American House

My brother has made friends and has his favorites among the staff team that works at American House Brentwood. He enjoys the food most of the time. He has adjusted well and is in so much better shape than when he got there. I do have some negatives but had rather wait and see if we can work it out

I would say it is nice. The people are caring and the facility is clean. The owner company could evaluate the need for more staff, I could see that as a benefit. The staff that is there has been excellent in our experience.

My brother picked it. He liked [name removed] & the food he brought him from the chef.Very nice & friendly. The food is good & my brother gets seconds. It's a nice place & smells good. Not like most assisted living places.

Howard just says the food is good at American House Zephyrhills. No complaints. He often has lunch and/or dinner there with her.

Our family had an in person tour with American House Coconut Point and it was a really nice tour experience, the community is new and fresh.

It felt like home. Other places felt like hotels. It has a cozy inviting atmosphere, staff are welcoming. But during our visits we rarely see anyone out in the common areas.

So far I've been satisfied. We picked this community because it seemed to provide a caring and safe environment and value for cost.

Overall, we are satisfied. We are doing her laundry and a lot of clean up so there is not a lot for housekeeping to do. Sometimes the patient care staff is a little lax. The food quality is adequate, kitchen staff we would rate at a 4. I wish there were more activities. But I understand that not a lot of residents want to participate so therefore it is hard to evaluate. Maintenance staff is awesome.

I think things are going well but there is a little improvement I would like to see in all categories. Thank you. I am happy with our choice. I'd say things were going well. I am optimistic that my loved one will do well there.

Our family had an in person tour with American House Cedarlake and we liked the lady who gave the tour. We like the apartments we were shorn but it was too far from us and it didn't look too populated.

My mom enjoys the community and the friends she has made there. The staff is currently shorthanded, so it sometimes takes a while to get a response when needed, but they are all extremely kind to her.

MPSL was built during the pandemic and I was very pleased to have found a "modern looking" facility for my husband who resided there for 13 months before he passed away. It was the perfect place for him because he walked around and this facility accommodated that need with many areas where one can also sit and look out a window. The caregiving staff is awesome-very caring and experienced.

I would recommend to others. It's been good so far. We picked this community, for our loved one because it was near to my house. Friendly staff. Indoor parking. My dad liked it most.

Our favorite thing about the Anthology of Rochester Hills is by far, the staff is composed of kind hearted, loving caregivers. They take care of my mom well, but also support and encourage my dad( who visits her daily). The atmosphere is beautiful which is also nice. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would definitely recommend this community to others.

Some of the staff have been great. The nursing staff have been really nice. Our mom has dementia and does not walk all that good anymore. So, unlike her first facility where she was encouraged to participate in activities we feel she is staying mainly in her room because no one goes and gets her. She always talked about her and the girls playing Bingo at her old place and her crafts. At American House Bristol she never ever talks about any of it. The food is not as great as we were lead to believe either. Mom doesn't see well and as I said she has dementia so she really doesn't understand to ask for something different. She would love good old country cooking (green beans, corn bread, Cole slaw, potatoes that aren't French fries). She hates eggs and doesn't eat a lot of meats. As far as housekeeping goes, she runs out or gets dangerously low of toilet paper. Her TV is hard to operate for someone with good eyesight and understanding. Moving in went good because we were a team of her family. At her old place the staff seemed to know not only her name but ours as well. We have called and emailed but never heard back other than from [name removed], he is my go to guy. The price and the nursing staff was our number one reason for bringing her to American House Bristol, but if not for that I would almost say her other place she liked much better and interacted with others more.

I really like the community and the staff is usually very responsive. I love that so many good doctors come up the facility which is very convenient. I think they will get things back on track. My parents are very happy there.

My loved one is currently a resident at American House Murfreesboro and overall they seem to be pretty good at this facility. The staff, friendliness, and quality of care are great. The staff is willing to work with their patients, but could work on learning how to build rapport with their patients.

American House at Coconut Point didn't appeal to my mom; it was too "glitzy" and she did not like the assisted living wing in the same building as the independent, even though they had separate dining and activities. It was a nice place, but also she really liked having an apartment lanai which was not available there.

if you are looking for true Assisted Living at the price quoted, this isn't it. There are many charges for which people like us can't afford. They are too cheap to provide internet access and most of us baby boomers want it. This is what is called enhanced living. And as of August 1 they're going to charge us $50 for a check even if it's a cashiers check and 3.9% if you use a credit card. As of today you can't get food from the kitchen to take to your room. Typical large corporation. I would not recommend American House Sterling at this time.

Good tour. Clean facility. Location not as convenient.
