American House

Zero concerns now. What we like the most about American House is the location, how clean it is and how comforting it is. I would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had.

I have lived at the American House Park Place for one year and could not be happier. I'm as happy today as the day I moved in. It is in a great location with a wonderful staff. I looked at three other senior independent living facilities before moving and, to this day, feel that I definitely made the right decision moving here.

American House is a pet friendly facility. One and two bedroom apartments offered, continental breakfast available every single morning and a chef prepared noon meal consistently wonderful! All utilities and services included in the monthly rent - Ithis is a wonderful place to live!

We had a great experience at American house. They took a really good care of my mom. The staff was friendly. The facilities were clean. She had her own room and bathroom and it was very affordable. I highly recommend!

[name removed].. was a blessing, she listened to me and went above and beyond to find an affordable home for my mom. She talked to me, listened to my concerns and we found a new home for my mom. It has everything I was hoping for, diverse with lots of activities.

Great food and activities, I have made so many new friends.

The cost has increased in a major way at the first of the year. If that is true every year it will price me out of the market also for any similar facility. I would definitely recommend this community to other families based on my experience

Everyone is very friendly. Nice small community.

I actually did show two people around the facility. It is very nice. It is very clean. There are a lot of activities to do. The rooms are very nice and spacious. It takes a minute to figure out where stuff is. The only thing that we had a little bit of an issue was the meals. Perhaps there should be a little bit more of a selection for dinner at times, but the chef was very nice and walked me through the menu. The garden areas are so nice. Everybody can have their own special touches in the hallway. They try to do the best to make it feel like it is your space.

American House is amazing, everyone there is wonderful to my mother. [name removed] is wonderful and so helpful. All the places I visited was nice, I chose American House because of her.

Everyone at American House is nice and they have good entertainment. They put on different theme parties and activities for the residents and they have a library. Based on the experience we have had, we would recommend American House Cedarlake to other families who may need a place for their loved ones. Everyone is nice. Good entertainment. Moved from another community and I feel like my outlook has completely changed. I am so happy and grateful, I found American House!

I am very happy living here. Everyone is so friendly. i feel alive again. I am always with friends, doing something I enjoy.

My sister-in-law just loves it there. She said she never wants to leave. The food is great and the people too.

Staff is all friendly and help where they can. Medical staff is an outside service that varies by person. The move in process was pretty simple, they gave lots of info. Meals vary, and tend to be softer food or food in a sauce. I would like to see a 24 hour shop/vending area with snacks. And an option at mealtime for easy foods like fish sticks/chicken tenders or even empanadas or pizza rolls/hot pockets. I would recommend the facility. I do also recommend the potential client walk the building. It's bigger than it looks!

They are very helpful and supportive of not only resident but their families. It has been a great experience. Apartments are generous in size. Amenities are in abundance and activities are held daily.

The location of American House Riverview is close by where my parents lived and also close to the hospital. Be ready to lose your wallet.

The overall facility and staff were outstanding! Everyone was kind and courteous, the facility was clean, the patients seemed to be well cared for . I really would consider the facility if my family needed the kind of help that is offered there.
