience so far we would recommend the American House community to other families.

Staff is amazing here! Very kind and helpful. My dad has lived here for over a year now and even though he is a quiet person he has made a lot of friends. Great sense of community. Great food with lots of choices. A variety of activities He can be included in as a little or as much as he wants to. This was a much easier transition than anticipated. Dad and the family have all been happy with him moving here.

I like all of the assistance I receive here at Beach House. staff is very friendly and helpful. housekeeping is great! I enjoy all of the activities offered here. I love living at Beach House.

We have been really happy with the American House so far, they got our parents in one room together which is what we wanted. They also put them in an area close by to another married couple. They were more then willing to work with us and make our loved ones comfortable. They have painting classes, drawing classes and sewing classes. They have different board games, and our loved one is so good at trivia that the staff even enjoy trivia night. The reason we have the meals a 4 out of 5 star is because they are almost to fancy for our loved ones.

This is a great place in all areas. For us one of the biggest things is that it is close to our house so we are able to get to our loved one more frequently. They do have a lot of activities for the residents to do things in the community. The staff are great, the person who is in charge of my loved ones cottage gave us her number to contact her at any time. They are great with keeping us informed and letting us know if anything is needed.

I encourage others to move to The Palms at Fort Myers, it is great. The staff and residents are wonderful. The staff are terrific to work with if I have any questions or concerns. The apartment, housekeeping, two meals a day, changing of linens, activities, satellite and, electricity are included in the monthly fee. The food is good, and we have a new food service. The breakfast is really good. There is always some type of activities going on for the residents to choose from. Dominos, card games, cornhole, presentations, bowling, outside entertainment, and more are some of the activities available. There is transportation available if needed.

Everyone at this community is really nice. This community is very expensive but they offer great things. This is a very nice and safe place for your loved one. You just have to be prepared financially for the community. They have activities like a movie theater, a work out room, a barbershop/beauty shop, a chapel and more for the residents to do. They also have outings for the residents and everyday there is something different to do. This is a active community as long as the person wants to be active.

What really sold us on American House Sarasota was the spacious room sizes that they offered. The food is delicious, they are chef prepared meals and residents get a variety to choose from off of an extensive menu. It has a great atmosphere, we were worried about moving them in and it has ended up being a great fit for the both of them and they really enjoy it here. Our family would definitely recommend them to others.
