American House

I've been living here for 2 years and I can honestly say I can't think of anything I don't like about this place.

What we like the most about The Palms of Fort Myers is the friendliness of the staff, and yes we would recommend this community to other families. The Palms also has a swimming pool and hot tube

My aunt had not seen American House until the day we moved her in. Her first comment was how very clean and pretty it was. Yes, I certainly would recommend this community to other families. My first impression of American House was how much sunshine was in the lobby

When your loved goes to American House Hendersonville, you become family. You can go in anytime you want. They have family night every month. As far as the food goes, I think they could use more money in the budget and add more flavors.

A cozy home for me. I enjoy all the activities, friends I've made here and the outings are great! This community is clean and the staff is friendly.

Comfortable senior living apartment love my first floor apartment with Apallo exit to parking. Feels like a cozy house instead of apartment.

Nice facility ,very pleased with my experience with the people I dealt with. All the residents seem very happy also. Probably overpriced but aren't they all. Loved the administration they were very helpful.

This is a wonderful place. Everyone is so kind. They have made my mom’s transition into her new home very nice. The place is very clean. The food is good. The staff is always there to help. They have family night once a month. And fun activities every day

My mother has been here for 3 yrs and just recently celebrated her 100th birthday. The staff is compassionate and caring. Facilitated a wonderful birthday celebration.The facility is well maintained. She has totally enjoyed their meals and homemade soups. She requires assisted living and the on-site care provided by AdvisaCare has also been very caring

I took a tour, I really like there staff that knows all residents name all day meals. I really love this place.

I am so pleased since I have arrived to American House. Wonderful staff active everyday something to do. Food wonderful too.

The nursing staff is competent and caring. They go the extra mile in seeing to the needs of the residents. Those who take care of janitorial work are friendly and polite. Their work is top notch. The activities available are well planned. That staff is also friendly.

The caregivers are amazing and truly care. Everyone knew my mom in just a few days and took good care of her. We would 100% recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far

My father-in-law became ill and quickly needed an assisted living facility. Years ago I found a facility for my own father and during my search learned that the most important thing was the staff, not the building or the amenities. I also learned that many facilities “nickel and dime” you for everything, even for toilet paper. American House is not one of these. I feel their pricing is reasonable for the excellent service they provide. We visited many local facilities and after visiting American House, knew our search was over. The staff was welcoming and wanted to help us in any way they could. They worked with us to best understand his needs and how their facility could optimally care for him. As an example, Dad had difficulty walking so they reserved a room close to the nursing station, common area, and dining room to make his life easier. We are very thankful to American House for making my father-in-law’s last year the best it possibly could have been for him and for us.

Dad lived 13 hours away from here when I suddenly needed an assisted living facility for him local to me. American House was the only facility near me that actually wanted to help me choose the best place for Dad. They truly cared about him and his needs, unlike other assisted living locations that simply wanted to show off their facility and fill a vacant room even if they weren’t a good fit for him. All the staff at American House bent over backwards to accommodate us getting him moved in on very short notice, despite difficulties from the rehab facility he was coming from in NJ. Everyone there took excellent care of him and treated him with dignity. They are all friendly, helpful, communicative, and work extremely hard taking care of the residents. Dad was very happy there. I could not have chosen a better place for him - it was a perfect fit for him and his family. In fact, Dad died a year ago and I still keep in touch with the staff, as we are "all kin."

I have had lunch with my sister several times. They only charge [fee removed] and the food is very good.

We arranged for our parents to move into the assisted living side ~3 months ago. 8 days prior to move-in, my mom fell, broke a hip, had surgery & was in rehab for 5 weeks. The fall/surgery impacted her dementia greatly resulting with her moving into memory care upon release from rehab. Her care in memory care was phenomenal with care & concern around the clock. Unfortunately she had a stroke, never recovered & passed away. During this time AH was so good to our dad, comforting him with kindness & true concern. He is adjusting slowly to all the changes in his life but we have Peace of Mind knowing he’s taken very good care of and allows us to focus on him when visiting rather than constantly working if he was home. Recommend AH for anyone with elderly family members.

Overall look was inviting and peaceful. Staff were very professional and helpful. Price was competitive.

Enjoy living here and will stay forever.. This is my house.
