The community was very accommodating during the move-in process. With the maintenance department, it has been hard to get them to fix things right the first time. The community is neat and clean, and the staff is very friendly. I would recommend this community to others.

We did not have to look at any other places because we liked Elmcroft of Hamilton Place after our first visit. The room sizes here are good size. My mother is in memory care and my dad is in assisted living but they are able to eat meals together every day. My dad is really enjoying playing bingo. I would recommend to others who are looking.

There are always extra charges so don't think it's the same price every month it will fluxuate. We have to initiate the communication and it is not easy to found out who to contact for what. The common areas are neat and clean and there are activities for the residence.

I toured Elmcroft of Murfreesboro in [date removed]. The staff I observed seemed caring, and the residents appeared content. Elmcroft's memory care area looks to be the oldest and darkest part of their facility, though I was told that the facility will be refurbished soon. Their memory care rates, however, seem to reflect the older condition of the facility, and are lower than other rates at nearby memory care facilities. The common gathering/eating area in the memory care area seemed particularly cramped. I only viewed a shared room in the memory care unit, and the blinds were closed at the time. The private rooms I viewed in the assisted living area were quite nice and had adequate space. [name removed], Elmcroft's Sales Director, was particularly helpful, spent a long time answering my questions, and followed up with me by email. Elmcroft has a psychiatric nurse practitioner who visits once a week. The caregiver to resident ratio appears typical for other memory care facilities, usually 2 caregivers for 12-15 residents.

Based on our tour, everything seemed fine. In the end, the place we chose was a better location for us and a better price. But everything else at American House was comparable otherwise.

We chose American House Cedarlake for the location. The apartment sizes here are wonderful which was also a great selling point. He is in a 2 bedroom 2 bath and it is a very open floor plan. He can come and go as he pleases, but they are unable to mingle with other residents in the facility. I would recommend to others looking.

Overall it is a fabulous place. Everything is done well. The staff is great. The only concern was dealing with medication, the community worked closely with me about the medication corrections. The evening hours was when we had more of the issues. I had to be on top of it to work with the community on getting this resolved.

The people I talked to on the phone were lovely. I liked that the tour coordinator followed up with me multiple times, even after we had already found a place, to make sure we were still doing okay and didn't need a place. The money was good for the size of rooms. Basically the location just didn’t work out for our family.

Residents approached us saying that it's a good place and they are happy there. Assistance with medication is on site.

They're very friendly here, and keep things very clean. They have lots of activities. My favorites are dominos and cards. I've been having my food delivered to my apartment, and sometimes it's messed up. It just doesn't look as good as if you had the plate handed to you in the dining room. It looks small in the containers. But if you're able to go down to the dining room, it's excellent.

Medical staff are very compassionate. [name removed] is excellent.

We chose American House Carpenter Senior Living because I live in the area and it is only 15 minutes from my house. It was also the least expensive and I felt the quality was good enough for what we needed. In comparison to what is around here and what they want, it is a good value for the dollar. The apartment sizes are really nice, she is in a bungalow and she was able to fit all of her belongings in here and has a lot of storage space. She has a nice view of the courtyard from her room and the courtyard here is very pretty. I think the facilities are easy to manage and user friendly and I would recommend them.

The staff were very good. The room was clean and well kept. The community brought meals to my loved one due to the pandemic.

We chose American House because it was a locked facility, and they had availability at the time that we needed it. The room size was very good I thought. My husband was a people person and loved talking to people, and with covid he was not able to do that. He had dementia, and we had to mask up when visiting so it was hard to know if he knew who we were. Overall it would depend on the individual if I would recommend or not.

Communication is not good in the community, and the food is not great. It's a beautiful community 3 floors and a really nice outdoor area. I would definitely recommend this community to others

I really l.ike the engagement the community does with the residence. They are trying to do the best they can, and they are very cautious with who and how people come into the community and keeping the residence safe is a top priority.

We chose Elmcroft because of the customer service, they were really in tune with everything we needed and were not pushy. they let us come to them. The room sizes here are good for her needs. Overall, I would absolutely recommend them.
