American House

I picked this community because of, the location, and [name removed] at American House was AMAZING with understanding and speaking with my loved one. Also, I loved the apartment, that my loved one has but wish they had a cover for the stove or removed it since unable to use. It could have been more counter space.

Mom lived a very independent life prior to moving into Town and country Anthology. Mom continues to do most things for herself (by choice)so the transition has been an easy one. She loves the food, staff and care that she receives and naturally refers to this place as home. My family has never doubted her decision to move here and love to come for lunches and dinners when they are able to find the time. A fun place to live and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

I've been in senior living for just a short period of time, and all i can say is that this community loves their residents. It is a joy to see how happy the residents are and how they talk with the staff. It takes quality care to the next level.

My husband and I toured this facility and thought it was beautiful. When you walk in, there's so much brightness. The common areas were clean and the staff were friendly. It was comforting to see the sales person talking and knowing people by name. We asked some people who live there what they think and they shared their honest opinions. They seemed very happy and enjoyed living there.

My favorite part about living at Anthology Town and Country is the engagement with my peers. I love learning about their lives and hearing about their own experiences in life. Just so much history here, ya know?

We had a really good experience with American House Zephryhills. I would definitely tell others to go check this facility out for yourselves.

This is a very nice community. It works well for my loved one, and is one story. My loved one has made friends quickly here. [name removed], has helped my loved one so much in doing daily tasks. The staff communication with the family has been great, they are responsive to our questions and concerns. A few things we like about the community is that it is close to family, there are no elevators, and wonderful staff to be able to support the residents are all reasons we love American House Brentwood! There are three meals a day served to the residents. Lunch is the largest meal of the day with a dessert, and dinner is a sandwich, soup, and salad.

Location was important to us. The facility seemed homey. They offer housekeeping. We would recommend them to friends and family.

Everyone here is so accommodating and the staff is great with all the residents. It is a joy to see their smiling faces and see that they are well taken care of. The facility just got new paint and lights for the facility as well, and it looks really good, and it looked just as great as before too.

We chose American House Bartlett because of the size of the room and the facility. The location as it related to family and the cost were other reasons. They are very attentive to the needs of the patient and the family. You can tell they genuinely care.

This community, and I do mean community, is one of the nicest. The size is just right with all of the employees and residents knowing the name of each and every person here. Once you come here you are family. The residents and family truly care about and watch out for each other.

Mom fell in love with this facility the second she saw it. This was the only place that we found that fit her budget and it has been a great experience. They have tons of activities provided, the calendar offers a lot of variety. I have eaten here and the food is great. The person that we toured with [name removed] the sales and marketing director so nice and easy to talk to and answered all of my questions. [name removed] who works the front desk is also extremely helpful and friendly. She goes above and beyond. Mom was without a phone the first month due to difficulties with comcast and I was calling [name removed] and she was relaying messages to my mother. I would absolutely recommend Traditions of Mill Creek to others

I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The staff were good to my loved one and they took great care of my loved one during my loved one's time here. All the staff we encountered were good to work with. The staff communication with the family was good and they kept us updated.

They are wonderful. The care services is great. My loved loves the food. They have breakfast, lunch and dinner. They offer a list of items on the menu, if the resident don't see something that they like. The apartment is nice, and the people are kind, and friendly. We picked this community, because it was fair better than other places, and it was a newer community. I would recommend to other families. Covered parking would be nice, along with a gated community. It would be great if they also added skilled nursing down the line.

My only issue is : I would like staff to check or/provide guidance a bit more. For example: encourage her to get into night clothes/brush her teeth before bed

The staff is very friendly, I would recommend the community to others. My loved one seems to really like it here. The location is good, the facility is very nice. There is a lot of community activities offered to the resident and the staff seems to care about the residents.

My father has to be quickly moved into a retirement facility. I had no idea where to start & a nursing friend recommended APFM. Instead of moving to FL he's going back to Atlanta but [name removed]was a tremendous help. He decided over Florida on Atlanta since his old doctors & friends are there.

I toured this facility and the Assisted Living level seemed great! They have great amenities, including a movie theatre and café. I knew the Director of Nursing from another facility and she's amazing, I trust her 100%. It's clean, beautiful, and apartment like living. The Memory Care unit is a different story, it's not designed well and super hard to navigate. The living room area is small and residents don't gather or interact. I wouldn't put my loved one here for Memory Care, but again the Assisted Living seemed great.

I loved this facility. It’s brand new and just gorgeous. It has a pool. Every single unit has its own balcony or patio. It's a really lovely facility. The staff was very nice. I liked that everything is completely contained in one building, which I think would have been a better match for my mom. They provide more meals a day included in their pricing. If it had been closer to my house, we likely would have chosen it. I just wish I could have literally picked it up from its location and moved it closer to me!

The community is clean but we do not think our loved ones room is cleaned very often. We have not had experience with the food but our loved one says it is not great. Our loved one loves the trivia and bingo. Overall we think they are all over priced but is why value gets 4 stars.
