My dad enjoys living at The Colonial. They take good care of him, make sure he's comfortable and happy. The staff ensures he's in good health and if an issue arises they contact me immediately. Very clean and well maintained facility.

I feel overall it’s a comfortable, caring place. The one area needing improvement are the meals. I feel more fresh vegetables and fruits should be served and less canned vegetables and fruits. We live in an area where fresh vegetables and fruits are readily available.

I would definitely recommend Sonata to others. My loved one was in memory care so I can't comment on other buildings. Staff was friendly, accommodating. I had commented on the food not being very appealing or nutritious. It had improved but needed more work. Remark applied to dinner only. That's what I saw. Management was very helpful & caring. No activity after dinner other than TV. Some activity for residents during daytime, however I realize it was memory care. Shortage of staff at times. Made things difficult, & I know it's a problem all over. Place could use an updated look. Nevertheless, I would still would recommend it for the attention that my loved one received.

This is an excellent place for your loved one. The community is only five years old, and the best value for your dollar. The staff communication with the family is excellent. They are willing to remedy concerns quickly and they have an open door policy when it comes to the family's questions.

This was a good community, but we didn't have any family close by for our loved one.

The front end experience is wonderful. I was not rushed through the process, they made sure that I was in the right frame of mine for my loved one. The staff are friendly and proactive in caring for my loved one. The community is very clean. I feel that the community could use some additional assistance; however, I feel this is most anywhere currently. No community is perfect. Overall I would feel comfortable recommending someone place their loved ones here.

It's a really beautiful place. If your loved one is fairly easy going and willing to participate in things, then it might be a great place for them. If your loved one is more hesitant and has higher care needs, then it's too big of a place and not enough people that really want to do the care that they need to be doing.

It's been wonderful to meet new people and hear their stories and experience their friendliness. I've spoken with some of the residents and most have come here because other residents spoke to them during their tour - that does make a difference. Most of the staff have been very helpful. My apartment is great. I have a full kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room, and a washer and dryer in my unit. I was able to take all my things out of storage with the space I have here. They do allow pets, I have two cats with me. They provide transportation to some appointments and stores within a certain radius of the facility. Activities offered include fitness and wellness, cards, movies nights, happy hours on Friday(s), crotchet classes, bible study, yoga, water aerobics and so forth. Overall, I would recommend The Glades at ChampionsGate to others.

I would say to modify your expectations. It is bright and shiny and looks really great from the outside but really needs to be considered is the level of care. There are a lot of staffing shortages and communication is not always the best especially when you first move in they do not tell you a lot of the details that you need to know. Getting services started was a challenge and unless you hire a private care partner then your loved one is not going to get a lot of personal care. If your loved one is not self sufficient then you want to hire a care person to care for them due to the small number of staff in the community. I feel that my parents are in a safe environment and I am not completely dissatisfied and with all of the shortages alll other places are comparable at the time just go in with your eyes open.

We went with Monarch at Richardson because the location works out really well for my brother who lives close by. They keep her busy throughout the day in the memory care unit. They play games, do exercise classes, read to them, etc. She has a personal room and it is a nice size. The only negative is that they have lost almost everything of hers even though they are all labeled, so it would be nice if they could keep track of her personal items.

This community was okay but we did not care for it as much as the other community that we were interested in.

The Preserve at Clearwater was quite expensive, so we couldn't consider it. But it seemed like a very nice facility.

Our experience has been pretty simple. They're doing what I thought they would do. My loved one seems content and happy here. She's making friends. I do understand that they're going through a management change to Watermark, and I'm waiting to see how that goes.

Elan Westpointe was a pretty new community and very clean. Of course, based on a tour, I can't say what the actual living experience would be like.

I would recommend it but there are some staffing challenges they are working through. Overall I am pleased with it. Which is why my loved one is still there. The staff is very responsive when you bring things to their attention. My loved one said the food is somewhat bland and would enjoy some more options to choose from. The resident involved activities seem very repetitious. They don't have a lot of choices. The choices she does have, she isn't interested in. The movie night goes to the loudest resident picking the movie, versus a scheduled movie to watch. It's the same movie over and over.

We had a very nice tour experience with Tuscan Gardens, we were really considering this facility especially because the location would have been close. The staff were great as well but we found another facility that fit my loved ones needs better.

I would recommend Elan Westpointe to others. I'm unsure if this is due to the effects of Covid, but sometimes they are not as responsive to the alert pendant when its pressed. it's been a bit inconsistent and it may be related to staffing issues, and not so much the management. the only thing my loved one complains about is the food, but that's also subjective. despite those things, I would still recommend this community. the staff that I have interacted with seem very caring and concerned about the well being of their residents.

The best part of Sonata Boynton Beach, which our loved one tells us every time, is the décor. It is always so well appointed and has beautiful surroundings. We were looking for a smaller scaled community, and everything is just right outside our loved ones room. The gathering area is just a couple steps away and the dining hall is very close by. We would recommend this community to others based on our experience so far.

It's a nice place. They are really great working with my helping my loved one. Every place has hiccups, they try hard to work through them and get them resolved.
