I toured Poet's Walk Round Rock and I really liked it, but it was a little too big for my husband to feel comfortable. He doesn't do well with large settings, plus the fact that they bring everyone out to the common area to participate in activities. Sometimes he doesn't want to be around people and I was afraid he wouldnt adapt well. Having dementia, you never know which version of him you'll get - the happy one or the one who doesn't want to be around anyone; I would've chose Poet's Walk otherwise.

We toured Pavilion at Great Hills; it was a 3 story community that was really nice. It likely would have been too big for my husbands comfort, as there were too many people. We chose another community because Pavilion's price was out of my range.

The food is great. My loved one just got involved with activities. My loved one is also, starting to get more comfortable with the community and getting out of their shell. The staff is very caring, kind,and gentle. Irelaly like the staff, and they are very good with the patients. One reason I chose this place, is because I really appreciate the staff. The first week, there was an assigned family liason person, who helped with everything. In addition, they send a weekly activities report which shows what my loved one is doing each week.

I would recommend Revel for a place to "really" get older - most of the food items (menu) are very good. The attention & quality given to the residents can't be beat, although not cheap, but the activities keep one busy.

My mom has been a resident at Barathaven for four months. She went there from an assisted living environment. Mom has done very well at Barathaven. The house doctor has adjusted her medication and she no longer needs an anxiety medication. Any concerns we have had have been addressed and taken care of to our satisfaction. The staff all recognize her and call her by name and from what I have seen they treat all the residents with the utmost care. Mom Likes to stay in her room so I’m not sure how many of the activities she actually participates in. When I am there, I can usually get her to do some of the activities.

The faculty was clean. Everyone working there was polite and friendly. The residents were smiling and seemed happy

Although my Father's stay there was short, I could tell this was a great place for my Father. I had worked there through an Agency 8 years ago and was Impressed With The Facility even then. [name removed] friendly disposition, Compassion and Knowledge was Very Apparent when we went for Our Visit to see if this is where we would put our Father upon Discharge from Hospital. After A long day with Dads Admission, we were brought Dinner. It was delicious, meat was tender and food was nicely prepared on the plate. Everyone there was so friendly and thoughtful. You could tell The Residents were well taken care of. The Facility was Very Clean and smelled fresh. I would highly recommend Barathaven to my Family and Friends who are looking for A Great Place for their loved ones. All of those who visited My Dad commented on how Nice Barathaven was.

My wife health and safety are of primary concern of the caring and attentive staff at Barathaven. She definitely enjoys the variety of dishes prepared and served to the residents during mealtimes. I have had the opportunity to observe staff assist residents that have difficulty feeding themselves. I always take the time to thank them for taking the time with sometime very difficult situations that they have to deal with every day

Since arriving at Barathaven, my mom has eaten more than ever. She raves about every meal. Before Barathaven she would pick and move her food around on her plate. It’s hard to sit with her and not eat as the smells are wonderful.

[name removed], the Dining Services Director and his team do a terrific job of serving hearty and flavorful meals that the residents enjoy. Recently I enjoyed a Salisbury steak, which was so warm and flavorful with a delicious brown gravy. The diced potatoes were so soft and delicious and the side vegetable was fresh and cooked perfectly. The food is prepared from fresh ingredients, which are delivered weekly so all the produce is fresh! It is my understanding that the resident's family members often join their loved one and their friends for meals.

Both my parents became residents in September 2022. From the very beginning I could tell this was much better than any facility that either of them had been in before. Clean "homey" friendly feel! Wish I could give them more than 5 stars

My mother is participating in exercise and attends the different events on the property. She goes on outings to Publix and Walgreens, so she's getting around and getting to know people - which is a good sign. The price is a little expensive, but given the amenities, the cleanliness, and the friendliness - the value is good. I would definitely recommend Addington Place to friends and other family members. I think that the price may be prohibitive for some people, but mother really enjoys it and I think its been a very good choice for her and our family. We're all pleased, and I would definitely recommend them again. I spent some time at Addington following my tour of the community, and I was able to speak with other residents as they came and sat near by. Another thing I like is that they have lots of little seating areas for large groups or a couple people. You can find a nook or cranny to sit down and talk. I observed the staff and their routine and I observed how they spoke to each other when not assisting residents. They were very kind to one another, I never heard a raised voice. I got a warm feeling that this would be a good place for my mom and that she would enjoy living here.

They get 5s all the way around - they were just excellent. My loved one passed away shortly after getting here but they were very attentive and I never expected to have such a good experience with an assisted living facility. I wish I would have moved her here sooner - they were awesome. Especially [name removed] the welcoming person who showed us around and [name removed] the nursing leader - really just everyone was so sweet and kind. The day she passed I was out of town and when I got there all of the staff came up to me and gave me a big hug and very empathetic. They made a horrible experience great.

It was all a 5, the best, and I am so thankful he had a beautiful place to stay with people that cared him the last 6 months of life. I especially loved the director, [name removed], who always had my back and watched out for him as well. Can't say enough good about them.

My loved ones are happy at Addington Place. The community is beautiful and the staff really care about the residents. There are lots of activities available for the residents to participate in. They truly have something for everyone. There are two meals a day with the option to purchase a third meal. There are snacks readily available at anytime for the residents.

If you mention any concerns, they seem to try and take care of it versus ignoring you. Outside of their monthly newsletter, communication is very good. They usually reach out via phone call on an as-needed basis or to gain permission for things. The community is locked and secure, and all on one level. Overall I would recommend Barathaven to others.

The community has been wonderful! The staff are exceptional and they catered to every need of my loved one. The staff were quick to respond to the call button requests by my loved one. The director is very nice and sweet. I can't say enough good things about the experience. The meals are outstanding. They kept my loved one's room very clean, and made sure to take my loved one down to the dining room for meals. The community worked well with hospice.

I really really liked Sarabella Senior Living. This was definitely our second choice - we liked everything that we saw. The staff were all wonderful but unfortunately the location was too far from our family.

A+ for staff. Atmosphere & food & large selection of activities. Thank you! For new comers, I would suggest a list of how to setup auto rent payment, request repairs, contacts for activities, panic button in apartments, cleaning services, etc..

Spacious apartment’s ,facility is fairly ,new top name appliances , facility is well maintained and clean, meals are very good.Love the large size salt water pool,lots of social-activities. I have lived at other independent facilities and highly recommend Revel .Staff is top notch and professional.
