Very nice front runner for us. Has a down home folksy feel to it, and the landscaping was gorgeous with green trees and grass. More reasonably priced with all the amenities that you get.

Barathaven is a wonderful community. I am confident our loved one’s needs are being met with genuine care and attention. The staff is personable and professional, available for questions and guidance, and bring calm and joy to life with dementia / Alzheimer’s. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and intentionally designed with the needs of the residents in mind. For example, residents who like to move have a never-ending hallway to walk. A beautiful courtyard in the middle of the facility invites residents to enjoy the outdoors safely. I’m grateful we found this community for our loved one and I am happy to recommend it to others.

It is very clean and there is no smell in the community. The nurses and healthcare workers are great! My loved one enjoyed the food, and gave snacks if requested by the residents. [names removed] were great and all the staff seemed friendly. The community has activities available for the residents.

I visited my sister yesterday for the first time as i love out of state. What a wonderful place this is. Wonderful people doing a wonderful job with smiles & laughter. Fantastic!

Our family was able to do an in person tour, but it was in January so the covid restrictions were more at the time. However we did still have a good tour, the representative we worked with was very nice and professional. The community was well managed and well kept.

We chose Azpira at Winderemere because it was much nicer and there were more men residents. The other thing that he liked was that the location was close and convenient for family. He is in a studio style room and it is fine for what he needs, it is about 400 sq ft. The facility has been great and they provide a lot of activities for the residents, he is really enjoying them. I do think would be nice if they cleaned the rooms more often, they only clean once a week right now. I would recommend to others looking.

We have been happy and very pleased so far. The people and staff members there have been awesome. The feedback we get from our loved one is that he is sometimes happy with the food, other times not a big fan. However, and we aren't sure if this is their policy or not, but if he is busy or asleep and misses the meal time, he can always count on a nurse bringing him his meal. It makes him feel extra special and appreciated.

They're very accommodating. My loved one received very good care. The staff were wonderful. Cleanliness was good overall, spotless in the common areas, but my loved one's individual room could have used some attention at times, including small things on the floor that should have been cleaned/swept up. They had a lot of activities to keep the residents engaged.

We toured this community and I really liked it. The staff was great, friendly and their communication was wonderful. I think they have a great memory care program and i would have loved for my loved one to come here.

We picked Legacy Ridge for our Mom. At the first moment we met Maria we felt like family. The facility is so cozy and homey. By the time we left we knew it was the place for our Mom. Unfortunately our Mom had severe behavior issues. We ended up having to find a place that could help her with this. Maria helped us to find a place for her. Stayed in contact with us. Helped us find nursing care. And we never paid Legacy a dime. This is real caring. We will forever be grateful, and I hope she saves me a room! This place truly feels like home!

This community was very nice and they had lots of activities going on. This would be great for an independent loved one it just did not fit our needs.

I looked at a ton of places, and this stood out to me. They are very activity oriented and engaging with the residents. They welcome residents with memory care issues . The community was able to allow family visits during COVID with CDC compliance. Several family members said they would want to go here when they need it. The staff is excellent. The communication is very good and they even allow us to have a direct line with the Executive Director if needed. They are a best practice community and they allow other communities to model after them.

I was very happy with them. I thought it was a very clean, friendly, well-rounded place. I really enjoyed everyone I ran into there. They did a great job. They were very helpful. If you needed something, they would take care of it for you. And my loved one ended up needing a lot. I felt like I my loved one was always receiving great care, and that made me really happy. There were some ownership changes going on, one when we moved in, then another change when we were moving out. That didn't affect the care provided at all, but came into play with some admin things for the family. We didn't mind, as we thought they were always trying to improve the community with any changes they made. The building had great presentation - when walking in you felt like you were walking into a 4-star hotel. We chose Hampton over several places. There were others that were less expensive, some were too big, some too small. Hampton wasn't the cheapest but certainly seemed like for the money it was the best value. I've been very happy with Hampton all the way through.

Merrill Gardens is fantastic! They are doing things right. My mom is happy here. The communication is excellent. They provide any time there is an update, they send an email during the pandemic.

My name is [name removed] and I come from Reading, PA. where I lived for about 89 years. In [date removed], I took a serious fall and my daughter brought me to Florida where she found a place with a lovely setting called Tuscan Gardens of Palm Coast. Upon arrival , I was greeted by a staff of very warm people who amazed me by knowing the residents by their first names. There are several nurses on duty, which is very comforting. Many of the medical staff visit us and check on us regularly. when they have time, they chit chat with us. They make us feel more at home. The kitchen staff do not need to be reminded if we prefer tea or coffee first thing in the morning before our breakfast is served. They have an outstanding Physical Therapy Department that I am most appreciative of the care I receive from them. They have exceptional Therapists. Not to be forgotten is the maintenance staff. They are available at all hours of the day. In my opinion, their care has gone way beyond what I have anticipated. My hat is off to the Activities Department for their hard work during the pandemic. They provide daily activities even with the challenges of wearing mask and staying 6 feet apart. My first year as a resident at Tuscan Gardens brings me hope. The caring staff and loving residents bring me happiness. I hope when you come for a visit you will share my enthusiasm.
