The staff is wonderful. My mom was not an easy person to deal with and they all worked to win her over and help her with goals. They really showered her with love and seeed extremely sad when she passed. The facility is very nice and the rooms are spacious. We did not have to pay extra for some amenities: laundry, cable and wifi. The facility had routine activities, parties and entertainment. Food was our only challenge for my moms delicate GI system. We did have several meetings and eventually found solutions. My dad passed there as well and the administrator and others stayed with my mom until we could arrive and be with her

Facility is not big and easy to get around. They also have a themed Family Night once a month.

The best is they know how to handle challenges effectively. They are also very caring. It's a beautiful space as well. The staff is very responsive and respectful

Dad enjoyed the food very much. The staff was happy to get to know him and care for his needs as his needs changed. The community was always kept clean. The atmosphere is very pleasant and inviting to visitors.

We were very happy there. It was a wonderful caring place. All of the staff are kind and thoughtful and go above and beyond for the residents. My mom passed away in may and even though she only lived there a short time they treated us as family- sending cards, and helping me donate her things.

1-7 definitely all fives! Value for cost it's a struggle for her to keep up with that cost, but I believe that they are very comfortable if not less than most of the other assisted-living in my area, Comfortable =comprable. Our family member has faced many challenges in the last 2 to 3 months. The staff they have been incredibly supportive and helpful. They are there attending to what she needs. I have never overheard them complaining cause she's being needy at times. That's really important. She loves all of the staff, she can't get over how much they take the time to sit and talk to her for a few minutes each time they come in and they come in to check out two or three times a day to make sure she's OK. I can't say enough good things about them!

This place is absolutely amazing! The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, always treating residents with respect and warmth. The community is clean, welcoming, and full of engaging activities. We just recently moved my mother in law into Southgate American House and she loves it. I had been looking for the right place for her for months and found it here. When I went in for the tour [names removed](sorry not sure correct spelling) were so kind and helpful. They really put me at ease. The residents were also very friendly and helpful. The first day I took mom down to eat in cafeteria and she met so many new friends. They were all willing to help her learn where everything is and just a wonderful bunch of people. I would recommend to anyone looking for a safe place for their loved one. The apartments are beautiful and again she truly loves being there.

If you are looking for senior living you should check this community out. We’ve had a great experience with them. My Mom and Dad moved in and they have been thriving ever since, they take advantage of all the great amenities and have gotten the pep back in their step. Couldn’t be happier with what they have done for my parents.

I toured numerous communities during my search - myself and my family are very happy that we found American House. I’ve made a lot of friends, get to enjoy beautiful community and the employees have been a blessing. The only thing I wish I had done differently is made the move sooner, it’s really a wonderful place to live.

I appreciate and am grateful and thankful for the compassionate care I am receiving. The staff is amazing, the food is delicious, and the residents are very friendly. The number of activities offered are very enjoyable.

Every single person here is just wonderful! I am thankful that I listened to my niece and moved here sight unseen. [name removed] has been really exceptional for everything I've needed and [name removed] has been the best housekeeper ever! And it's hard to keep me straight! I highly recommend American House Bluewater Bay.

I am the new kid on the block here and so far I am very impressed with this place!! Everybody has been very accommodating and always have a smile on their faces. Apts are perfect! I’ll check in again.

[name removed] was the first person I had a welcoming appointment with. She was Very positive and helpful with my mom's transition from townhome to her new apartment living. Cafeteria serves three meals a day. Their activity coordinator [name removed] tries to keep the residence, engaged and busy. Housekeeping does a nice job keeping the place tidy daily. I feel that it has been a great experience and happy we moved my mother there.

All very friendly and willing to help. Yes, I would absolutely recommend this community to other families based on the experience so far.

We think mom is being well taken care of. Facility is pretty clean but her room seems dirty most times we visit. She doesn't seem interested in the activities and that is mostly her.
