My mom has lived there for about 6 months and there definitely has been some changes here, but they were much needed. The new company came in and made some changes and has hired a new manager named [Removed] that seems really great and has already helped us with many issues that we were having before he started. The new company is local and held a meeting where they met everyone and listened to the concerns. We are all excited about this change. I went and toured a community in Austin that the company manages called Legacy Oaks and we were very impressed. Mom and I are very happy with this new management company and new staff. Also- the community is the most beautiful community in the area! Mom feels very special living in such a nice place. It is nicer than my home. Food is great too!

My mom is doing wonderfully. I can't begin to say how happy I am. I rave about Brookdale and she is very happy. She has made a complete turn around and is rallying. The staff are wonderful and they took wonderful care of her during the hurricane. She was happy, content, and safe. We have no complaints it feels like home.

We were very apprehensive about moving my 101 year old mother out of her very familiar independent living home and surroundings to an assisted living facility, but it had to be done. Now I am sorry we didn't do this a few years ago. So is she. She is relaxed and feels secure. The staff at Brookdale have been wonderful and attentive. Brookdale on Congress and 23rd in Boynton Beach is kept immaculate, the food is good and well presented. She has only been there a month as of this review but as of today we have not one complaint that is worth even mentioning. Any adjustment that had to be made was handled soon after it was brought to the staffs attention. Each resident has their own needs and habits and are met with caring and understanding attitudes of each member of the staff.

Everyone was really friendly that i met along the tour that i took of the community. It was a pet friendly place. Some of the activities that were offered were cooking, trivia, and art classes. They had special diet meals for the residents that way it met their needs. The meals they offered are healthy. I saw that the community was spotless and everything was in place.

My dad moved into Poet's Walk about a month ago. We have seen remarkable changes in him since he has been there. He is involved in the activities, something that he did not do at all for the three years previously at another assisted living facility. The staff at Poet's Walk are all knowledgeable about how to deal with those who have dementia and it makes all the difference. Each person there from the director to the chef are all kind and dedicated caregivers. Food is very important to my dad and they have gone out of their way to make meals that he enjoys. The facility itself is new and has many technological advances that help the nurses care for the residents. There are motion detectors in the rooms that tell them if the resident is having a restless night or up many times in the bathroom. From the moment we walked into Poet's Walk we felt welcomed. Each staff member has a smile and a hello for us when we come to visit Dad. Poet's Walk deserves the highest recommendation available and I would encourage others to come check it out if you have a loved one who needs individual care. Poet's Walk gets five stars from me and I think my dad would agree.

My father is now living at Poet's Walk and has a much higher quality of life than he did at other assisted living facilities. The staff are all experienced, knowledgeable, kind and loving toward the residents. They include my dad in the activities which he would not participate in at other places. The one on one attention toward residents is great. The staff social worker who is the liaison between residents, their families and staff has helped us and Dad feel comfortable and at home there. Activities are geared to help with memory and brain function and carried out with attention to detail and great kindness. While we were getting Dad admitted, the administrative staff helped us understand the forms that needed to be filled out. They have a physician on duty and there are licensed nurses administering medicines and taking care of the residents. The food is prepared by an excellent and highly qualified chef. They have a van to take residents on outings. It is a new facility that has modern technology built into the rooms to help the nursing staff. We are so pleased to have Dad living there and he is happy there, too! Poet's Walk gets the highest recommendation available from us.

My wife is getting the care that she needs. The staff is wonderful with her. My wife sometimes participates in their activities. I love that she has her own privacy she has her own bathroom and room. Pets are allowed which is wonderful my wife loves the company.

My mother moved to this memory care facility and she has been treated with the utmost care and thoughtfulness. Everyone we worked with getting her adjusted and comfortable receive my highest recommendation.

My mother is doing fabulous here at this community. It is truly a wonderful community. The staff is excellent, they have been very helpful and accommodating. She is really getting involved in the community. She participates in many of the activities they offer. The food is great, they have a fabulous menu. I know she is safe and in good hands. They are providing her with great care and I would highly recommend it.

Everyone at Elan Westpointe has been outstanding. We have been impressed with every staff member we have met at Elan and we have met a lot of them. They made the difficult decision of finding a place for our mom very easy. As soon as we walked in we felt like this was the place. We toured several communities but none compared to what we found at Elan. Mom moved in a few days ago and the transition was so easy. She has already made friends and loves it there. What a relief we feel to know our mom is happy and being well taken care of. My sister and I keep saying we want to live there too. I didn't know places like this even existed, but I am sure glad they do.

We are so very happy with Serenades by Sonata in Winter Garden, Fl. The team is totally focused on providing excellent care 24/7. I visit my Mom frequently and have a high degree of confidence in the entire staff. I have had experience with several other assisted living facilities and they don't come close to the care at Serenades. Margaret and her team deserve kudos for everything they do each and every day!!!

Everyone helped make the process an easy and pleasant one.

I think she is very happy there. They have lots of activities that she enjoys taking part in, especially the card playing. They have been very helpful with getting her to her appointments. The food is very good. They have a beautician there now, which also makes her happy.

We moved my mom into Clairbridge memory Care at Brookdale a month ago. The facility is clean, neat, organized and very professional. So far, it has been a good experience. The prices per month vary on their current occupancy so you may want to have plenty of time to wait until their occupancy is low so the price per month is more competitive. All and all it has been working out really well.

My mother and father in-law have lived in Viera Manor for more than 2.5 years; they moved in about 2 months after Viera Manor opened. I assessed over 100 assisted living facilities in Florida and California. I then visited about 20 facilities before we selected Viera Manor. The management and key staff have been outstanding. The facilities and room sizes are excellent. They help my father-in-law and mother-in-law in so many ways. My detailed assessment had an important criteria of 24/7 nurse staff. Very few facilities truly offer 24/7 nurse staff. The proximity to VA clinic has been important. I did try the meals in many facilities and I have had a meal about 25 times at Viera Manor. The meals have been balanced, healthy and good. I will say one facility had restaurant like meals (nearly fine cuisine) but charged more than $1400 more per month with significantly less nurse staff and operational nurse hours. Still after 2.5 years I would give it a 5 star. I am there about 20% of the days each year for over 2 years so I really get to see the operation. Thanks to all the staff at Viera Manor our family sleeps well and we know my mother-in-law and father-in-law have great comfort and care.

Loved it, is was perfect, small, just memory care and very homey feeling. The entire concept was great and I think we will go with this one

Serenades by Sonata is by far one of the best Dementia focused facilities out there. They go the extra mile and make sure that residents are treated with with the respect and compassion they deserve. I recommend this facility highly and without reservation.

It seems as if they keep the people very busy and active.
