I think this community does a wonderful job, the building is clean and very well maintained. People are friendly. I can't think of anything I don't like about this place!

Everyone on staff went above and beyond to make sure my friend had the utmost of care. His family and I are deeply grateful for the level of care and the attention to his needs American House provided. We would not hesitate to recommend American.

They offer special deals from time to time on new incoming people. Apartment sizes are spacious with lots of storage space. They also have balconies.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. All of our questions and concerns were answered with a quick response. Mom is adjusting well, we find the cooked meals and laundry service to be very convenient. With bingo, a puzzle room and a meeting area there seems to be lots to do.

Mom is very happy there and well cared for. I get regular updates and know most of the care staff by name. Yes, we would absolutely recommend this community to other families

American House in Grabd Blanc, MI has been a good choice for my 97y/o mother. Even though it has taken my mom a while to acclamate. The staff is constantly helpful & the residents are warm and friendly.

The facility is well kept, and the staff is attentive to needs. Room is large for a studio. Grounds are lovely .Activities for those who want to participate.

My dad ended up not going there. I can just say that we were happy with the process of getting him in and it seemed like a nice place. We had to back out last minute. That lady who we worked with [name removed] was great.

No complaints. I like it very much here. It's so much better for me.

Needing a place where a couple could live together with one having dementia issues American House has been able to accommodate us very well. We have both been very pleased with life here. Food is very good and good live entertainment frequent. Staff has been excellent.

After numerous falls at home and unhealthy coping skills, my mother was admitted to the hospital after a fall and diagnosed with a fractured neck and dementia. She spent two weeks at the hospital and two weeks at rehab. My 82 yr old stepfather was unable to continue being her caregiver. American House has been the answer to my prayers! We set up her apartment which is absolutely adorable but she was angry and cross when she realized she wasn’t going home. The staff was absolutely ASTONISHING with her from the moment she arrived! They listened to her frustrations, held her hand and promised her that this was for the best. Within 3 weeks she was LOVING it! She’s been there 2 months now and attends activities, Bible studies and helps set up dining room. She feels “needed” now and loves the residents and staff immensely. I can’t say enough about how friendly and loving the staff is. They treat the residents just like family. It’s a wonderful place and I’m thankful she’s happy!

We are happy with the care he is receiving. He has been able to move from using a wheelchair primarily to his walker frame. The staff are very proactive with signing him up for any special practitioner they think he would benefit from

This is a great place my mom [name removed] has dementia and since she has been there her improvement has been better, also she has a nice apartment with access to the garden area and a patio, and they play bingo she loves, Rachel and the staff is nice to us and her, I highly recommend this place for your loved ones.

American House in Spring Lake is a well maintained comfortable assisted living apartment for my father. The people are helpful and friendly. I am more comfortable with my father living here.

Staff was way understaffed while my mother was there. But the staff that was there ALL pitched in to do Over & Above to care for my mother. Greatly appreciated!!!! The food was tolerable at best, I usually just brought in food from home

I give them all a five. Yes, I would recommend American House to other families. A neighbor of my dads recently moved from her home into this facility after visiting there

I moved here from another community and I made the best choice. The building is very clean, people are friendly and I love the parties here. I've made a lot of friends, very happy here.
