American House

Lovely place, lovely staff and employees. All residents we spoke to loved the place and were happy to be there. Apt's we were shown were spotlessly clean and maintained. A very close second to the Beach House, Wiregrass.

My Mother has been at American House-Freedom Place, Rochester Hills, Michigan for several months now. The Director is "Wonderful" and the entire staff is "Great!" The building is beautiful and the food is also "Great!" Thanks, Freedom Place!!

Lovely place and very helpful staff. We'll see. Apartments available a little small but then it's not for me. I would definitely have my Mother look at it.

Nice facility, but felt a bit older. Also as with others, it is too far from the things we love-the friendship center and main street in sarasota.

The setting in here is very peaceful and quiet. There isn't a lot of commotion going on. It has a homey feeling to it, maybe 18 residents. He sometimes enjoys the daily activities, they had a Christmas party and his wife joined him for that. The food is very good the chef is a retired chef so it is excellent, he buys the food and prepares it. They have private rooms and they will come in and clean them weekly. The whole place is always clean. The staff always try to accommodate him and his needs. I would recommend this community.

Western team on first 2 floors made the facility look dark. The 3rd floor was decorated with bright colors and a Key West theme. Was more inviting. 1 bedroom apt was nice size. Liked the central common area with larger pool. Monthly rate was better as it was outside The Villages

Like the home feeling. Employees seem friendly. Good appearance. Heard everything and it seemed right. Drawback—tiny, tiny studio room. Not much room. Ave. And expected costs. Close by and easy to get to.

I love American House Milford Senior Living and I have nothing bad to say. Our decision was mainly based on location and apartment availability. It was in a close location to me but there was a wait list for an apartment and it would be for the next apartment that became available, there would be no choice on where you want a room.

The staff at this community are phenomenal. They did a great job of helping the residents feel safe and comfortable at a new community during the hurricane. When they returned to their community the staff made sure they checked on my parents and brought the meals to their room as the dining room was damaged. They have activities available. They do keep the community clean and have started to be able to cook meals again on site.

My mother enjoys the safety of this community. The activities are amazing. I will continue to recommend this community to my friends for their loved ones.

Very good place to live when I first moved in I made so many new friends. Lots and lots of laughs. I really enjoyed making things as an activity.

The best that I can have next to being at home. Since my husband is deceased I have made many new friends since I moved in and I am a very socially active lady. If I can’t be home – this is my home now.

Very nice rooms and nice surroundings. Smaller buildings and separate ones for Assisted and Memory Care. This would be Independent Living with services added if needed. Smaller venue but not sure if right socializing environment.

Loved this place. The apartments were generous in size and washer-dryer units in each apartment a huge plus. Clean, residents seemed very friendly and smiling, the lunch was very good. The price was good as well. Highly recommend.

We toured a few communities and this community was nice but my sister just didn't think it would be quite right for her. The staff was very friendly and nice they gave us good information on the tour. In walking around the community appeared to be well kept and well maintained. They seemed to offer quite a bit of activities for residents to do

This community was very nice we liked it very much. The staff was friendly and informative.; The community appeared clean and well kept. The location of the community was not ideal for us it was further away than what we would have liked it to be.

The American House Troy Senior Living is a beautiful community. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. The meals that are provided do not give many options for healthy meal choices. I am used to eating more organic foods with not so much seasoning and sugars added. Residents are not offered alternative choices if they do not want to eat what is offered on the menu. I have a nice apartment that I am still settling into. There are activities for the residents to participate in, at this time I am recuperating so I have not yet had the chance to engage in what is offered.

Although we did not choose this community for my parents they were good with the communication. They kept me updated and even followed up with me after our conversations.
