American House

It seems very friendly and caring. We chose it because of the ala carte services and the size and layout of the apartment. I would recommend.

We have previous experience with American House Coconut Point, my loved one is not currently a resident. However, I loved this place and would choose it for my own home when needed!

This is definitely the place for your loved one. The staff is great. It is like a resort. As soon as you walk thru the door you can feel the love. The Activity director goes above and beyond for entertainment for the residents. The food is wonderful with a wide variety on the menu. The dining room is elegant. Beautiful courtyard and swimming pool . If I was concerned about our loved one, it was addressed right away. The access to medical care is great. They come to the facility. I looked at many places before we found American House. We walked thru the door and said “ this is the place”.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. [Name removed] was our tour guide and she was very knowledgeable and helpful without being pushy. The meals have been very good and there are many options to choose from. The holiday decorations have been outstanding, giving it a very home like feel. There are a variety of activities to be involved with. I would recommend American House to those looking for Independent Living! As of yet, we have not experienced Assisted Living. A big shout out to [name removed] for being a great go to person!

The staff go above and beyond the call of duty to make Mom’s life great. When she pushes her button (even by mistake), they are at her side quickly. [name removed] responded immediately when Mom had a TIA recently and she stayed with her until I arrived. I can’t say enough about how much that meant to me and our entire family! The food is fabulous but even a great menu gets boring when you eat it all the time. Mom loves to eat healthy and doesn’t have too much interest in meat. We would love a greater variety of vegetable dishes and soups but we know she is the anomaly, so we will be content with the selection and I will continue to augment her food. Mom loves the game euchre and really only wants to play that game. Since she arrived, they have been trying to find her a group of players (the game requires 4 players) but it has not happened yet… Once she recovers fully from the Shingles, I intend to take on getting this handled; maybe by offering to train the residents on the game. They have a great residents council and welcomed Mom to the team. She has already formed some good friendships and lasting relationships and looks forward to doing more when she is feeling better.

The employees have been so helpful with my mother’s move and transition. We have been pleased with the activities and the meals as well. My mom has been enjoying the activities and has quickly gotten involved.

What our family likes the most about the Beach House Assisted Living and Memory Care community is the staff. Their staff team is incredibly caring and we would absolutely recommend this community to other families based on the experience so far.

[name removed] is the only one I spoke to, and she could not have been better. My experience was a great one. The facility was nice without being too uppity.

To me its a good blessing. I am extremely well taken care of but more important my wife has the best care in memory care. I am active in lots of activities.

Im in independent living and don't have a need for care. By observation, it appears very good. The meals are VERY GOOD. They're short-staffed, so now we're getting our meals buffet style, but they took extra care of a blind resident friend, today ( her first meal w the new system). There are a lot of activities available for those who want them. This is the least expensive in the area but the quality is very good. Admin. staff is very willing to help residents and support staff as well. Everyone here works as a team. The director, activities director, housekeeping director, executive secretary AND cook, have all come to help w serving the meals because of the staffing shortage in that department. ( That's why they went to buffet style, 2 servers could not handle the 70 diners, even tho the residents were split into 2 different shifts. (21 tables, 3-4 per table; plus the 20+ residents who are getting their meals delivered.) It's a good place to be.

They take great care of our mother! One of the directors that is name [name removed] was so very helpful in helping us transitioning our mom there. The tour and all our questions she answered you could feel the love from her in during her job.

I would say it's great but it's new and still has some experience to get under its belt. I picked American House because the facility is gorgeous, the price worked with my family's income and it's close to friends who would visit my mom.

My Uncle has been here over 6 months. I've visited him ever week last 6 months. Everyone at this Assisted Living Facility is awesome. SALES, Front desk people, nurses, Cooks...AWESOME. Best is my uncle is happy. I've had prior experience with my inlaws at other ALF's. THE PALMS are Ft Myers is the finest.

My Aunt needed a home away from and that's what she found at The Palms. It lasted for over a year, unfortunately her health deteriorated and she has had to move on. But she enjoyed helping her fellow residents, she enjoyed the activities, and she enjoyed her apartment.

My husband and I moved into American House Cocnut Point after we lost our home due to flooding from the hurricane. We have been extremely happy with choosing American House. All employees have been so kind and welcoming. I would definitely recommend American House to everyone looking for a great place to live.

I am a current resident at American House Coconut Point. I have been very happy with the variety of activities that are always going on. I enjoy all meals at American House from the delicious food to the staff that makes sure I enjoy my dining experience.

Everyone is welcoming & a family feel atmosphere! I come to visit my Dad & the staff knows me by name. Whenever I've had concerns about Dad's care, the staff is there to listen & give solutions to help! The building has been remodeled inside & so beautiful! I highly recommend that you take a tour & get to know the staff! They genuinely care about their residents & family. You will see for yourself. And now that it's December, everything is decorated beautifully for Christmas!!
